King James Version
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

The king of the North is Russia and it's Confederates including China, Iran, Turkey, North Korea, Belarus, Egypt etc
The King of the South is USA and its confederates including the EU and NATO

I don't understand what this news article aims to achieve. These are productive revenue generating agencies of government that brings the bulk of the money that the lazy and unproductive state governors come to share in Abuja monthly and which they subsequently loot and plunder to the detriment of the citizens.

If these agencies meet and even sometimes surpass their targets, there is nothing wrong in taking a cost of collection for smooth operations. Afterall, these agencies are self-funded and do not rely on the national treasury to pay their staff. If not for these league of GOEs, a majority of other government agencies are more of liabilities than assets, with many of them not carrying out their core mandate because they are either too clueless or constrained to do so.
Is it that you can see corruption or you choose to ignore it?
You give multi billions to a federal agency and you can't see corruption playing out.
Again, how is the federal government better than the lazy state governors?

AntiChristian:
You can't prove the words of the new testament were taught from the days of Jesus. You can't. Paul's Book came out first before any of the Gospels. Why is this? Paul that never met Jesus ended up writing about 13 Books of the New Testament.

In continuing with the New Testament, most scholars accept that Paul’s writings were the first of the New Testament to be written. Dr. Dale B. Martin dates 1st Thessalonians to be from 47 CE, Prof. Bart Ehrman dates it to be from 49 CE, either way the earliest Christian New Testament ‘scripture’ can theoretically be traced back to a man who admitted to being a fool (2 Cor. 11:1, 16), to being demon possessed by a Satan sent by Christ (2 Cor. 12:6-11), who stole the name of a Pagan Roman leader (Acts 13:7-9), and who disagreed with the brother of Jesus, even fighting with the Disciples who lived with Christ and referring to them as not true believers! Heck, he even denounces a significant portion of two Gospels by criticizing the biographies included in them in Titus 3:9.

What teachings do they have when most of the disciples were not literate? Could fishermen write?
I said the Book of John was the last Book to be compiled about 80-100 years after Jesus. Did John himself write that book 80 years after Jesus?
But I just gave you the proof in John 17
Read verse 20.
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
Here Jesus is praying for those who will believe the teachings of his Apostles. How simple can it get, the Teachings/writings of his apostles are approved by him. and the blessings for accepting them are the very same for accepting his teachings. I guess this answers your question.

Now you ask another question. You claim his apostles could not write. But as a Muslim, you should know better. Did Mohamed write the Quran?
Does it matter if they wrote it with their own hands or got someone to scribe it for them?

Also, read.
Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The teachings of the Apostles are the things Jesus commanded them.
So when Peter taught that For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: We know it is true.
When John reveals that they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb we also know it is true.

Also read
John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
This verse explains how the New Testament came about.

AntiChristian:
The Bible came about 360 years after Jesus! So you'll agree the New Testament is not a criteria for their salvation.

The Gospel of John itself was compiled about 80 - 100years after Jesus! It was the last Gospel to be compiled! I don't even think John the supposed writer John survived till that period!

So those that died before its compilation really do not need it!
Where does the words and writings of the apostles exist in?
The words of the new testament were taught from the days of Jesus. The collection of books known as the new testament came out much latter but the teachings of the new testament were there hundreds of years before. Peter. Paul, and the other Apostles taught these things to the people many years before the official collation of the books.
Do you understand me now.
Those that died before the compilation had these teachings already. These were the church's Paul wrote to, the people peter preached to so yes, they enjoyed the very same words as we do today maybe more than we do today.
For example, the letter John wrote to the seven churches existed many years before the compilation of the bible.
The compilation of the bible was just the process of putting together these records that were already available to the church.

AntiChristian:
Question 1
If the earliest Christians within the first two centuries after Jesus did not need a New Testament to qualify their faith, why do modern Christians have such a need? If they did not sanction or consider any other writing beside the Old Testament to be scripture, then isn’t it a digression from the ‘true faith‘ of the earliest believers to incorporate something new as scripture?

