Pls when you see a domain that sounds good to you on ED, what are the first 5-7 things you do, or check, to determine if you will eventually buy that particular domain name?


What are some:-
-metrics you lookout for?
-things you check for in each domain name?
-most used sites?
-some must-have tools for a domainer that you rely on to help you be consistent

pls share some of your proven tips on how you snag premium domain names from ED(or other sources), most of the good looking names always seem to be registered quickly

My Teq/novate domain expired and is now available for fresh handreg. Hold time was 1yr, handregged. I think it was the third domain name I ever registered after meta/funds/transfer dot xyz and meta/fund/transfer dot com which are now expired. Meta rush, forgive me 🙇
I outbounded teq/novate to teq/novation dot com and followed up 2 or 3times but got no reply 😔😒 It was listed as premium and had SH landing pages before it's expiry with a cool logo. It got some shortlists on SH but I've always questioned that "shortlist" stuff. Maybe na bot dey do that thing🤔 I liked the domain for it's style ✨
Just putting it out here for anyone who would like it. My oga @gpexchange liked it for it's style too.
To all of us, if you have expired domains you didn't renew, maybe you'd fancy dropping it here in case anyone would like to reg it. It's better than all those sales report issues and banters flying around town.

In the process of making an offer on your names at Dan, is there any possibility of the enduser knowing or seeing your country?

What do you do when you notice someone could be watching your domain? I only activated BIN + Lease to own on the name. Since 22nd I've noticed up to 3-4 views on the name, that is if Google Analytics is reliable

Let me give you a suggestion for unregistered submission.
When you have names pending for such a long time (2 weeks max), delete and resubmit. If nothing happens after a while again, just delist and submit another name.
Lately, for Squadhelp registered domains, the top quality ones (which the Ai & all their reviewers upvote) are what is being approved (you'll see something like "Auto-approved" ) . While the ones that are pending for long time needs manual approval (These are usually average names).
I have names pending since April. What I did was to simply remove them and submit another set. 3 have been approved within a week so far.
The ones I delisted will still be submitted at another time.
1 week is usually the max I wait before replacing a "pending review" domain now.

Recently found out that one of my domains is the title of a book and the hyphen variant was in use and later dropped. HD picked the hyphen variant and now has a price of $4k+ on it. I discovered this after regging the name. The version without the "ing" has a tag of $7k on it for sale on BB. I think my version is better
I'm only asking $2k+ for mine. A domain investor on Twi.tter had asked me to price it at $1k to sell it faster. Did for about a week or two and increased the price. I'm willing to HODL

I signed up on google analytics yesterday and later viewed two of my domains to know whether it's working. I've forgotten one of the domains I viewed myself but I remember one.
I'm having three views now, two from Nigeria and one from U.S.
I know the naija views are the views I made but how do I know which of my domains was viewed from the U.S?

it was an outbound sale... nobody was replying. I had hoped to negotiate discussed but nobody replied to the email until I placed that price on it via email. Also, there weren't many end users for that services.. I think it was just 21 one of them in total.
