I agree with havilla there, they are capable of love but only for men they respect and have admiration(feelings) for, and you will know by her quiet, submissive, teachable nature.

In cases, women respect you without loving you has to do with the position of authority such man holds in that area, and if care is not taken, it can transform to love (depending on the looks of the man and his character).
And this same position of authority is given to the husband in marriage as the head, so if as a man, no sign of being submissive is shown to you in marriage, then no respect and no love.
