You may have been encouraged to do something for God in your church. It is a good idea, but you need to take caution.
Before serving God in a church, you need to pray well for the following reasons.

(1) To know if the church is truly of God and what spirit is really controlling the church. I tell you, if you serve God with your whole heart in a church that serves the devil, you are technically serving the devil, even if you are innocent. So no matter the prayers, worship, praises a church gives openly to God, if the founding pastors use occultic powers and demons to operate, you are technically serving satan no matter how innocent you are.

(2) To know what department, role or function God wants you to do. If God directs you to a unit in the church, He wants to bless you through that unit, and will empower you to be profitable in such unit.
