Mightyhaiz:There are many more "Sunday Igbohos" where he comes from. |
Good!!! At least, that's one fulani criminal who, "when he hears yorubas beating the drums of war", wouldn't go back to sleep but rather takes to his heels. |
Dem neva born their mama |
Godoverevery:There's no difference between the two, jo! The ex-seriki of igangan was officially the leader of fulani cattle rearers in the Ibarapa area whilst at the same time he doubles as negotiator between bandits and victim's families. |
Godoverevery:Omo abeg, that your "we yoruba....." bs is D.O.A as no one here is that gullible. "By their utterances, so shall they be known". The narratives you have been trying to push here on this platform sure doesn't portray you as a southerner, never mind, a yoruba. Should yorubas wait until the whole southwest is turned into bornu where 23 out of 27 Lgs are under the jurisdiction of one fulani bandit group or the other before we ask these marauding "locusts" to vacate our ancestral land? "Beating drums of war"? The ones that are destroying our farmlands, investments, livelihoods and economic independence with their cows, illegally occupying our forests, kidnapping us for ransoms on our highways, raping our mothers (etc), wantonly butchering our brothers, sons (etc) in their homes; what kind of drums are they beating? Love and Peace, i guess. state |
Godoverevery:There's state sponsored terrorism going on in nigeria. The FULANI govt of nigeria is openly aiding and abetting the insurgency in the country. They embolden the bandits whilst at the same time, downplaying the actual security level to the masses. So, if you kill the bandits, you will indirectly be fighting the federal might. Some of the seriki fulani of igangan's men, who vacated Ibarapa forest on Igboho's ultimatum were seen escorted to the Yewa Lg area of Ogun state by nigerian soldiers. The villagers who openly and rightly objected to the herdsmen presence in their farmlands were brutalised and dehumanised by the soldiers and eventually forced the killer herdsmen on the poor and defenceless villagers. |
alasane:[i] If you have nothing constructive to add to the thread, just STFU. |
Godoverevery:But the southwest is under siege currently by FULANI bandits. |
Leadership? indeed!!! And who the hell is Oshinbajo, leading? Certainly not yorubas or even nigerians as a whole. In nigeria, everything is "upside down" else how does one confer the title of "leader" on an individual who turns blind, deaf and dumb to the plight of his own people. A leader who looks the other way as his own ethnic group are being decimated on their ancestral land by his boss's nonchalant body language towards the issue of insecurity pervading the country? Abeg, Oshinbajo is not a yoruba leader simply 'cause he served as a VP. How does his VPship position improve the life of his people? How does his VPship post stops his people from been slaughtered in their farms and homes with impunity by his boss's kinsmen? I, as a core yoruba man, do not consider Oshinbajo as my leader. |
Beremx:And why is that notion such a surprise to you if you are as discerning as you would want us to believe, about nigerian politics. Fyi, the fulanis permeate all our arms of govt including the security forces. why else do you think our soldiers are always getting ambushed by boko haram terrorists and other insurgents? This was going on, long before the govt. even embarked on their dumb policy they called, "operation safe corridor" where, ostensible "repentant terrorists" are infused into our security apparatus whilst others are "rewarded" with huge sums of mon ey and set up in business. ALL southern governors have miyete allah's representatives in attendance whenever they hold security meetings concerning their region who duly report back to their fulani cabal. |
kechywillz:Being a veteran on this forum, i have also learnt to ignore these asinine comments from my ibo brothers but at times, when they inundates a thread such as this with the same old tales, it only makes me, smh. The bottomline is thus; protect your ancestral land else the same deception the "barbarians" from futa jallon utilised to subjugate the hausas states and occupy Ilorin (in kwara state) is currently been used to decimate the Kanuris in the northeast whilst the southern part of the country is under siege from the same fulani cells, be it, bandits, kidnappers, herdsmen, boko haram, ISIS, ISWAP etc. |
saaron:The bolded above, is the stark difference between Amotekun and ESN. Less than a month ago, Amotekun confronted some "bandits" in the forest of ondo and in the ensuing battle, killed 7 of them and captured 46! Only for us to be told that these guys are not bandits but miyeth allah's vigilante group..............with the objective of making the area safe. This is to say, a fulani vigilante group, securing yorubaland from (fulani) bandits without the knowledge of the political class or the community elders! Consequently, they were all released from detention , a few days later. They have since then agreed to incorporate these unknown vigilantes into Amotekun. smh for my people. |
