hello house.

I just recieved my ITA.

CAN I CHOOSE NOT TO UPLOAD MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

Also, my BA certificate has my middle name as Aminatu while all other docs state same middle name as Aminat. Do i need to validate this with something legal?

Do you know anyone that this has happened to beforei mean getting an NOI with less than 400 especially when their website says 400

Canadavisa forum has an OINP thread and have never seen anyone share that they reciveed NOI with less than 400

You can Google the forum to see applicants processing timelines.not sure I'd nairaland has rules as regards posting URLs from other related blogs

Kids only undergo a physical exam so their mental ability may be tested. However, being timid and not responding are two very different things. Im pretty sure the doctor will know what to do to get her to talk. In our case the doctor had a proper conversation centered on her best food and school and regular simple everyday kids stuff. So you shouldn't worry about nothing!

Thanks for your comment.was researching on reasons for delays on Canada visa forum and came across the story.

Pls where did you have your medicals done?am about to book n IOM is closer to me but I wud rather go with the one most of us here have used

Guys I was reading on canadavisa forum that during medicals the doctors asked a 4yr old some questions and the child dint respond and it prolonged the medicals of the family as IRCC requested for subsequent evaluations for the child.

Am asking because my 3 year old is quite timid, she won't talk to someone she doesn't rily know except she's in a very jovial mood. Ve bin trying to get her out of her shell against our upcoming medicals but my madam can't just be bothered

Pls those that have done medicals for their kids of around age 3/4yrs old what was the experience like.what is expected of the kids?

Any news/idea of when Ontario will reopen?

Pls does anyone have details on how Ontario runs its NOI cycle? Do they pick people from the pool at random times or is their a particular period when they select those who have over 400 from the pool.am just wondering as I vnt seen anyone mention receiving a NOI recently on this forum.

Also from my research it appears Ontario is strictly based on receiving an NOI and not waiting on them to ask people to apply like other provinces do.pls can anyone confirm this?

Not true, adding a spouse deducts 30pts which the spouse would have to claim back by writing ielts ..20pts ECA ..10pts. So adding her spouse will in no way improve her points significantly if she remains the principal applicant.
My advice....rewrite ielts or chill for Ontario

@adiahabasi

pls can you enlighten me?
i have been reading through previous posts and on several occasions i have seen how increase in ielts scores has upgraded scores significantly from as low as 415 to 472 and other similar cases like that.but in my case you and someone else mentioned an increase in my ielts scores can only fetch me bout 9 extra CRS points. is their any reason its not more than 9 considering other cases i have seen on this platform where a score increase has resulted in much higher CRS points.

I would realy appreciate your input. i am willing to rewrite but 9points would just move me from my current 421 to 430 which is stil low and doesnt seem to be worth a another 68k which is a lot for me right now
You lost 9 points in language cos of the L,R,W. You get max point if you get atleast 8.5,8.0&7.5 respectively. If you ask me,I

Many thanks for your insights. I appreciate.

No need for rewrite. You already have max points there. The ooints will come from ur spouse as u stated u r married.

Thanks a lot for the response.spouse isn't interested so it's just me and the kids for now.I have 127points for language in the pool now.is that the maximum points for language?also does that mean a rewrite might not make a significant boost?

Yes brother. You can choose to re-write IELTS or wait for another opening for Ontario nomination or wait and see if the points will go down to Favour you. But mind you, Ontario nomination application fee is around 1,500Cad which is way more than 300,000Naira.

Infact that's one of the major reason I don't have the 68k.I am POF and application fee prepared so no extras to throw around.thanks a lot for the mention!

thanks bro....am just confused, i was so sure it cud be around 430 or so.guess i shud rewrite ielts but wud just hope ontario nomination opens up soon.68k isnt just accessible to me now.

Hi.

Pls can any one refer an efficient immigration lawyer in any of these provinces that can help one secure a job in these desired work streams needed in this provinces such as IT in new brunswick. its worth using a lawyer even if its for just this phase alone of getting a valid job offer.Looking at the POF requirement for this AIPP the reduction is so much compared to POF requirement in EE. Cashing in on the POF reduction is another major incentive this program offers, using an immigration lawyer that's based there and knows the relative AIPP employers won't be a bad idea rather than going on a wild goose chase while the inlanders are swiftly filling in the 2000 allocated slots.

I completely get you michV.Thanks for the considerations.

I presume it would show some employment credibility of some sort.it might just present a stronger application profile no matter how little.

I saw this on there website just now.apparently there's provision for such an update under paper application for a student visa. Incase anyone ever finds themselves in this position. Pls see link too.

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=Accra&_ga=1.33976225.1068229714.1465507583

quote author=michV post=51923172]ok,i wondered why you could have made such mistake. Meanwhile, according to CIC, it says employment/activity which is meant to cover any idle gap/period.should i say your situation falls under ''activity''?? a passionate VO may definitely buy your idea while also i have seen on this platform during our season when an applicant has one year gap unexplained and still got his TRV approved. so atimes it is not always what we think but just the VO discretion in ascertaining the individual's case/situation. the necessity of this new employment offer i see of no impact to this application but if your mind tells you do,go ahead but many questions surround what you are about to do.

i want to get your thought, what are you trying to prove to any reviewer about this new offer of employment? if this offer was dated those period of gaps and you never gave such explanations stated above,i would say add it but i just don't get your ideas.

moniker @nelly28 i observe you
Thx michV.

Sorry. Meant to type Jan 1st n not Dec.offer is still calid .

I ve been employed since uni graduation in 2007 til last yr 2015,I submitted letters from al past employers to this effect.I explained the gap between 2015 and now was because I wanted to spend more time with my baby which would not have been possible with the nature of my my job then which required a lot of short interval traveling in and outside d country...my resume also supported this.n that my plan was to spend more time with her til she was more mature then embark on my next career goal which was to obtain a masters degree.I realize that there r other was I cud be explained this gap but I wud rather be denied than submit a false status.

I know I once saw provision on the CIC website for one to submit additional document if ones status changes but I can't remember in what circumstances that applied to.any one with more relative Info's pls do comment.thanks a lot.

michV:
before i come out with deep thought lemme shallowly say my mind. you applied with an offer letter which i may say the offer has expired since resumption is Dec 1st and you applied on the 6th of dec, madame, you were in haste if i understood your above write-up well. secondly in your CIC froms, how the did you cater the gaps? the current offer of employment you got now cant play role in those period before you applied,so i see not the necessity forwarding it to CIC. more input required cos this matter needs clear eyes.
