There will always be corrections in both directions the market chooses to go. So I get your point. Whatever happens, there is a high probability there will be capitulation. I may be wrong, but that is what I can deduce.

I pray this happens as planned in Q3. Based on GA, I foresee a more regular NSE yearly cycle this year. The NSE is highly unpredictable.

Capitulation is when investors morale is low from low prices/extended bear market and they give up/surrender entirely in the market and start dumping in excess. Volume will be increasing and prices will keep jumping down for a while.


This is very different from what you are seeing now. When that time comes you will know. Lol!

Although GonFreecss1, IMO I dont expect capitulation without a bull, at least a mini bull. A few prices will need to be adjusted in readiness for the Q1 result release. Of great importance will be the first set of Q1 results to be released. These will determine if one needs to remain in the market or run for his/her life.

There is QE in EU area. Fed has stopped rate hike. All developed economies will soon start printing money again. Where the money go go? Fixed income instruments in Nigeria just saw small part of that and yields are dropping.

The whole world will be awashed with liquidity soon. These will be used to bid up prices everywhere in the world and after that comes the bursting of the major bubble.

Transcorp at N1 will be an opportunity for you to load more and more. Mind you, Transcorp's drop of yesterday was because of that entity that offloaded all at once, else Transcorp hardly drops like that in a day. FCMB MM might wake up tomorrow and drive things up. Zenith doesn't stay down for so long. I think you are good shaaaa.

Honestly, I have not grown to that level yet. This is why I miss BBM and FXuser.

Market is generally down, most stock expected to released better result disappointed. And it's making market unattractive. There is no near news to move the market forward, q1 result and half year result, most stock that fail last year will likely have better result this year.
For now market as observed will still experience some hard time this month, even the companies that released better result were not spare. But better time ahead, its time to look for cheap fundamental stock, and buy at lower price to average down.

I believe the top brokers know the amount of fresh money in the market and how to swallow it.....look at Union Bank...... I sold at #7, It is still dancing circa that price waiting for guillible ones to jump in, but wema I did not sell at #1 is on a free fall......

Diamond Bank has put some of you in confusion.You should have known that this type of thing arises in a situation like this.This stock rose up to 100% and you refused to sell hoping to collect #1 in addition.It will not be easy for some of you no matter all the efforts you make.

What if caverton did not respond to the result as expected cos we can see the pattern these days. After like 2-3 days its IGG will end.
There's nothing wrong with Fidelity, the only sin committed was the dividend error they made, market is just down generally.

It is to start watching Caverton closely but I believe buying in August when there may likely be a general dip would be the best, that's if the price doesn't get beyond my range.

Good dont sell at all just leave it since you don need the money in a hurry. Please find an investment strategy and stick with that and am sure if you do, your losses will always be minimal. Just leave those stocks there till when the market favors them. To me nothing fantastic will happen again in the mkt this year and as such, am bailing out gradually with last stock UBA to bail out on Monday after which i go to Tbill to make some money then come back to the market later in the yr and buy just 3 stocks maximum with zenith making 85% of my portfolio. Please dont buy stock cos others are buying it stick to your own strategy and you will at least 90% be a successful investors. I was formerly a long timer but now i have changed my strategy to enter at the best price, qualify for dividend or may not wait for the dividend depending on the price and exit then re-enter at a good price again, this i started in 2017 and has really worked much for me cos i ended up buying more of those stocks anytime i want to come back for them.

Good you have a strategy and are sticking to it. Do you really think this is the right time to leave the market??

this company appears to be the worse so far, WEMA result is GOLD compare to this one.

my advice to those holding d stock is to sell and run, invest the proceed to other promising stock. don't hold this stock on Hope

You did the right thing. Looking at the market earlier, I knew this will happen.

It is a strange behavior associated with dividend computations since last year... Dont be surprised if FCMB hits N1.70 or N1.60 in April.

This doesn't negate what the Ogas have said, it is just the best strategy for volume traders and dividend hunters.

Someone wants to escape from Fidelity now. They are controlling the price.

Whoever is blessing us with Transcorp should not stop...

You don't seem to get how these smaller banks are managed.

They need to shore up capitals by giving out little and holding back the rest so as to improve capital buffers. Fidelity has an over ambitious plan of becoming Tier 1 bank. Is it easy? So they need to plan and know how to go about this.

If Fidelity pays you 50kobo and comes back to raise capital at N2 from you, how will you feel?

So I believe they are holding back to improve their capital buffers.

However, if you don't like it, SELL. Depress the price below N2 so that people can load up more.

Above will happen. Patience is key in this market. I do not think the market will spare FCMB too but I am addicted to loading FCMB for now.
