I don't know of Nigerians in IT.   I have only actually met one or two other Nigerians in IT field and I shuttle around a lot to do work.

Thats weird maybe in US, but in UK its a whole different different story. When i was in uni out of 36 people in the class, 18 or 19 were nigerians , the rest asians and chinese and only 1 white dude. When i started working my first job was with logicacmg and i was also moving around and i can tell you that at least everywhere i've work i'm met at least 4 or 5 nigerian peeps there.

Anyway here is your solution:
First thing - You have to build up self confidence and make sure you're very open minded (don't hold back on anything ) Also you need to speak out more and stop keeping everything inside (either good or bad-  believe me there is someone out there willing to listen) talk to your friends, family, if your sister have friends - communicate with them - no toasting o  
In case you don't know, the more you communicate, the more you'll build up your self confidence =  being less shy.
Also make sure you keep a very positive attitude towards everything in life
Bro, the world is a very big place to explore and being shy will not help you at all, so common chase that shyness out of that body and go and catch them fine fine chicks

Depends,  personally sometimes i've waited for years (i'm very patient) and sometimes i won't be there for more than a month. First of all, whoever thought of this nysc idea needs to be flogged and for the current government to still decide that students should still go through nysc before they start looking for proper job need to be flogged even more. Can u guys see the situation now? It's becoming desperate for Wenger. After William Gallas' petulant display after the Birmingham game, a change is surely due. Gallas won't take it well, but Fabregas or Kolo Toure are far better suited to the role and if Wenger keeps faith with the French defender (as he did with Thierry Henry last season), then he is doing more harm than good. Should Gallas fails to hold on to his captaincy, he might also decide to leave this summer. This is why everyone thinks Arsenal is cracking. Rallying the boys back after starting the season impressively is a big challenge on it's own. Any extra brouhaha will just plunge the club into deep crisis.
