I got a mail from one of my web domain registrar that 2nd level .ng web domain(e.g. Bi.ng, goi.ng e.t.c) will be opened again for registration for lesser price as from Tuesday, April 16th 2013 at the rate of N14,850 per domain name.
They also explained that some certain domain name are classified as "premium domain" which cost nothing less than 3Million Naira annually.

Why make life hard for themselves? and who cares if it cost 30 million naira?
A friend of mine once told me that we Nigerians are not only trying to steal part of their money but everything they own.

Some valuable domain extension like .me, .tv are far much lower in price than the .ng.
I still register a .tv for N1600 last February.

Will you pay 3Million naira to own a domain name like buy.ng?

B4 we were totally blinded to information and resources. To use the internet is not really cheap in Nigeria.
How do you expect ppl to come across information that will ignite interest that then lead to passion.

Our educational institutions are just rat-racing students. All they want is a good Job(8am-4pm).
The lecturers only listen to radio and read newspapers.

I'm proud to see Nigerians now occupying the internet thru blogging. Surely one thing will lead to another and no knowledge gain is a waste. You just have to be creative.

mr swagger: @talkD, I dnt think so.. Because my sister sends package frequently to USA through Nipost and it gets there at exactly 7 working days.

She even sent a package to Austria just last year december and it got to Austria at exactly d same 7 working days as well. Nipost is nw becoming reliable.

Jst try to pay for registered mail if possible so u track ur documents and feel safe. Maybe u didn't write the address correctly dt was why it was difficult for them to deliver ur package.

Because two different post office can't make d same mistake at d same time. So the mistake came directly from u bro. Cheers bro.

I doubt that Nipost is really reliable.
I sent a package since Feb. 13 and it is still in Lagos.
Last year Nov., i use EMS; it was the same thing.It delivered after 1month.

Pls use Fedex or Ups.