The first New Testament was codified and canonized by the heretic Marcion who believed that the Jewish YHWH was not the true God, the first time the largest Christian Church sanctioned a New Testament was during the 2nd Ecumenical Council of Carthage in 397 CE, some 360+ years after Jesus.
Oh, you have a very good question.
The earlier Christians depended on the Apostles' spoken words and their letters. So, it's very much the same thing.
Below is a long reading but it will help answer your question.
John 17
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

The words and writings of the Apostles existed even before the canonization of the New Testament.

You mean the Old Testament (OT)? The NW wasn't available as you have it today till closely about 400 years after Jesus!

What did Jesus himself write while alive? Moses wrote! David wrote! Jesus was literate so what did he write?

The Ephesians you quote is it the word of Jesus? Some even said it wasn't written by Paul!
And you are here claiming you know the words of Jesus!
I don't understand your first question please rephrase it. But then, the books of the old testament were largely available in the time of Jesus Christ. Still not sure I get what you are trying to communicate with your first question.
There is no record of Jesus Christ writing and if he did not write, it's because it wasn't the will of the Father for him to do so. He said he only did the will of the father.
Now your question about Ephesians still shows you are looking at the bible the way you do the Quran.
Ephesians is the word of God.
2 Peter 1:20-21
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

This means that the word, be it from Moses, Jesus Christ, of Paul when they speak when moved by the Holy Ghost, what they say is the word of God.

Actually we all know the Bible was not a project that was planned to be in the first place! I mean it was not a thought out plan.

Who are the apostles? Was Paul an apostle? How come one who never met Jesus later wrote more that all the apostles that met Jesus in real time? Also Luke and Mark never met Jesus. And why is it that some letters of Paul were in circulation at closely the same time as Mark? Luke and Matthew came later while John was very much later!

He shall teach you ALL things, so what has HE taught you all for the last 2000 years?
Lovely verse but the scripture is not for salvation! Many Christians in the first and second centuries only made do with the old testament! They never know anything like the New Testament.

Actually Jesus did forget to tell you guys plainly you need to believe in his death to be saved!

I can't believe God can have sons. This is like those Greek gods Apollos, etc. How does God have sons? Begotten reproduction of sex or adoption? Or can it be asexual reproduction?

Revelation should stop when the messenger is no more!
When Moses died who can add to the Torah?
When David died who can add to the Psalms?
Na only New Testament get continuation...since it was not a plan from God!
Again, you are looking at the bible with your knowledge of the Quran.
The revelations in the bible began before the birth of Jesus Christ and it continued after his death. If you can understand that then you wouldn't be asking all these questions.
Secondly, the new testament contains only a fraction of the things Jesus taught or did.
John 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
Again you get it wrong. When Moses died, the revelations of God did not stop. It was we humans that divided the word of God into books and section.
Do you understand it now?
I guess these few paragraphs addresses all your issues.
Who told you that christians in the new testament did not know the words of Jesus? What do you think was the duty of his Apostles?
Ephesians 4
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Of course Jesus forgot to tell his anyone directly that they must believe he died for their sins to be saved!

Jesus preached to his disciples, to crowds (sometimes in thousands, don't bother who did the head count), to Pharisees and Religious Leaders, to Sinners and Tax Collectors, to Jews in synagogues and other Jewish settings and Gentiles (e.g. the Samaritan woman).

Never for once did he tell anyone they have to believe in his death to be saved!

But then Paul happened!

Romans 10:8-12
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved. It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

Paul as usual misquoting Devarim 30:14 totally out of context!
But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may obey it.

Where can we find “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” in the scriptures?

Definitely not Isaiah 28:16
So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic. Isaiah 28:16

Back to where we diverted from, Jesus never told anyone to believe he's gonna die to save the world!
Paul did!
The Nicaea Creed did!

We believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,
God from God,
Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made;
of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven;
he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,
and was made human.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory
to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom will never end.
Very intelligent as usual but the answers you seek are very simple.
There is a reason why the bible is from Genesis to Revelation and not from Matthew to John.
As Christians, we know that the words of Christ and his Apostle are one.
It's the same spirit that gives them utterance.
So if you did not hear it directly from Jesus Christ but you heard it from his Apostles, you don't need to doubt.
This is the word of Christ to his Apostles.
John 14:26
