MaxInDHouse:How does that verse apply to the topic? Each puzzle you white man gods claim they solved for you, when put to the test, you end up looking foolish |
MaxInDHouse:Now he will insult Immaculate to prove he is better. You don't even understand the statement you quoted. And as I said, the other time, you are a hypocrite because you and your dishonest organization also believe there are wrongly translated verses in the Bible. |
Truthseeker10:NOw explain how I am wrong sir. |
Truthseeker10:As for evolution, here are a few major controversies 1. The Fossil Record Problem Contradiction: The fossil record does not show the gradual transitions predicted by Darwinian evolution. Instead, it shows sudden appearances of fully formed species. Example: The Cambrian Explosion – Nearly all major animal phyla appear suddenly in the fossil record around 530 million years ago, without clear evolutionary ancestors. 2. The Origin of Life Problem Contradiction: Evolution assumes life began from non-living chemicals (abiogenesis), but there is no known mechanism for this. Miller-Urey Experiment (1953) showed that some amino acids could form under specific lab conditions, but it did not create life. DNA and RNA Complexity: Life requires information-coded molecules like DNA. DNA needs proteins to function, but proteins need DNA to form. Which came first? Naturalistic explanations for this are still speculative. 3. Irreducible Complexity Contradiction: Some biological structures and systems are so complex that they could not have evolved step by step. Example: The bacterial flagellum (a microscopic "motor" used by bacteria to move) requires multiple protein parts working together. Removing even one part makes it non-functional. Human Eye: Requires multiple interconnected parts (lens, retina, optic nerve, etc.), all working together. How could it function at each intermediate stage? 4. Genetic Information Paradox Contradiction: Evolution claims that random mutations and natural selection create new genetic information, but mutations typically degrade genetic material rather than create new, complex functions. Mutations Are Mostly Harmful: Genetic diseases result from mutations, not improvements. The Second Law of Thermodynamics suggests that systems tend toward disorder, contradicting the idea that mutations add ordered complexity. No New Genetic Information: While mutations can modify existing genes, they do not explain the origin of brand-new, functional genes required for major evolutionary changes. 5. Common Ancestry vs. Genetic Limits Contradiction: Evolution assumes all life shares a common ancestor, but genetic evidence suggests strict boundaries between species. Microevolution vs. Macroevolution: Microevolution (small changes within species, like dog breeds) is observable. Macroevolution (one species evolving into a completely different one) has never been directly observed. Genetic Barriers: Hybridization (e.g., horse + donkey = mule) proves limits in genetic compatibility. No natural process has demonstrated how a fish could turn into an amphibian or a reptile into a mammal. |
immaculatesense:You are welcome sir. That boy's only purpose is to deceive. Imagine a religion that is marketed via lies. |
MaxInDHouse:Stop pretending to be foolish. You know the meaning of atheism |
Truthseeker10:You and I discussed a bible contradiction the other day. If you don't agree that it's a contradiction explain please. |
immaculatesense:If I am an atheist, I will be teaching that there is no God. Your new friend is a shameless liar. He is shameless because he doesn't mind being exposed. |
Truthseeker10:If you have a book that contains more than 4000 years of history with less than 5% contradictions. Historians will see it as a miracle. It will be the most accurate historical record of all time. And one would be foolish to ignore it because of the 5% contradictions. Look at the first Nigeria coup that happened less than 60 years ago, there are already many versions to it. Despite the fact that it happened in the 20th century. Do we now discount it happened because of contradictions? |
Truthseeker10:Just because the theory of evolution has contradictions doesn't make my throw away my biology textbook does it? Your ability to learn and grow from the many truths in the bible and to keep learning until you understand the contradictions is what makes you a faithful servant. |
cornelboy:But I agree. I never said the Father and the Don are the same person. They are different people. I only said that the Son is Jehovah and not the Father according to the bible. |
Truthseeker10:Yes I am. A few contradictions don't remove the truths in the book |
cornelboy:Jesus is Jehovah, how can he be 2 people, you are not dull nah. Please take time to read so you don't ask questions that I have already answered. Ask a follow up question. |
