Taway: LordAzubuike:Refer Genesis Chapter 1: 20 - 27; perhaps your Bible is different from mine. |
LordAzubuike:Read your Bible very well, Genesis Chapter 1 tells us that human beings were created last, after other forms of lives (including apes). So it is wrong for Researchers or "Evolutionists" to present the remains of apes to us today and claim they are remains of early humans. Apes are apes and human beings remain the human beings created by God, out of his image and likeness. I stand with the Bible order of creation. |
realstars:Likely, Corona virus edition. |
CROSS RIVER STATE: Your list is a mix-up of both languages and dialects, eg. Etung is a dialect of Ejagham language. Another dialect of Ejagham language is Qua though not mentioned in your list. You introduced the term 'tribes', thus making your listing more confusing, why? However, take note of Ofutop and Ndoeh languages in lkom LGA of the state, that you did not include. It is a Good Attempt |
Etizz:You may say whatever you wish to say. Is the woman healed of the cancer and her family not thankful to God and the pastor for the healing miracle? |
Restructuring of Nigeria is the answer. Even the National Livestock Transformation Programme has to be handled with care in the South-South and South-East. Forget about Tinubu and Osibanjo, they are ready to sell the South for their 2023 ambition. |
Opexzy:Baba Fatima, your local vigilante earns 15K with two wives and nine children. ...........Na who senam for two wives and nine children? He works for you, increase his allowance now? |
Yes, this is the system expected when cattle are maintained in ranches in the Southsouth and Southeast. This is necessary when the grasses in the ranches are exhausted, especially in the dry season. No roaming of cattle in farmlands anymore. We need peace. Police has demonstrated a good example for us to follow. I hope to become a grass contractor to ranches in my state. So I reject RUGA. Please no vex with me, I need job, |
TICAD7: Seventh Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development. No I disagree. Rename this conference as: TICAE7: Seventh Tokyo International Conference on Africa Exploitation. How can a true conference on Africa Development hold outside Africa? African Leaders will like this; It is a good opportunity for them to siphon the revenues of their nations into their private foreign accounts. |
Same people repeatedly listed as different tribes in Cross River State. For instance, Etung is a subset of Ejagham and Ejagham is a subset of Ekoi. This and many other examples in the state makes your list almost meaningless. |
tysontim:Which Tinubu? Has Ahmed Tinubu ever altered a word as Fulani herdsmen go rampage in various parts of Nigeria? So he is waiting for 2023 before condemning the evil act. Let him continue to wait. |
Oh ! Na township people. |
Officialgarri:May I ask: is killing fellow Nigerians the best way before God? So killing is now the best "development" option in Nigeria. Shame. |
Then Gov. Ortom really tried for his people in Benue state. Till moment he has not yet given up over Fulani herdsmen killings in the state. A battle he has fought while the President and the ruling party (APC) looked the other way. |
We don hear, ee don do. |

[quote author=masseratti post=77321677]I don't know why people, region or states pride themselves based on population, it does not make sense having more than two kids on this modern world is stressful, it's high time Nigeria takes its burgeoning population in check, currently we are over populated, and the North is getting worse with parents having kids they can't take care of, with a good numbers turning into banditry, almajiris, the southwest they are either yahoo boys or nurtw area boys south south militant, south east am not so familiar with that terrain so I can't give a honest opinion. Nigeria is over populated, government must do something about it and not put religious sentiments into it. My dear, you have x-rayed one of the the problem causing Nigeria's decadence. But will our popular religion in the north agree on the issue of low births per family? Most nations, especially South-east Asian countries have embaced Demographic Dividend concept and are moving on well, but Nigeria is still vigorously and happily heading towards Demographic Doom. |

It is high time Nigeria had adopted the concept of Demographic Dividend. It is all about the economic and social benefits that will be derived by the states and the nation generally, if the birth rate of women of reproductive age is kept low. The direction Nigeria is towing now is simply that of a people having large families, remaining poor and living shorter lives; this will not bring the desired development and prosperity. Thanks to the UNFPA/ State Bureau of Statistics seminar in Calabar, October 2018. Waiting for the state-wide advocacy to enlighten the masses. |
Naajjii:Then you can equally pull off your clothes and shoes, put on animal skin or hides and go about your business. By this way you prove to modernity that you love and still keep to the ancient ways. Otherwise, you are fooling yourself and encouraging your tribe to remain backwards in this 21st Century. Be wise. |
Just2endowed2:In fact the OP should be banned for seven months, seven days and seven hours for that poor job. |
Tinubu, are you just waking up from sleep to start sympathizing with Nigerians. Fulani herdsmen killed and are still killing Nigerians, you have said nothing. No worry 2023 is in view. Open your eyes well well! |
Where were CUPP when rigging was going on during Kano State supplementary election? |
Now we want INEC Chairman to be crucified for inefficient performance in this general election. We have forgotten that a Senate committee forwarded an electoral amendment bill which proferred solutions to some of the problems encountered in this election, which President Buhari refused endorsement. Majority of Nigerians hailed the President then. This is the immediate result of that President's inaction. So my Brothers, in this present circumstances, you can do no better than the INEC Chairman. It is very easy to criticize than performm. So now, you can truely say whether we are for "Same Level" or "Next Level". |
BABANGBALI:This is serious, what did you see there, "Tragic" or "tragic". Please use your senses. |
Surely, the EFCC Drones are to detect vote buyers in only PDP stronghold. They are insensitive in APC mainstay. In fact, as the drones landed in Nigeria and under the custody of EFCC, their scanners become insensitive to APC nefarious activities and the Broom logo. |
Jayslicky:Oh No! This statement is too harsh for the departed souls and the bereaved families. Note that travellers from Southern Nigeria ethnic groups also use this route and might be involved in the accident. Please pray for the dead, the injured and those that survived the accident. Also learn to pray for travellers everyday; for it could be your turn to travel tomorrow and the prayers of others can save you. |

jomoh:Dear Senator Sani, although you will be missed during the 9th Senate, you remain the voice of the masses yearning for equity and justice. The truth can never die. However the liars try to kill or bend the truth, it remains the truth. Rather, their evil works will trouble their own hearts and health, since they have dead conscience. God bless you. |
greatdreamer:For Buhari, Oyel and free grazing of cattle over Nigeria's terrain, are more important than human lives. You don't have to wait for a prophet to tell you this facts. |
Awol1:The reasons are not far fetched. First, Akwa Ibom State offers the best location for a coastal cattle colony. Second, the State offers best opportunity for a coastal cattle route terminal; a good cattle market etc. |
