One goal per match Eagles.

Nig 1-0 Nam
Mal 1-1 Nig
Nig 1-1 Ken
Ken 0-1 Nig

Hope this lack of scoring ability (1 goal per match) will not work against us when we play tougher teams at the next round?

R2bees: why thanking God? So Tahiti qualified through raffle draw or toss?
Hey! U & i know dat in football there is what we call pedigre. Tahiti cannot even qualify 4 AFCON if they were in Africa. And i am sayin thank God we ar playin Tahiti first bc some1 earlier posted dat the eagles could suffer fatigue due 2 numerous games & travels. Even if dey ar fatigued dey should still b able 2 defeat Tahiti. So thank God it is nt Spain or Uruguay 1st. U gat dat Mr Riffle?

In an attack dat had Victor Ikpeba, Daniel Amokachi & Nwankwo Kanu & with Tijani Babangida & Emma Amunike playin from d wings, J-J Okocha @ d center, Sunday Oliseh & Garba Lawal Def midfield & Mubi Oparaku, Taribo West, Uche Okechukwu & Celestine Babayaro in d defence. Wilson Oruma, Karibe Ojigwe & Kingsley Obieku were also in dat squad. U dey find starting jersey. U no thank God say u make the trip sef.

SportsRe: Why I Don't Play For Nigeria - David Alaba by Syenite(m): 11:54am On May 27, 2013
airmark: BAYERN Munich youngster, David Alaba, says he should have been playing representative football for Nigeria but was denied by stringent eligibility rule by football officials in the country.

Alaba, whose father is Nigerian and of Filipino mother, plays for Austrian national team but only after he has been turned down by Nigeria.

The defender said he actually planned to join Nigeria's cadet team which won the 2007 FIFA World Youth Championship at South Korea but words reached him of his ineligibilty

''I wanted to play for Nigeria but I must confess that there was no formal approach for me. A scout actually discussed that with me. I was excited because of my dad, he was a fan of Sunday Oliseh when Oliseh played for FC Koln. As a kid, I loved to watch Victor Agali in the jersey of Hansa Rostock,'' he told an Austrian news medium.

However, Alaba was shocked when told by the scout that Nigeria had plans mainly for its home-grown talents.

'' I got the information that Nigeria will only consider those who were in the country perhaps because of travelling logistics and that is the end of that."

You see i have always been of the opinion that every player whether foreign or homebased should be given a consideration at all levels. I dn't like this idea of giving special considerations to home based when we equally have more exciting foreign based players. Keshi is guilty of this.

Ok the so called Mathew Edile that played in the position where Alaba could possibly had played, where is he today?
