CareerRe: AIT Staff Beg Buhari To Intervene In Salary Crisis by Sweetlemon(f): 12:09pm On Aug 12, 2015
mymadam:
Dear AIT Staff,

Kindly note that your matter is private, very private. Patriotic Nigerians want you to keep it so. Please DO NOT distract our leader. Did you recognize PMB, or any 'perceived enemy' for that matter, when the going was good? Please, please, and please, take a night flight to Otuoke for the appropriate solution to your problem. Thank you, Good luck, and God bless.

Signed: mymadam

This is typical Oron. Notice the design and pattern of their red caps. The ones with animal design on it are for titled and important men. This is what differentiates us from the rest of Akwa-Ibom and Cross River. Our language is also more different from the others. we use a lot "le" and "mmo" "i" "vo" compared to the rest that use a lot of "ong" "am" "nom"

Ur own problem started when u kept trying ur best to distance d SE igbos from d SS igbos, u kept saying they wear like, they dress like, y plainly it's there culture.
Please go back up and see where I posted a picture of Aniomas. Thank you. And how many aniomas or SE Igbos have come to deny that they don't occasionally don the bowler hat? I said it severally that other SS tribes have their own hats that they wear most of the time but once in a while you'd see an SS Igbo, or even an Akwa/Cross man wear the bowler hat. Occasionally. My dad has some of them even though he is mostly seen in his Oron cap. You grab?

This thread is about the South South of Nigeria. The Easterners can open a thread and say whatever they want about the East,as they have done numerous times, and no Southern minority will intrude UNLESS they become expansionists and include minority territory in Biafra.
They don't just seem to get this.

I think dis statement shud be directed at gbaja instead of tambuwal... Tambuwal has shown clearly how hausas behaves, dey will always support their pple no matter ur atrocities same goes to the Igbo but Yoruba is so different. They can so sell their kinsmen because of token. We all remembered wat gbaja did to honourable mulikat. Gbaja played a prominent roles in d emergence of tambuwal as d speaker back then and bluntly opposed his kinsmen mulikat. Yorubaaaaaaaaaaaa ronu o
This is why I respect South western politics so much people accuse me of being Yoruba.

The question you should be asking them is who started fighting them on this thread? Tell them to mention the moniker that insulted Igbos first here. That's what I'm waiting for before I can reply any orubebe wanna-be here.

this is basic result. normal during my time. Why is everyone drooling over this. this is even not so good!

and then it makes fp?

and do u knw the information security risk of putting all your info out there for all to see?
My dear I taya o. I'm sure you're up to 30 years and above. In our time you can't take this result home happily.
Was actually expecting to see A1 or at least B2 in Maths and English and other core subjects. But alas I'm seeing C5. Like seriously?! Abi are we supposed to be celebrating A1 in Igbo? The only other subject he got A1 is data processing. What a pity! Education is on a serious sharp decline these days all over the country.
EducationRe: My Junior Bros Waec Result by Sweetlemon(f): 9:48am On Aug 12, 2015
I bin tink say na A1 straight o. Lol.

But considering the decline in educational standards these days this is a good result.

Back in the days if you take home this result ya papa go kill you.

The SS Igbos are our blood kiss and we'd go to war to defend them if they're threatened by vermins from the other SS angry
And can you point out just one person here who has said anything bad whatsoever to give you the impression that SS Igbos "'re threatened by vermins from the other SS"?

I'm very much aware that my people worship and adore ogogoro. They wake up to discuss while the women go about their chores. "Sapele water" is a cheap commodity among the Urhobos, fortunately, a light-headed me don't take alcohol. I have an Esan friend, by the waycheesy "Omodia".

Sweetlemon, please add this, Urhobo men are lazy. They walk aimlessly all day or stay indoor while their women take the role of the man.
cheesy cheesy I don't think it applies to new generation guys though.

Leave that thing. Cultural interaction over time make cultures to copy one another. because history is not well recorded, u will think d people are d same people because of long time interaction.

Today almost every Nigeria do and wear"Asoebi" during wedding and even call it "Asoebi". does that make every nigerian Yoruba?. In d next 40years we will all think it is just a nigeria tin 4getting it was thru interaction.

There are many igbo in lagos who speak yoruba more than igbo language, are they now yoruba?

Most of dis south south nationalities sharing boundaries with igbo nationalities are not igbo. They have only had long interaction and trade with igbo. They both copied each other over time. and d cultures now have similarities.
Why nau? These people have been lurking in the corner all day looking for the slightest excuse to legitimately pounce on any SS saying they are not Igbo. Even throughout this thread you can see how they kept throwing banters which I stylishly handled.

Ok. I've always wondered if it was all Edo that dress like that. Thanks for the clarification.

The Ibani (Bonny and Opobo) were the originators of the boat regatta, I agree. But, since the creation of Rivers state and with Government support of CANIRIV virtually every ethnic group in Rivers now participate in the regatta. For instance, the crew you saw in that picture are actually Ogonis from Khana local government. However, the Opobos and Bonnys still celebrate a separate regatta held during the Nwaotam festival.
Interesting.

Edo- Delta marriages are the most common inter-tribal/State South South marriages. Especially between Binis and Urhobos
Followed by Akwa-Ibom - CrossRiver (i'm a product of one grin)
Then Bayelsa and Rivers
