Also note that even Fashola is displeased with the work rate and as at today only 4 out of 11 terminals have been completed in phase one-25KM. Simple arithmetic will show you how many valuable project manhours have been expended to accomplish so little.
What gave you away is comparing construction of 2nd Niger bridge to Lekki Ikoyi Bridge. Compare terrian, strength of materials- suspensions and beams needed etc for both project before you quote me again.
That you the ignoramus feel you can give me a lecture on facility construction is baffling as passing through Eko bridge and seeing what we all know as cosmetics feeds your delusion.
I get tired of arguing with these people sometimes because its so obvious they lack basic knowledge in the fields they make so much noise about online but many atimes, I just humor them so they can feel good
PhonesONGOING Windows 10 Trials On Xiaomi Mi4 Smartphones by talktimi(op): 4:04pm On Mar 18, 2015
Ramping up towards the official launch of Windows 10 later this year, Microsoft has made an official statement about testing Windows 10 on Xiaomi smartphones, specifically, the Mi4. The statement reads:

Through a new program with Xiaomi, one of the top smartphone distributors in the world, a select group of Xiaomi Mi 4 power users will be invited to help test Windows 10 and contribute to its future release later this year. These power users will have the opportunity to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview – installing it and providing their feedback to Microsoft.

This is interesting news. There are rumours that this is beyond just running and testing Windows 10 on Android devices, but that Microsoft has actually come up with a way to convert Android smartphones to Windows 10. If that is true, one can only imagine the full implications.

But for now, all that we have is what Microsoft has said officially. We will bring you more details as we receive updates

Buhari

The presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, has said he cancelled the proposed Lagos metro rail line project that was initiated by the government of Alhaji Lateef Jakande because he did not want to take more loans or devalue the naira.

The Lagos metro rail line was designed by the Jakande government to facilitate transportation within Lagos and surroundings but was terminated when Buhari military regime took over in December, I983.

Buhari, while speaking in Lagos on Wednesday at the presentation of his party manifesto, said when he got into power, the relatively stable economy, which was handed over to the government of Alhaji Shehu Shagari, had been badly plundered and corruption was rife in every sector. He added that the rail line project was meant to cost N100m, which was a large sum of money then, and the Federal Government was asked to guarantee the loan meant for the project.

He said, “Then, we didn’t know how much debt was on us as a nation and we felt that we should not add another N100m to it. I had to set up two committees to assess how much we owed and we promised not to take more loans or to devalue the naira but to develop the economy.”

Buhari argued that tagging him an enemy of Lagos State because he cancelled that project was mischievous and unfair, stating that the first one billion naira he spent when he was heading Petroleum Trust Fund was on Victoria Island and Ikoyi waterworks in Lagos.

Earlier, in Ikoyi, while meeting with the youth Buhari told them it was important to vote wisely as their choice will affect their generations more than his.

His running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare, who presented the party manifesto, said God raised Buhari for Nigeria. Bakare said that within the first 100 days in office, Nigerians would begin to feel their impact. He said their party symbol was a pen because they would use it to rewrite the history of Nigeria and that after their tenure, there would be no more military intervention in Nigeria forever.

“We will begin by initiating action with the legislature so that true federalism can be entrenched in Nigeria at all levels. We call our country Federal Republic of Nigeria but we are neither a federation nor a republic. We have a lopsided government where everything reflects round the centre but we will push for true federalism in which we will have strong local governments, strong states and strong Federal Government. We will address our crippling economy by bringing in the best brains both at home and abroad. For too long, we have left politics and governance to the clueless but we want to attract the best and brightest to our government.”

Bakare also said they would be working with the legislature to expunge the immunity clause that shields the public officers from prosecution. On issues of security, Bakare said that they would be have both state and community policing system with laws put in place to prevent their abuse by power drunk tyrants.

The former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, said since they left office in 2007, the nation’s wealth had been plundered.
you're a v very wicked and heartless person. How dare you expose pa Buhari's yansh like this when people are supposed to have forgotten that he cancelled the project ?

You've never trusted Buhari even he was alone in the CPC. So drop your cry that you don't trust him because of those he surrounds himself with. Why do you've problem with getting close to, say, Tinubu, but see no problem with Jonathan being with Bode George? The problem with you PDP supporters is hypocricy, getting concerned with things that are not your business and self deceit. On Sunday Okupe was complaining why the APC didn't elect Atiku or Kwankwoso in their primary election.
I had a better candidate in 2011 (Babangida) since he didn't contest again, there was no need for me to vote again meanwhile your boy Buhari enmeshes himself in a hyper contradiction by claiming he wants to fight corruption and yet hanging out with hopelessly corrupt individuals who would undoubtedly have a major (corrupt) say in his government if Buhari should win the elections. Next, I don't like it when people insult my intelligence by saying in a country of 170 million people, Buhari is the only person who can rule us. That is sheer stüpidity

Ps ; Buhari still hasn't apologized for the post election violence of 2011 which were sparked by his utterances. It is on record that CPC agents went round police stations in flash point areas to effect the release of those arrested in connection with the violence and the CPC openly supported the killing of youth corp members saying they were IT experts hired by the PDP. I don't like callous people

is an open secret known to many within security circle that Funsho William was murdered because as the chairman of the then NMA(Nigerian maritime authority) he uncovered a shody deal by then minister of transport Abiye Sekibo. to be precise he was murdered by some ND militant but under the supervision of an army major who was also an accomplice to the minister, that was why the minister was sacked by obj and the major compulsorily retired from the army

in a nutshell Funshos dead has nothing to do with politics .
that name is synonymous with bloodshed and makes plausible your theory concerning Funso Williams death though events at the time suggests it was a political action with regards to the elections then. Can you please expatiate

I am very aware of the design and operability of any major facility construction and can categorically tell you that a 57Km rail takes maximum 36 months for commissioning and a lot less than the 160 billion the LSG has disbursed so far.
For your information the vision is flawed as it is way past it's expected delivery date and obviously cannot be completed in the next 6 months, the idea of conveying 400,000 people daily is ludicrous to be candid. How many people ply that route on a daily basis? What is the population of people in Lagos? What is the population of people in Nigeria? Which bureau cooked up such statistics?
Also note that light rail project is the most expensive of it's class in the world and it has not been completed!
Not one citizenry development or people oriented project commissioned in Lagos since 1999 and you say Lagosians want continuity?
Lagosians are tired of poor governance and massive looting of public funds hence it is high time Lagos is ruled by Lagosians.
Which is why Agbaje and Abdulkarim's time is now!
What other combination beats a successful businessman and an educationist?
you forgot that the coaches bought by our guy man governor are fairly used (30yrs+/-), Nigeria s railway system has a 25yr master plan and that Lagos is bigger than Nigeria hence Fashola s progress there is more significant cool

So many thugs and touts in Portharcourt. To evade their foolishness, they had to do what they'd just done. Jonathan secured almost 98% of the total votes cast in Rivers in 2011, and today, his votes is about reducing to 60% in the same Rivers. Can you then say he's progressing or retrogressing? Buhari doesn't need to win Rivers before he's made the President, he just has to secure a reasonable number of votes from there.

His bloc votes in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Lagos and other states are enough for him!
who are the thugs and touts in rivers state ? You better concentrate on your Edo and stop insulting Rivers people in the name of politics, its getting out of hand with you