cornelboy:We both know the problem is not your sleepless nights. Is that you fear. Remember what happened to the serpents of the Egyptians, Moses' serpent eat them up. That's what happens when the truth is put against fakes. It happens every time. I just wanted us to try it out. |
cornelboy:You ask questions but you are afraid to hear the truth. Now you want to shut me up. Funny. Oga, both of us know that if your beliefs are backed by the bible, you will be boldly countering me. I present myself to you armed with the bible and nothing else and yet you fear to have that public discussion with me. If seems you fear something will happen. Or are you just afraid to discover the truth? Even for the sake of others reading along, let's both discuss our beliefs using the bible as the referee. Anyway, you are welcome to ask questions at anytime or discuss scriptural concerns. Have fun dear. |
immaculatesense:No p |
immaculatesense:I am just waiting to say I told you. |
immaculatesense:Boss I was like you when I started discussing with this boy a few years ago. I actually believed he was honest. I even defended him and his organization. I bet he will never answer your question. He will quote verses that have zero relevance to the topic and at the end, he will advertise his church to you. I understand that you have an open mind but when it goes as I have predicted, remember to mention me. |
cornelboy:I have a feeling that you want to learn how Jesus Christ is Jehovah from the bible. Is that your question? |
cornelboy:Yes, I did. Please ask your question or do you not agree with the verse? |
cornelboy:As I said, let's take it step by step. But to your question, who said they have different thrones? |
cornelboy:I understand exactly how you feel. You created this thread. I only honoured you by contributing to it. Again, I want to agree with you that Jesus and Jehovah are two distinct persons.so that I can teach you from your perspective. But I can't force my teaching on you. I totally understand and respect your feelings. It's so hard to accept change. Again, if you have any questions related to the scriptures, feel free to mention me and trust I will be there. |
cornelboy:Yes, they are questions. You are right but I feel that's beginning from the end. It will be very hard for you to accept that Jesus Christ is Jehovah so let's start from what you know. Let's start with the statement that Jesus Christ is not Jehovah ok. Let Jehovah be his Father. I guess that should make you more comfortable. |
cornelboy:Ad I stayed early, I never made the argument that Jesus Christ is Jehovah in this thread. Debate against the things I wrote in this thread. I have made your work simple enough by begining where you are(that Jesus Christ and Jehovah are not the same person) |
cornelboy:I didn't even make that argument in this thread. I simply went down to your level using your own beliefs and your Bible to teach you. So for the sake of understanding, let Jesus Christ and Jehovah be different people ok. Jehovah being the God of Israel in the old testament and Jesus Christ, the one we know in the new testament. So you can't claim you don't understand when I am even using the premise of your believes |
cornelboy:Me and you know that you fully understand my argument But if you have a specific question about anything I have said, ask and I will answer? |
cornelboy:Why are you taking us back? We have discussed this already. Let's do a refresher course. Old testament Isaiah 43:11 – "I, even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no savior." God declares that He alone is the Savior. Hosea 13:4 – "Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no savior beside me. New testament Titus 2:13-14 – "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works Jude 1:25 – "To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen |
cornelboy:Sir, you can have your opinion but so far, I have shown you that your opinion does not align with the word of God. So you either Keep your opinion and receive God's word or go against his word now you have been told. Point out which of my statements are not supported by the bible you use? |
cornelboy:Is easy to say whatever but so far, I have shown you the truth using the bible you believe in. Everything i have presented is the pure word of God. Is Jesus Christ greater than his Father? No Does his authority and power come from his Father? Yes Did the Father give him all things including all power and titles? Yes. Then what really is your argument sir. |
MaxInDHouse:It's their problem not his. |
FreeStuffsNG:Thank goodness no one listens to you. You want Ukraine to be run-over just to keep some stones in the ground? Your genius idea is go to war against the 2 biggest military, lose more land in the process, lose lives, become poorer than ever but as long as the resist, you will rejoice and be glad in it. |
MaxInDHouse:Jesus Christ taught and many did not accept him. It was never a problem. |
