Hello Bella I hope this email doesn’t disgust you, but I need to talk to someone about it, it happened that one day I didn’t know I was on my period, my boyfriend and I had sex, I enjoyed it much more than usual it was when he removed his penis that we realized the sheet was stained and his manhood covered in blood. He was angry at first but when I told him I wasn’t aware he forgive me , now I know my period is almost close and I want to try it again without his knowledge, I can’t get the feeling of the last time out of my mind, I have been waiting for this day. I read one of the post about a girl that used cotton wool, maybe that will work, but it will stop the blood from flowing and making that place slippery, please advise me thank you. Talk2Bella. It is not a new thing that some women get hornier during their periods; some women enjoy having sex during this time so there’s nothing disgusting about your email. There are so many myths surrounding having sex during your period here in Africa that I would implore you to discuss this with your partner before allowing him have sex with you during your period. If you and your partner don’t use condoms, make sure you understand the risks of STIs, other infections, and pregnancy even during your period. Having sex during one’s period isn’t as dirty and yucky as many people think, sometimes it can be healthy for women, helps reduce menstrual cramps and all, but this has to be an understanding you have with your sexual partner please do not do it without his knowledge as it is a taboo for some men. here in Africa. http://www.talk2bella.com/2016/10/i-enjoy-sex-during-my-period.html |

Am no longer in love with my boyfriend and I don't know how to tell him that to his face. He's not doing things that give me courage. I see him as lazy and not working hard enough. Please help me Talk2Bella. There are several ways you can break up with someone, but the attitude in which we carry out this act is what makes any breakup easy. Why do you think he’s lazy? There’s a huge difference between someone being lazy and things not working out for them yet, does he sit at home all day and do nothing? No matter how you see someone, you can’ tell how hard enough they are working to better their lives. He doesn’t give you enough courage, well sweetheart you already see him as being lazy, no matter how much he might try to encourage you, you’d never take him serious because you already see him as being beneath you. Letting him go now might not be the best way, you might just loose a diamond in the rough because of your impatience, why not try to encourage him, build him, stand by him, give him courage and watch him become the man you want, this is no easy task but with a little more love and patience I believe things might work out. Try it this way first, and see how it goes; remember see him as a human being first, then as a man second, then as your lover and accord him the respect he deserves. http://www.talk2bella.com/2016/10/im-no-longer-in-love-with-my-boyfriend.html |

Hi Bella I need some advice. We didn’t really date for long before I found out he’s a cheat and a liar but I was already in love and decided to turn a blind eye until he started acting real funny, ignoring my calls, won’t send me messages for days, always snapped at me and so on. I was really patient and all but when I saw where the whole thing was leading to I decided to take a walk and save myself some shame, after all I did see the signs and I decided to ignore it. Recently we started talking again and he tells me how much he misses me and all, how he made a mistake and should never have let me go, that he was facing some issues then and needed the space, now he wants us to work things over, another chance to get to know him. I am scared, he hurt me more than I let on here, I was devastated for weeks, would cry myself to sleep always till I was able to get over him and now he’s back and I can’t stop myself from not giving him a chance, do you think this would be like before? Talk2Bella. Thanks for opening up. You see, Dating and being in a Love bound relationship are two different things and most times, people wrongly interchange them and feel they are the same, but truthfully, they are not and I can point out u skipped the part where you were supposed to get to know each other and went to fall in love blindly due to reasons best known to you. Love doesn't happen overnight, it takes a lot of effort and actions, not feelings, for it to be established correctly. Due to the course of you two dating, you observed that he was a cheat and a liar, that alone should have made you to understand he isn't the right man for you. Someone who cheats is more likely than not to cheat a second time, and a third, and a fourth, irrespective of how sorry they are during their cry for another chance. I advise you ask yourself what you really want in a relationship. From what I gathered in your post, it seems you like the attention from your partner and where that Is lacking, would really bring friction in your relationship so I suggest you find someone else who shares same passion and reasoning with you and pitch your tent there. Please don't allow feelings to cloud your sense of judgment rather, stay on top of your game and be in charge of your happiness. I believe other viewers would have some comments to pitch in which will go a long way in strengthening you to make the right decision.