daclemx:The same reason why the Alafin of oyo was silent about the atrocities going in Ibarapa, oyo state The same reason why Aketi back-peddled on his earlier ultimatum to fulani headsmen in ondo state. The reason is simple and not so far-fetched; self-preservation. Our so-called traditional and political leaders don't really give a sh...it about us, as long as they and their extended family members are settled, financially. They are aware, the nation will soon implode and as such, they want to siphon as much of our collective wealth as they can, before the whole country goes belly up. Nigeria is broke and its just a matter of time before it goes into "liquidation". Just as an example: do you know, the seriki of Igangan who had been tormenting the people of Ibarapa area for almost 2 decades was also the kidnappers intermediary and an appointee of the same Alafin of oyo? One of the herdsmen that left igangan following Chief sunday Igboho's quit order was found in yewa village in ogun state. The villagers, having heard what transpired between the seriki and the people of igangan refused to allow him stay in their village. The herdsmen were 3 in number and their leader, one scrawny-looking guy said, they had the alafin's blessing to relocate in the village. Lo and behold, the man then made a call to the alafin. Same way the seriki have a direct line to the IGP, in abuja! |
oilyngbati:Geez! Are you truly, igbo? Sorry, my question is not supposed to be an insult on your person rather i was so moved by your unique post that i just have to respond. It eschews maturity, critical analysis, sincerity and foresight which has been missing from all the posts from our ibo brothers, on this thread. Rather, all they do is laugh and goad us and wish worse calamities befall us whilst conveniently ignoring that the same fate is currently going on in their homelands. Am yoruba to the core and whilst i may not like Kanu, simply because of some of his utterances towards my ethnic group but I wholeheartedly support his ESN initiative. In fact, much more than our Amotekun which has now been rendered toothless by our ambitious, self-serving and myopic political leaders. The country is about to implode and i believe the ibos are more ready for this occasion through the ESN than we yorubas but recent events with the instrumentality of social media has woken up quite a few of them. These fulanis are on a mission of conquestand aim't gonna stop until they reach a "brick wall". |
lakefist:It was an ongoing situation (in the beere area of oyo state) that eventually culminated in recent incident. Eyewitness accounts collaborates the reports whilst victims also narrates their losses. Please, if you can, watch the video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpDzPu6i0GY&t=1459s |
valenu:Of course, they have nothing positive to offer any community. Their historical background attest to this. They are like an army of locusts destroying everything in its wake. |
valenu:Much as it pains me to my bone marrow but i have to agree with you. Truly, the Fulanis owns Nigeria and they have done since independence of this false union. However, i rest in the knowledge that "push " has now come to "shove". It's either the fulanis physically take over the whole country or................................. |
Ofemannnu:Abeg, tell dem make dem hear.............there 're many more "igbohos" in yorubaland. Just one igboho and the sleeping, bleeding mannequin immediately change his inept service chiefs. |
1nigeriamyfoot:If truth be told, Igangan was until 2 days ago, another "Ilorin" which our political and traditional leaders have been under-playing solely for their financial and political gains. The seriki fulani has more influence and power in Igangan than the indigenous oba. In FACT, he runs the show in Igangan. His palace in Igangan dwarfs the oba's, in every form of indices He owns cows too and have been implicated in many instances where his cows have destroyed indigenous' farmlands. He also runs (farmlands) protection racket in Igangan and the environs. There was also this recent case (about 2-3 weeks ago), of the phd holder who, after working decades in germany decided to return back to his ancestral land to start farming. Unfortunately for him, this is Igangan. Of course, this same seriki fulani unleashed his cows on the man's farmland destroying his investment. When the farmer decided to go and dialogue with the seriki, He was held captive and after collecting 2m naira ransom from his aging parents, still went ahead to butcher him. |
Fahdiga:Your warped opinion but am sure the people of Ibarapa will beg to differ. |

olawalepopoola:Oyo o se bi baba enikan! |
Muna4real:Probably because they are ANIMALS. Only animals resides gleefully in the forests. It's their natural habitat. |
Misterone:Chill, watch this space................. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjx3MddzCt8&pbjreload=101 |
Charmingrascal:This is the same way Afonja parleyed with the fulani man called alimi before the latter turned round to betray afonja and usurp his domain. This is the same tactics the fulanis utilised to over-run hausaland starting from gobiri now known as sokoto. Now, their sultan reigns over hausaland. They tried it inn the old kanem-bornu empire untiil the kanuris mobilised themselves before driving the fulanis away. |
Charmingrascal:Gani adams was made the Are Ona Kankanfo by the Alafin of oyo and as such he, Gani can not start anything without the go-ahead from his boss, the Alafin. Unfortunately, the Alafin himself is complicit in the heightened level of insecurity in yoruband (in conjunction with some monarchs and top politicians from the SW). as most of those cows destroying farmland are owned by them and the herdsmen are in their employment. |
myright:And where in my statement, you quoted, did i insult Ibos/ipob? You just want my attention and now that you've got it, can you please, phock off my mention. I no get ur time. My main focus is the territorial integrity of my ancestral land. |

how many are they that will occupy land.
