Revamped: Hahaha, this going to be fun So I have compiled a list of what I think women can't do without.
1. Make up kit.
2. Jewelry.
3. Nourishing Night Cream
4. Dental Hygiene Kit
5. Bath kit (including large sponge and body cream)
Others includes: Hundreds of Clothes, hip of Shoes, Countless Handbags, Mirror inside purse..
Check other hilarious lists from others here: http://pretiumtv..nl/2016/10/5-things-women-can-live-without.html?m=1 Op this your list is so wrong. you should sit and compile another list. No 5. applies to both man and woman. not every womam does 1 and 2. No 4 will only apply to those that have bad breath be it man or woman. am a woman and I don't even know what No 3 is neither have I ever seen it before. E.O.D |

Onegai: So, let's get some things some things straight:
1. I am quite a good number of years older than you (more than 8 years age difference) and you are a Yoruba girl. There is a chain of command and respect in that relationship. So you will address me as "Auntie" and not "Sis" until I see fit that.
2. You are very right: I have never used a Tecno tablet in my life. I used to use a Samsung and I accidentally broke an Apple tablet maybe that's why I want yours so badly, broken screen and all
3. I have only spoken to tell you that when your mum comes home from church, you should apologise to her. And I told you I won't give you money but I will help you. But I have not insulted you, if I had, you would remember. I am a Delta woman with Yoruba relatives, a quick temper and sarcastic tongue. That combination means you will be in tears when I'm done with you. Promise.
4. A lot of people here are using you as entertainment and a cautionary tale to their children. They don't care about you. They cannot sustain you even if they dash you credit or N5,000 and will use you as gist and laughter for their friends. And they already are. But I give a shi.t about you because I don't want your next baby to be for the Vulcaniser down your street. Which is where you're heading if you don't stop and do a 180° change in your life.
5. Apology NOT accepted! You didn't mean it. Rule no.1: don't apologise if you don't mean it. I'd respect you more if you did. I have zero respect for you now, which is why I'm being tough on you. If you wanna earn that respect, you'll pull yourself up and become a great mother.
6. Yes, you're gonna start paying rent and feeding in that house. I've asked Thorpido to tell your mum. No more free lunches. Or please move out and try and do it on your own. You should also start thinking of how to pay schoolfees for your son, he's 3. Pre-K starts at 3. That's what ADULTS do: they solve their problems by relying on their skills.
7. I would advise anyone NOT to give you money, NOT to help you open a bank account, NOT to give you money to start a business. YOU ARE 26 YEARS OF AGE AND A MOTHER OF 1. YOUR MATES ARE DANCING AT THE ALTAR EVERY SATURDAY AT THEIR WEDDING AND GOING TO WORK EVERY MONDAY. You have NOT finished school, you have NOT finished your Beautician course, you have NOT held a job down in your life, you could NOT even do Olosho work properly (go to Benin, girls are using ashawo work to build houses, go to VI and Ikeja, babes dey use kitten open store and are paying their parents' bills. You're here).
You need to succeed at something and start turning your "I have NOT" into "I HAVE ACHIEVED".
If you like, please listen to those petting you. I will not pet you, I am hard on you because that means I really think you can change. If I pet you and am gentle on you, that means I assume you are a lost cause and I'm just being kind to you to fulfill my daily dose of Likes and arse-kissing on NL. I owe you nothing, I have not even helped my cousins. Some of them are you, they learned how to born throway from their mothers and now they are doing the same. I could not help them, but I may think of trying with you.
It's upto you to decide what you want yo do now. Rule no.2: you have to start owning your own decisions and accepting their consequences of them.
We cool? This is awesome !!! Respect sis. |

TR1212: @ thorpido, true. But i have changed base twice in the last 5 years to different state with this problem following me. NO it is not a problem, it's just one of the phases of life. it only becomes a Problem when you start seeing it as a problem.. it one of the tough challenges you WILL overcome in life. *winks* |
Family › Re: Am I Cursed? Where Did I Go Wrong?? by taryour(f): 11:51pm On Oct 09, 2016 |
no you are not cursed my dear and no one will insult you if you refuse them.
Flee from the Devil when you see him and keep being your real self your own man will come in due time. be a little more patient and don't rush into marriage with just any man because married men are after you. relax and be sure you are ready and truly love the man, be sure you both are very compatible before you tie the knots. don't listen to what people say about you or the pressure from all angles, keep your head straight and high knowing God is on your side and you are not alone. You and your Dream man will find yourselves sooner that you expect. keep strong, remain strong and you will get there. But bare it at the back of your mind that once you accept to date a married man be rest assured that another woman will date your own husband and nothing will erase that. |

Family › Re: Help All Nairalanders Please Your Analysis Is Needed. by taryour(f): 5:59pm On Oct 09, 2016 |
Dyt: Taryour oo
Boash *smile* @ Op it all depends on the size of your brothers pocket. 3.2 Mil is enough and will have extra changes. but before he begins to spend a dime out of that money he need to look around him and the situation of the country and where things are headed. no one can predict the situation of this economy. he needs to spend wisely. because he has soo much to spend now does not mean he shouldnt still save for the future. if I had such amount now for a party, I would go quite and slash that money into 2, save half and use half for the party. stay strictly on budget, and when I mean budget doesn't mean you see something really big and budget little amount, No that wunt work and that's the mistake some people make when it comes to budget. an example a clients comes to me for a cake she saw somewhere, a 7 tier cake which would normally cost 170/180k and she tells me she is on budget and wants to pay 70/80k for same cake . or want all her guests to have a menu of 7 and you say you on budget and want to pay less than half the original price. that's where the mistakes come in. or you say you on budget and looking for hall space of 150k in oregun or ikoyi or gra. Or a client says she is on a low budget yet she has printed out over 500 copies of IV and still has a long list of guests attending. In this present economy there are a lot of desperate vendors who will accept just anything and deliver less than you ordered cause no vendor will add money from his or her own pocket to a clients job, they will rather not do up to what is ordered or use less quality and still make their own profit. at the long run, it all still boils down to your brother and his wife's taste and size of pocket not also forgetting " their tomorrow ". if he has made up his mind to have a big wedding then he should go right ahead and have his dream wedding. " using good vendors " best wishes. |

Family › Re: Request To Delete Threads!! by taryour(f): 9:51pm On Oct 05, 2016 |
RoyalRoy: This is not what you think it is.
I have been getting tonnes of mails from a lot of members to help delete one thread or the other that they have created in times past.
This is not awkward at all.
The issue here now is people who have created a thread or two soliciting for funds for one reason or the other, and through some smart and intelligent members, they have been found out to be scammers lieing just to get free money from sympathetic members of the forum.
I believe a lot of you "scammers" will have to live with the consequences of your actions. As the Internet never forgets. Your names, phone lines and details are all out online for an eternity.
Think well before you create a thread online... Not just on Nairaland. If you are careless with information and you come back regretting your deeds and words, please you will have to live with it.
So for all you guys begging and pleading to delete your threads after being caught up with your lies and all... There is no way the threads will be removed.
The threads that will be considered to be removed are threads bordering on family issues, threads that may be a security threat to the Op or threads that were created in violation of nairaland rules.
Hopefully this will serve as a lesson to all would be "Internet Beggers" who flood here daily.
The Internet Never Forgets GBAM !!! GBAMER !!! GBAMEST !!! . nice one RR. been a while. trust you doing great and all yours too? |
