HazzanTazzan: Lol... And u only saw this post and left others...
And you didn't read the posts where I said one of my freelancers receive payment via gift cards from the client he's working for ? If that happens with this my guy, and some other freelancers too how is it 100% from yahoo boys?
U already got the point I was driving at but still twisting my words...
Just Negodu...
Whatever you like, you can believe in your mind... My point is a very high percentage of gift cards are from yahoo boys and this doesn't make the trading of gift cards fraudulent cos those little percentage of people who get it legitimately too have their rights to sell their earning ...
If anyone isn't ready to bear a risk on gift cards, they shld stay away... @Bolded, you have a valid point |

descrisom: Tabbaz... What's it gan gan ?
Shey buyers don't know that it is risky before ni you dey price 240/$?
What about iTunes? That you load them and apple disable account. Does that means we should all come here and be holding the sellers responsible? Do not talk like you have hatred...
Gift cards is like you are dealing with GnS paypal...
Let them deal with the pains if the deal comes out bad .
They knows where to get original fund if they needed it..
But they eye 240/$ instead of 360/$ and you expect no risk?
That means everybody is a thief. Both direct owner and buyer. Only middleman is free.. 1. Why should I hate gift card traders? they snatched my wife? 2. Knowledgeable people already enlighten us on this thread that gift cards cheap rate does not mean it's from fraudulent sources. We were told that's how it's sold everywhere in the world and what control the price is demand and supply 3. It's good you compare gns PayPal with gift card. We have listed people on scammers list here (e.g Blym4real, one of the oldest members of this thread and this forum) because of charge back gns fund. So, it means gift card sellers are also responsible if amazon block their sold card on client's account with a note that the card is bad/invalid. Lastly, if more than 90% of a particular fund is from fraudulent sources, it's better to ban it trading (note: I don't know what percentage of gift cards is from fraudulent sources, and that's why I only follow what gift card sellers explained) |

The risk of FF is worse.
People should stick to gns and save both buyer and seller headache. How? We have been made to believe that fnf is safer and practically on this thread, we only usually have gns charge back |

What's next
Whenever I'm called to mediate in a gift card case, sellers always insist that the card card is cheap because it's from yahoo boys blablabla and the buyer should know the risk the moment he was asked to pay less than 300/$.
However, when it becomes regular language and I brought up idea of banning it, they began another campaign that not all cards are from yahoo boys.
To this end, I will suggest that if the card trade should continue, sellers must stop telling us the old story anytime they have a case. They should be 100% responsible for any bad card and other similar cases against them .

Point of notice
Mr. A defraud others and bring in the fund in form of gift card.
Mr B break the rule of a country by facilitating currency transfer without a licence
While Mr A is clearly a thief, Mr B. is never and can never be called a thief. He is just a rule breaker.
Our effort on this forum is to minimize to a greater extent fraudulent activities not to take the role of Government

Let's go by your logic. Why are you facilitating fund transfer too despite not having license? When we attack gift card because you guys get it from yahoo boys, your only way out is to attack other e-currencies. Why don't you defend gift card instead of attacking other ecurrencies. Smh I'm surprised at this type of comparison. I'm I telling you that all types of deal in which some people use for fraud should be banned? You are the one that told us that 100% of agc is from yahoo boys. I think you need to check your conscience if you know that a commodity is stolen and you still go ahead and purchase it because it's cheap. Western Union should be banned, so that 95% of legitimate users won't have access to it? I think you should check what you type again and correct your error. # BanGiftCard |

segabio66: This is actually right! But he sent money to me to pay the guy before even confirming payment in his own paypal account. He has much more of the mistakes. And he is trying to free himself of the debts afterall Truth is bitter, but I think you carry part of the blame by not verifying your source. However, drey22 also carry part of the blame by not notifying you that the fund is on hold. Let me open this in the public. I sold PayPal as a middle recently and it was charged back but I bear zero responsibility. Here's the reason I insisted that my client should check if the fund is cleared (he told me it's cleared without checking his account to be sure) and I told him how risky gns is before sending to him. He accepted my terms and I sent (as a middle man). Though, the seller happened to be a freelancer and it was a payment from his client which was charged back by PayPal not the sender. The oyinbo later opted to pay the freelancer via agc and we have gotten the usd equivalent. NoteI bought from a reliable person and that's why I was able to get back the fund even after charge back |

I can actually call us business partners cos he msg me when he need funds. Drey22 ought to have checked the fund and you are supposed to verify sources too. Also, you should have brought up the case tagging it misunderstanding instead of calling him scammer. We learn everyday, so both should take note for next time sake. Nevertheless, I will suggest that both should go back to WhatsApp and try to reach a middle ground on this matter. If still not resolvable, you may come back here for opinions |

drey22: Here is my account of the whole event, on the 4th of December, I requested for funds from the accuser in the person of Abioye Segun, I always withdraw funds and seldomly buy fnf funds(due to the issue of stolen or unclean fnf funds) from him if he assures its from a good source. He brought the said $280 and sent to the receiving PayPal account which belongs to my sister, I sent money for the $280 to him because of trust and all. I was to meet up with a church program on this said day and got very busy till the next day. I wokeup running late to attend a service and needed funds to pay up an eBay bid I won so I contacted him again for $300 but he was only able to get $283 for me, I chatted up my sis only to get her message that the previous $280 was refunded. Then I messaged him to ask what's going on, he assured me he will get the funds back and then I was relieved that I will wait to get it back but till now I haven't gotten the refund and the guy he got the funds from is not responding or so, I have offered multiple solutions to how to get this resolved even giving him a higher rates of over 15naira more, also informed him will see what I can do by Monday but its so unfortunate this whole thing got to the point of labelling me a SCAMMER which not only is defamatory but derogatory.
My Questions therefore are? 1. Was I the one that brought the refunded funds? 2. Why tell me you got funds for 323 wen u got it 315? 3. I'm I supposed to pay for the money that was refunded? 4. Won't I come after you to get my $280 that was paid for? 5. How I'm I supposed to know you don't know the person that brought funds to you? 6. Who should we be after? 7. Who did I pay naira to?
So many questions to be asked but I will like the above to be answered first before we proceed From the screenshot, I noticed you told him to send as fnf and I think fnf can't be refunded. If these are true, I think you have won the case to a greater extent . Unless if he can proof he sent as fnf and that fnf also can be refunded. |
