The North annexed the whole Western region and you cowards couldn't do anything about it, even the then military governor of the Western region Colonel Adebayo admitted Yorubas were too weak and scared to challenge the North who were in control of their region, no wonder a whole Dodan barracks in Lagos was under the control of Northern solders including the capital of Western region, Ibadan SMH ... a whole high ranking officer like Brigadier Ogundipe who was supposed to be next in command to Ironsi fled rather than stand up to his junior officers from the North. The mere fact that Maj. Donatous Okafor was among the ring leaders of the coup put paid to their lies. The same Okafor was found guilty by the Army Legal Officer, Chief Arthur Worrey of stealing his subordinates’ funds. The Federal Guards held a monthly raffle draw and social nights (Wassa). The proceeds from ticket sales and lucky dips were recorded in Army Book 64 and saved in the PRI (President of Regimental Institute) account. For months, false figures were recorded as Okafor was stealing this money and giving a fraction as hush money to the treasurer Corporal Magaji Birnin Kebbi, a NCO in his fifties. NCNC had equal rights as NPC. Ministerial positions and other positions were shared.

NCNC produced president and senate president while, NPC produced prime minister. The same can't be said about NNDP.
