punisha: Wow!
This is some great trash sir!
Your findings r totally wrong. Akwa ibom girls can beg the most. "Come and buy for me" is their slogan.
The ladies u see riding bikes to farm are mostly elderly ladies with families to take care of and not the slay queens. Blame not Patriarchy for this. Blame your country! Men die earlier in Nigeria because they have to fend and fight for their families to survive naturally being the stronger ones. It is actually a curse! The government never made it easy for anyone.
Now as a young lady imagine a society that before u r done with high school, colleges are waiting to receive your application and companies are waiting to take u up as soon as you are done with college, simply because of your good grades and not favouritism. U receive a fair chance as a man does. You get to be picked cos you qualified and not told its a mans job. U don't lobby to get a regular job because the government owes it to you that you are properly placed. U can afford to buy your car and house (loan) before u hit 23 and no man is asking u to spread leg before he pays house rent for u. The government twisted it all for us! Those women developed survival instincts too so they have to beg from the stronger gender to survive and most times go through hell in men's hand to get what they want. Outta 100 ladies 80 are waiting to settle down to a well to do man. 20 are the okonjo iwealas. The society ridiculed them. They have more to offer. I know some ladies who were brilliant in school then 30 years later they never made it past house wives, but they were unbeaten in school.
Go out with a girl in Europe and u find out that splitting bills is normal. In Nigeria, its a mans entitlement and got nothing to do with patriarchy. The ladies are empowered. Everyone stands equal.
Your shit hole country still doesn't take girl child education seriously. They think its a waste to spend on a girl. Why won't the men individually prey on them as they have been displaced in the society?
Wanted to ignore u, but then it had to be said! Blame your government and society. It brought this upon everyone. Begging is different from begging, there are levels to it |

Romance › I Think I Have Understood Why Women Are Always Demanding Money From Guys by talktrue1234(op): 5:38am On Nov 19, 2020 |
Just like every other guys, I have had my own several shares of the "begging girls", girls that can go an extra mile to collect the money you have in your bank account.
It is just mad, every time I think of it, I feel very bad, what piss me off is not the money wasted but that I fell for cheap tactics, so I decided to give it a thought on what is happening.
After looking at our society, I came to conclusion that Nigerian girls, even African girls in general were mostly brought up in a mostly patriarchy society, their mothers, people they listen to or look up to as a woman, are probably married to patriarchs, and they have to live in a family where they have little to no right to decide and make decisions of their own.
This situation I believe make them turn to cheap tactics and their cunny ways to get what they want, this same habit is the same they pass to other ladies. They are taught to see men as people they don't have power over, but can only exploit.
That is African girls were trained either by the society or their mothers to exploit patriarchy, in some ways or the other.
If you look at some society that have a culture that allow married women to work, you will realize that women from there don't act like beggers, I am a Yoruba guy and I have been to Akwa-Ibom and Portharcourt, I can beat my chest that ladies from Akwa-Ibom (at least those that I met then) don't beg like Yoruba girls do, I noticed girls from that side would rather do runs than depend on guys. And if you look at Akwa-Ibom culture you will notice that the women work very well, in fact during my short stay, I notice they have more women farmers over there, early in the morning you will see them riding their bicycle going to the farm(I love Akwa-Ibom ladies, even God knows).
I don't mean to ridicule any gender, but if you are a girl and you disagree with my inputs, only comment if your phone or laptop your are replying with was bought with your own money alone. |

yarimo: shaataap but it is not confusion and not democracy when OBASEKI defected to PDP Obaseki's case is still the same nonsense that should not be tolerated in a society that has reasonable people. The problem is actually the fact that in this country we have people that are unimaginably foolish, but will be going around shouting they are smart, that is why we can't vote in a reasonable person! With the birth of this academy, every butchered cow would be taxed. And this in return would increase the price of meat to consumers.
With the way this country is going if things continue like this by 2023 food would be like gold. Cos the common man won't be able to afford it Stop bringing negativity to every development please!!! It is like all of you just like bad news. The only thing you want to see from the headline is bad news about Nigeria, why? ah ah, come on South Africa has what they are talking about. This will even reduce food wastage, and assist the government to even collate data, if this come to fruition, the government will know the approximate amount of meat consumed by it's the people over a period of time, this will also assist in making future decision, if ranch is necessary or not. |

flokii: Yoruba ronu!
South West literally sustains Nigeria's economy. Remove SW and see what will be left if you doubt.
South South gets and is still getting a huge chunk of allocations from Oil that has lost value today in the international market while Lagos that is the Economic capital of Nigeria was refused special status grant.
See South East, those one will leave their governors since 1990s' to be looting their allocations, taxes and non-existent IGR and be roaming about. It's Tinubu they cry all day of their lives as if he took 5 kobo from their 5 tiny states allocation yet our leaders are doing nothing to caution them.
I don't mean to be divisive but let this country be restructured and each region should map out plans to progress accordingly. Yorubas should love Yoruba and think Yoruba first, it's the only way to move our region forward. Can you all stop this xenophobic nonsense? If this is what you all want to achieve with restructuring, I am not in support of it, infact if we are to restructure Lagos must stand on its own let it develop alone like Hongkong. Nigerians are helping to build the economy in USA and Europe, but it's xenophobia that you can only think about. Let restructure yes! But that shouldn't be an excuse for marginalization, infact once you live or was born in a particular region, you should be entitled to everything an indigene of that region is entitled to. It's we Yoruba that say ka rin ka po yiye ni ye ni. I am really pissed that you can say this about the igbos after all that happened during and after the endsars, yes the Igbo may have their own issues, we can't dispute that, but igbos are very very useful to southern Nigeria, if you don't know go and think about it |
