Bt I think is better goin to TLS for d passport collection Since is refusal matter...

because wen my application was refused i didn't get a mail or fone call for collection...

My passport was wit TLS for 6 months I didn't notice dat until i was asked to submit back my passport after my successful administrative review...
I went to TLS October n i was tod my passport has been wit dem since june so i collected it n resubmitt it again to get my visa stamp...

My advise for her is to go to TLS n ask for her passport instead of waiting for dia mails n call...

Please how can I get an Immigration Lawyer here in Nigeria? Should I just visit the immigration office.
Its over 14weeks now without my passport and its really damaging having lost a lot.

UKVI replied me to visit TLS directly that they have been instructed to return my passport while TLS keeps telling me the embassy has not returned it. Whereas security guard won't allow me in at the embassy (Lagos). This damage is so unbearable.

I'm not even expecting a vignette I got a refusal letter since October 21st..Biometrics done sine September 2nd.

I feel the only option I have is to get an Immigration Lawyer..please who has worked with one and how fast is the process and cost?

Print out the message you received from UKVI then take it to TLS.
Also, you can email them. Remember to attach the message from TLS.

These folks would refuse one’s visa and still refuse to return the passport. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to return passports these days?

Hello my people,

I applied for a UK Visitors Visa and had my Bio on 6th October 2022. A friend of mine we applied and visited the biometric together same day got a refusal email notification a week ago.

I sent a paid email on Tuesday to UKVI and I was told they are still working on my application.

I tracked my application today and its already transferred to VAC but I didn't get any email to notify me of refusal or approval.

People with experience can you please share your opinion?

I have been carried away by something else o.. well I got a refusal sha. They said there were irregularities in my bank account. They also said they do not know how I accumulated my savings, you can imagine o, even after writing cover letter.

Quite alright, I noticed the irregularities in my dom account, but it was too late to defend it as I had already submitted. So to them, that cast a doubt on my entire application.

Also, they said asides from the sponsorship letter from my friend, that there is no evidence to back up our relationship, like chats etc. although I understand this, but then again, I wonder the essence of having my phone number as well as email if the ECO wouldn’t contact for additional info.

Therefore they said I have not declared properly my circumstances here in Nigeria, and also that they are not sure the money in my friend’s account will be available to me for my exclusive use. LMAO

They are crazy sha. My friend only included his account of 10,000 dollars savings just for this trip o, and from their statement of how the money was accrued, I believe they were also referencing that because it was only a letter from Wells Fargo confirming the account that was attached.

Maybe they needed bank statement or payslips from my friend. All that was remembered after I submitted application. My friend earns over 80k a year, plus other side stuffs. so that money was nothing. Probably they assumed it was fraud money.. LOL

See ehn, that refusal was just scattered, but I believe the ECO was jealous and just capitalized on the irregularities in my account. As Na Wetin he/she just Dey hammer on.

They didn’t even mention anything from my previous refusal just like I see them noticing on other people’s refusal note here. I think it’s probably because I cleared them on that one.

They said Na refusal under 4.2 a, c and e whatever I can’t even remember

I swear my next application ehn, I go just tell them say if them refuse me again, say e go better make them just carry their embassy commit from Nigeria kpata kpata as that might be my last. No be by force

Good evening beautiful, i did my bio for standard visitors visa on 22 sep and no word f4om them yet. I took 2 ladies number that we did on the same day. One did her bio before me and she was called today to go pickup her passport and no refusal mail for. The second person i did before her even had 4persons ahead before she did, i just called her now and she told me she got a refusal mail last week and was sent a collection mail today. I have still not heard from them, or is it because i did dhl delivery because both of them did pickup passport? Thank you for your opinions ahead

Please help me out.. I have gotten a refusal letter for over 2 weeks now but yet to receive my passport.

Reason for refusal:
1. sponsor telephone wasn't reachable.
2. Discrepancies in the amount sponsor stated in their letter.

Biometrics done since 2nd of September.
Decision made since 21st of October (refusal letter sent already).

I am really wondering why its taking this long.
UKVI has really dealt with me psychologically because I really need my passport urgently.

I have made several paid calls, paid email ( they claimed to escalate and ask me to wait for 15 working days). I have also made complaint to UK GOV (to. wait 20 working days)

I have contacted TLS and visited physically but all efforts proved abortive.
I later got to know that all passports are with the embassy. I visited the embassy but was not even allowed to enter.

I don't know what to do again. I need my passport and this issue is having significant effect on my mental health.

How can I loose two fully funded opportunities because of UKVI delay. I thy know I would have opted for "Keep my Passport" before biometrics.

Please what can I do?
