Okay sir.
I don't just like back and forth. I believe once we make our points known, and also the other side makes his known, we can have a civil conversation. But when it is degenerating to back and forth or uncivil arguments. I prefer, the mature one should just take a bow out.
Thanks.

Inherit?

God gave Jesus authority and the kingdom to fulfill some specific purpose. Soon Jesus will hand everything back to his Father God.

I cor 15:24,28
Again i have provided answers in my first post but more thoughts.

You might wonder, that if the Father has given all power to the Son, how is the Father then glorified?

The answer is in
John 14:13-14

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

The Father is glorified in the Son.
Now, as humans we understand this. Nothing makes a parent more happy than the success of their Children. Parents don't get envious of their kids Success.

Our Father in heaven is not envious of Jesus Christ.
He commanded us to be perfect just like he is. He wants all of us to be like him and will do all it takes to help us reach our God potential.

And he wants us to be one with him just as his son is one with him.

Everything I have written is scriptural so why do you doubt?

That's wonderful. We have the same approach to the person of Jesus.
I Thinks it only Max that is still considering my proposal to him then.
That Jesus is god (in the context of his divinity and deity) based on the fact that his Father has exalted him to his throne to sit with him on his throne and given in a name that is above all other names.
I just hope Max will see my point from that lens and we all put this to rest.
Thanks.
Hmm, he will not. But that's not a problem. I am ok with people not agreeing with me but when one starts being intentionally dishonest, that's another thing.

You are correct sir on the Hebrew and on you stand that Jesus is god. We are on the same view. Max didn't even argue that with me when I made that history submission because I explained the meaning of the word "god" and it's etymology. But you have not been clear on one things sir. I will ask a question and if you answer is Yes, we are fully on the same page, but if no, then there is an issue.
My Question.
Is the Father greater than the Son?
I expressly told you that the Father is greater than the Son. That has never been in argument.

@ Immaculate
Where are you?
Do you see what i'm saying?
Only Jehovah's Witnesses can agree but all of you are SCATTERED spiritually speaking! Luke 11:23

The reason why you guys are ashamed to mention the name of your church is not to expose yourself because members of the same church don't agree that's why no church has agreed to do the work Jesus assigned to his disciples as he commissioned it each of you will just go to the streets and start making noice claiming he is preaching! cheesy
Always going back to childish arguments. The reason we don't mention our church is because we are not looking for distraction like you.
Our goal is to teach and discuss the word of God not to partake in some fetish church competition.
Christianity Etc › Re: Joseph Had The Same Authority As Jesus.. by tctrills: 9:22am On Feb 25, 2025
immaculatesense:
You are correct sir according to John 5:23.
John 5:23
[23]so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.

But he was also right by saying that the Father who gave his son (Jesus) ALL authority is greater than Jesus. And that is also true according to John 14:28.
John 14:28
[28]Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am.

I don't think you disagree with that sir. Thanks.
The argument was not about who is greater. I never said the Son is greater than the Father. The argument was about who is God. And my answer is, both. Jesus Christ is God just as his Father is God. You notice I use capital G for both. The Hebrew and Greek alphabets did not have small g Gods and capital G gods. The small g God is a modern western idea.

And I have no problem with finding out that I am wrong and improving myself but when you can't even prove you point and instead you have to lie and deceive, that's what I don't take. None of us knows all the truth about God because he has not revealed all things to us. So if Max and his JW people will teach me truths that I don't know, I will accept it. But their teachings have to be built on already revealed truths. We can't make the Word of God a lie just to satisfy any organization.

I have studied tctrills and Max argument and I can only deduce just one misunderstanding.
1. Max do not agree with tctrills that Jesus is god in his nature and the Father has delegated ALL authority to him, making him Almighty.
2. tctrills will not agree with Max that the Father who delegated the authority to his son (Jesus) is greater than Jesus thereby making Jesus a subordinate to someone which is the Father.

The issue is BOTH OF THEM ARE CORRECT. But they didn't just know they are looking at two different points.

1. Jesus is god (all powerful) because the father has committed ALL things into his hands until the end of days. And the Father made this known. Just like Pharaoh did with Joseph during the plenty and famine period, thereby making Joseph THE LEADER OF EGYPT in Pharaoh's stead.
John 5:22
[22]In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge,

2. The Father is definitely greater than his son (Jesus) and Jesus also retriated this severally.
1 Corinthians 15:27-28
[27]For the Scriptures say, “God has put all things under his authority.” (Of course, when it says “all things are under his authority,” that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.)
[28]Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere.

LET US ALL PURSUE THE PATH OF PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING.
THANKS.
Wrong, I know that the Father delegated Authority to his Son. That was never my argument.
Infact, I am arguing that the Father gave all things to his Son. And that all titles of the Father belong to the Son.

What does the word almighty mean?
It means having complete power; omnipotent.
Now read Matthew 28.18

Again, he inherits all his Father has, meaning he is the one true God.

Inherit?

God gave Jesus authority and the kingdom to fulfill some specific purpose. Soon Jesus will hand everything back to his Father God.

I cor 15:24,28
What you wrote is super correct and it's not in argument. So we both agree that Jesus Christ was given all power and authority right? and he shares all the titles of the Father.
Now, you say that Jesus Christ is to fulfill specific purpose and that my be true but then, he was given all things, all authority. He was not given some specific authority or some specific powers. So why do you have a problem accepting this scriptural truth.
It was never up to you to pick and choose which authority Jesus Christ has. His Father gave him everything so why would you be the one to decide which of his Father's titles he is worthy of?
Or do you have any scriptural evidence to support your claims? You don't. Then why not you just believe the Word of God?

Let me share a verse with you, I hope this will open your eyes to Gods plan for his children.

Revelation 3:12 – "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."

Here, those that overcome will bear the name of God. Think about this for a minute.
Remember we read in John 17 Jesus Christ prayed that those who believe in him become one with him and the Father?
Now you are beginning to see that it means a lot more than husband and wife relationship.

If we may one day bear the name of God, why are you shocked that his Christ is bearing all his titles?

Jesus and God are not in the same position.
We clearly see that from the verse you quoted, when Jesus overcame, his father and God promoted him and allow him sit on his throne.

Concerning the title, "God" and "lord", like you said it's just a title, that's why we have many gods and lords. Even humans were God's and lords. Just title.

So that's cleared

Who saved Israel from Egypt, Moses, God or both of them?
Any answer you get here should also go for your question grin grin
I have answered your question above but one thought came to me. Since we are both on the same side that the Father gave his titles to his Son, then what do you have against Jesus Christ being the one true God?
Remember, the Father did not withhold anything from the Son, the Son inherited it all. Why do you think this has to be different. Why do you think God will break his own promise and principle when it comes to this.
I know God keeps all his promises who think you?

So the Father did not give the son just any title, he have him his very own title.
So let's get it cleared up. How many other gods do you know that are everlasting Father, beginning and the end the Savoir etc.
As we know, the Son inherited everything from the Father.
Hope we are still on the same page?

And don't worry, you can ask me as many questions as you can as long as there is an answer in the bible, you will get it.
