the weaner is 20k cos na camborough full breed,it for a member don't no if is still available,as per the boar I send it a pure large white over 140kg good for breeding purpose,like my Oga use to say 10 good breeds is better dan 50 concoction breeds,just imagine if u wean those piglet they will be pricing it for 3500 but a good weaners will cost u Ntin less that 8k so let look forward to Av a quality breeds not quantity,just imagine that weaners above me will cost u Ntin less than 20k,left for me I doubt if u can get mature camborough boar for sale xcept weaners,that large white boar will cost u Ntin less dan 55k, let chat beta,or ask me anything u wish to no here,weaners of largewhite camborough mix available, very good for breeding

your location I Av a lady presently at oke aro farm we are on same whatsap group she have largewhite camborough mix weaners good for breading but will advice to buy a full camborough boar,i av sum1 as well that want to sell just 1 male weaners,it above 2 months so I can call it grower,dont no if he has sold it by now

I visited Ikenne on Monday. The pigs are simply amazing. They are also into AI. Cost is 5k per animal. I want to take this route. I believe it will be cheaper in upgrading my stock.

that a nice steps hope u av exotic breeds in your farm like landrace or largewhite,my advice to u is get train on it,cos small farm that does AI the success rate is not high,most get small litter size I mean instead of getting 10piglet u might get 4 or 5 but there monthly weight gain are high,best using them as breeders,but d disadvantage of AI U must av large herd cos they don't sell less than 10 or 8dose,it means you but av atleast 8 or 10 gilt or sow coming on heat at same tym,but get train or buy camborough boar for ur sow or gilt

sure the pleasure is mine,u can ask all u wish to no on dis forum,my advice to u is that u must choose a rite location were is close to raw material,were u can easily source for feeds n were u can get good cheap waste industrial waste,cos 75per cent of ur profit goes into feeding,it will be nice if u can beat it to 60percent,that y it advice to Av a big farm lands were u can do some planting as well

Most pigs in Nigeria have no pure background and have been maltreated. Pure breeds can be obtained at the Swine Research Centre in Ikenne ogun state. I hear their weaners go for 70,000 each. They have Landrace, large whites and Duroc. I saw their male stock. Very impressive.

buying 70k weaners is not bad only if want to be selling strictly breeders,which the market for it is not much,venturing into full breed is not a good idea,hybrid or cross breeds do better,if u are buying a LW it does not mean it has to be fullbreed but has atleast 80percent of large white features,but u can buy exotic boar to mate them,just tell me buying a weaner 70k and at d end u fattening her offspring for slaugher or buying weaner of 10k using her offspring for fattening,i tend to be correct cross breeds do better than full breeds,dont get me wrong ooo,not concoction cross breed with large white ooo,PLs let make this group lively I once learn from this group b4 being APPN member and what av gain is enough for me to be a consultant lolz although I be intending farmer lolz pls let ask questions n share ideas together cos am still learning too much of guru

av seen the picture,being a good mother does not make her offspring a good breeder,if you are using her weaners for breeding purpose won't rili advice u,i don't no what breed they mate b4 getting dis particular breed which is the sow,but I advice u to get more exoctic weaners for your breeders,but u can buy her weaners for fattening,pigs like dis no matter how u feed them the can weigh beyond 100kg which I even doubt but if u don't Av moni to purchase exotic weaners make sure u get exoctic boar to mate them so as to improve there genetics

infact help me greet her on my behalf she message me all thru to no her condition, the Vet doctor said he will place her on drip n perform surgery on her, with enough antibiotics n multivitamin for 3days,he will need to cut upper part of her tail cos the wound need to be fresh,just pray for her to make it till 2mao cos she can't work as at dis evening pale n white guess no blood or strength the legs are stiff but to my surprise she ate two can of sardine I will update u guyz 2mao,the vet prescribe pain relive drug n she has use it,she will start the treatment 2mao,so all petlover help me greet her,she promise to assist

This is so sad. I hate seeing things like this. I have some dry food my dogs refused to eat. You can come get it if you want. It's not much but it should last for probably a week or two. The tail looks horrible and I'm very sure whoever you take it to would suggest to cut the whole thing off. If you find a vet who can treat the tail let me know and I'll help towards the bill.
