As things stand right now, from the oracle of the Holy Spirit, Jonathan should honourably resign quietly and let Nigeria be. The destiny of Nigeria is greater than Goodluck Jonathan. The Goodluck in Jonathan has become a bad luck to Nigerians. Whatever brought him in should send him back and let Nigeria be.
By this time in few months to come, many are going to lose their jobs and there is no alternative. During election, Jonathan will answer Azikiwe, Ebele and become an Igbo man and after election, the Ebele, the Azikiwe and Goodluck will vanish from his identity. Who is fooling who actually?
Look at our federal roads, we are not even asking for new ones, roads built by Buhari and Babangidas — the so called Hausa people— cannot be maintained. Nigeria is like an egg about to break in the hands of Jonathan Goodluck and we cannot allow it to happen. It is so unfortunate that pastors are becoming vultures around the president. Pastors are becoming hawks around him, eating the porridge of Jacob and selling their prophetic rights. And anointing is being merchandised in Aso Rock, carrying our nairas, turning it to dollars and carrying it in jets moving out of the country.
Listen, this is the voice on the pulpit: all these men of God, who are telling Jonathan to continue because they are benefitting one thing or the other, you should question your apostolic, prophetic anointing. What the Bible say is that Samson did not know that the Holy Spirit had left him. Let them watch if the Holy Spirit is still in them.
Listen, they will begin to tell us this one is a Christian the other one is a Muslim. I don’t believe in that. Who is a Christian more than Judas? Did Judas not betray Jesus? Judas was not just a Christian, he was not just a mere apostle, he was a super apostle like a cardinal but at a time he messed up and Bible says his office, let another take. That is the normal thing.
The way Nigeria is going right now, the office of Goodluck Jonathan let another take. I’m not campaigning for anybody. I’m filled with tears over what is happening in Nigeria. Some of us who have nongovernmental organisations funding charity, I know what I’m suffering. The more they are looting our resources, the more they are rending you unemployed, the more some of us suffer the more. If I have been paying for the school fees of 500 people, it would now jack up to 3000, or more.
What the government should do, individuals are struggling to achieve. When there is no road, no power, all this fake promises… where is the power? That Onitsha Bridge, has it now been built? No. After 6 years, and Goodluck has what it takes to do whatever. He surrounded himself with hooligans. By the time he comes down, he won’t have anybody to work with. He played himself into the hands of hooligans.
My interest is about the wellness of this country. Nigeria must survive what we are passing through by the help of God. The same God who saved us from Ebola will save us from this bad luck season (shouts of AMEN from the congregation).

I have read all the post in this thread but no one has been able to share his /her survival strategy. Does it mean that everyone that travelled to Canada for studies all came from wealthy families who were able to sponsor their stay in Canada...? where are the the naija students that successful sponsored or worked to financially support their stay in Canada ? please come and share both the good and bad side of your experience cos I know it will go a long way in encouraging someone . Am tired of reading post of people making enquiries about admission/ visa process, there is a special thread for that....There are people who might be wondering if they wil be able to survive after the initial money they brought to Canada is exhausted and support seems not to be comming from home. Please don't be shy in sharing your experience with others especially if you have been through such route while studying Canada.

Something interesting happened on my way to Oshodi
this morning. At the park this rough mean-looking
conductor also known as “agbero” in Yoruba was
screaming for passengers, his vernacular oscillating
between Yoruba and pidgin English.
“Oshod! Oshod!” He shouted angrily as I along with some
other passengers scuttled for seats. There was this
beautiful young lady who couldn’t throw caution and
decorum to the wind but waited patiently until the bus
was almost filled. Then she pleaded to sit by the agbero
until somebody came down then she would pay for a
proper seat.
The agbero didn’t even look at her pretty face, he hissed
and shouted to the driver to move that why didn’t she
rush when others were rushing. The girl started pleading
in Yoruba and clean ‘oyinbo’ english; “please, ejó, help
me out sir, I know you are a good man, never mind all
this shout you have been shouting (people burst into
laughter). Let me sit by your side please”.
Finally with much squeezing of face the agbero relented
and she sat beside him. It was a tight squeeze but she
didn’t complain but rather started praising the agbero. He
in turn started teasing her, speaking (and sometimes
spitting by mistake) into her face but the girl never
looked away, she never let the smile leave her face. He
asked her where she worked and she replied that she was
a student in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) studying
accounting. He teased her in Yoruba about her boyfriend
and car (maybe asking why her boyfriend didn’t drop her
at her destination…she laughed it off and continued to
gist with the guy in Yoruba.
When she reached her junction the agbero alighted the
bus for her to come down. She did and paid her transport
fare, then the agbero told her to give him a peck on the
cheek for being so ‘gentlemanly’. At this point some of us
became indignant, haba! He had been teasing her since,
he should let her go. Another argument almost ensued
between the agbero and the passengers although it was
not as if the agbero was really serious, he told her to go.
Then it happened! She jumped forward and gave him a
peck on the cheek! We all shouted, the agbero was quiet
out of surprise. She then waved bye and ran down to her
street.
The driver and other people started to hail the agbero,
see hailing! The guy was just forming boss, saying he
knew he was irresistible etc and others were yabbing
(taunting) him, some were yabbing the girl and we moved
on and suddenly the bus was quiet, show over. Then the
agbero put his head down and became uncharacteristi
cally quiet. The driver soon asked the guy why he wasn’t
calling out bus-stop abi the girl don do am jazz (cast a
spell on him). The agbero said something in Yoruba I
didn’t get and then his voice became emotional and
believe it or not HE STARTED CRYING. Others were now
consoling him in Yoruba. When I asked what the problem
was, the lady beside me explained that the agbero said
he just realised he would never be able to get a girl like
that in his life because he’s an uneducated bus conductor
and she was going to be a graduate. He was weeping
because he knew no girl of her class might ever do to him
what that girl just did, to touch a dirty person like
himself; that the girl is nice and well brought-up and if he
had money he would have chased after her. So the
passengers were consoling him in Yoruba that he would
go higher in life and be able to marry a girl like that. He
should not cry because itwas not the end of the road for
him.
That really touched me.
For a moment in that agbero’s life, his facade of a street
thug fell away and he was a vulnerable emotional aspiring

Take a good look at Apc, 80 percent of them are from PDP and they are the major stakeholders in the party. As for GMB, that man will be worse than GEJ, he is the most desperate politician in Nigeria, and i wonder what he forgot in Aso rock after many years. why can't he leave the stage for a younger politician ?
