i mean which exam holds plenty of water?
http://www.totaljobs.com/

Search this website for the kind of jobs you're interested in and look at the skills and qualifications they need.
This will help you decide which job pays the most, but you have to know it won't be so easy to get a job just like that because they'll need reference from companies you've worked for and i doubt they'll want to consider calling nigeria to verify your employment status and salary information from your previous employees. But you never know you might be lucky. Goodluck cool

Politics › Re: Nigeria Loses N240 Million Daily To Corruption - Fg by tboy1(m): 1:45pm On Jun 05, 2008
bilymuse:
What the government is telling Nigerians is: Folks were losing N240 million daily to corruption, there is nothing the government can do about it, there is nothing anybody can do about it.

Thereafter, they replaced  Ribadu, whom everybody agrees is doing a good job and send him to Jos for a course. Almost all the people that attend the jos course are the same people looting the economy. check out the list; Abacha, Babangida, top army officers, top police officers, civil service. what they teach in jos is how to loot the Nigeria economy to the tune of N240 million daily.

The new EFCC chairman , Madam Waziri,  primary responsibility is to ensure that no corrupt governor who helped in securing Yaradua victory in the election is prosecuted and that the N240 million daily corruption allocation must continue.
Ribadu was not doing a good job angry angry
During all the time he was there, why did he exclude corrupt leaders like Obasanjo, Mr. Uba(the president’s former chief of staff) Christopher Alao-Akala(former Governor )(now Deputy-Governor of Oyo State) . . .amongst others who clearly acted with impunity in their corrupt practices.

@ Poster
The amount Nigerians lose a day to corruption is greatly more than what's been calculated here (probably *10) and its unfortunate that the top leaders cannot do anything about it because they also feel its their turn to chop. . . and the next leader comes into the same position with the same idiotic mentality( i go chop) . . .
It's also so sad knowing 70% of Nigerian are said to be living below the poverty benchmark and we still have people stealing all the money!!!

We  don't know about the adultery part yet?? what if they are planning a big secret party for the dads next birthday??  grin now I'm just clownin.

But lets say she finds out they are , you know.

Please tell me what she should say to the mum?? "Mum stop boning uncle", or "Mum why are you doing Uncle". Jeez do you hear how that sounds coming from a kid to a parent??
Or how does she tell her dad?? "Dad, mum is screwing uncle", or "Dad muming and Uncle are boning behind your  back".

This is way beyond her. Let it go. Things will sort themselves out amongst them adults.
She needs to tell her DAD
Her telling only her brother will not make any difference because he cannot do anything and he might even worsen the situation

am 24, why dyu ask?
Nah when you said you wanted to discuss with your older bro, i thought you might be very young.
Anyways like i said, your mum will not confess to you because this same thing happened to my Ex, that was even worse because the mom used to come overseas to meet the man, sometimes they would even be on the same plane from nigeria. Her Dad was suspecting and paid some ridiculous amount to private investigators and he confronted her with all what he found out and she later confessed
By the way - The man and the woman are still married till today.
Tell your bro and ur Dad

If he got six years some a couple of grand of dollars

Then i think NWUDE who brought down a whole investment bank in brazil should have been hung, drawn and quartered!
As a first offender and it was an ATTEMPT(he never got to spend the dough), he would get 6 months in the UK!!!!

My problem is the victims were also fraudulent so why go to the Police after being duped?
Nigerian authorities need to be looking at the other side of the coin as well. . . . . . .
I don't think EFCC/Met. Police would lock a Briton that defrauded a Nigerian, would they?
While i condemn Mr. Nwokeafor for his evil deeds, a law should be set for some victims who are also looking to make money they never worked for.
That's one of the reason i'm surprised because if the case was between 2 nigerians i really doubt this dude would get 6yrs. The Judge would probably tell them to settle out of court or the case would not even make it to court.

Blatant:
How long did the ex-gov Alayagbangba get in prison?
Alamieyeseigha pleaded guilty to six charges and was sentenced to two years in prison on each charge= 12 years
but they said because the sentences were set to run concurrently and the time was counted from the point of his arrest nearly two years before the sentences, his actual sentence was relatively very very short. Just hours after being taken to prison, he was released due to time already served.

This is someone that stole billions!!!

Sky Blue:
It is sad that this is going on and this guy is basically going to waste 6 years of his life. However, without getting sentimental what would we all have said if the "attempt" was successful and some guy with three kids and a mortgage parted with his life savings? The thought that this will serve as a significant detterent is laughable. You have a country were people in high positions steal money all the time and NOTHING happens to them, they are even celebrated and flaunt the ill gotten wealth in the faces of the starving masses in what is the height of insensitivity and nothing happens. Yet it is some student that will serve as deterrent? It is sad but he did commit a crime after all. @tboy, being mad at the judge because some political criminals are walking free will only make sense if political office holders where also prosecuted and focused on as well by the EFCC. The judge was just doing his job.
I understand what you mean but the judges are also equally to blame.
Are u telling me not enough evidence was presented for all the political office holders cases that went though the corrupt judiciary system e.g Diepreye Alamieyeseigha or Ibori?

If it was in the UK

He would probably get a good few days in an open jail

with a plasma TV

3course meal all day

A nice gym to tone up his muscles

And a few drugs to keep his spirits high!
He would have got like 2-3 yrs and he'll do half
