Before Osimhen could go on TikTok abi na where, he must have been reacting to something.
For him to have been reckless on live chat, he could have been more reckless when engaging with Finidi. Infact Osimhen attacked Nigeria supporters too with his recklessness
Finidi is matured enough to just let it slide after all, he has resigned Can we all agree that Finidi George is a failed coach. That's the only take from this. He lost on the field, he lost his dressing room and he lost the respect of his players in just 2 matches. Worst record ever. |

EcoNews: Tough same you Igbos always claim he was sidelined why don't you guys pick a side inside of all this cho cho cho. Forget about picking sides and let's face the truth. Twice, Tinubu supported, funded and campaigned for an administration that destroyed the country. What does that make him? This has nothing to do with Igbo or Yoruba but everything to do with a very wicked and awful person who did not mind that the country was falling to shit as long as his men were in power. Truth is that we have many ordinary Nigerians who have the Tinubu mentality. They don't care that this country is in a mess all they care about is to have their man as president and anyone not supporting their man becomes an enemy of Nigeria. |

Be The Judge. Should Victor Osimhen Disrespect Finidi George?
(Compiled by Wisdom Nwedene , a Nigerian Journalist)
#IgbereTV This is just rubbish. This is not about Finidi George's playing days. It's about his coaching and as a manager, he is a zero As a legend of the game, we give Finidi all the respect he deserves but as a manager, he remains a complete failure and no one is wrong in pointing that out. |

Sleekfingers: Are the useless playing with the intention to qualify for the world....no doubt . The manager will take the blame....the should also blame those useless players , who played as if nothing is at stake.....
Most Nigerians don't like the truth. The Super performance at Afcon was simply a fluke . Go and watch their games again ..... The final was the worst Afcon finals I have ever seen in my life...... It is the job of the manager to motivate them and make them play like something is at stake. That is his major job. And clearly you can't explain how the Nations cup was a fluke. Saying it was a fluke does not make it so. Nigeria played better than their opponents all the way to the finals. Unless you have a new meaning for being a fluke. |

Politics › Re: Hardship: Stop Spending Money On Prisoners - Reno Omokri Tells FG by tctrills: 11:30am On Jun 15, 2024 |
INTEGRITYA1: Thanks for educating me.
I don't know if you have visited any prison in Nigeria before or at least read about what's happening over there in terms of congestion as the scope of this discussion.
Instead of piling up grown up fellows in one dirty room while government is budgeting billions of Naira on yearly basis for their feeding without them adding even a grain to national wallet and put them to National farming. Don't you think at least something will be coming into the treasury no matter how and it will definitely be a plus to whatever we have been generating. Like you said even if that didn't guarantee enough, it will not be a minus.
That been said, are you aware China is sending prisoners to other Countries to do some menial works even in Nigeria here, some of the white skin fellows we're seeing at the Construction sites are prisoners, those that are still serving jail terms, but instead of them been locked in one room suffering and doing nothing while China Government will keep spending their resources on them, they pull them out to other Countries as labourers in other for them to be useful and bring something back to the purse. If you doubt it you can do some finding about the claim for you to be sure. So if we compare these two scenarios, which of the narrations do you consider to be better? Please let's learn to stop giving unrelated examples. Your Chinese example does not apply. You have 80 million poor Nigerianm Do you understand what that means? Four in ten Nigerians are poor and the number is increasing everyday yet you choose to give the available jobs in agriculture and construction to prisoners just because china did it according to you. What then happens to all our construction workers? Again you will push many farmers into poverty as they will not be able to compete with the free labor coming from prison farms Let me explain. So if I am a farmer, and I spend 1 million to pay my workers, the prison farms are getting free labor so the will be able to produce food at a cheaper cost and kick me out of business. Please do some studying. Learn and understand market forces and how economics works. Other countries that use prisoner's labor are Eritrea and North Korea and both are super poor. You are welcome |

INTEGRITYA1: You just need to learn how to reason and employ critical thinking.
The food shortage and food inflation crisis we are facing today in Nigeria is largely due to shortage of farm produce.
Now if we have means as a Nation to bring more hands into farming, it will help us to increase our production and have good food security.
Meanwhile all these didn't stop those who are already into farming in relation to the question you asked. Did land finish or farm land been exhausted?
Nigeria is having so many land size that are yet to be put to use and wasting away. If we use our resources very well, we don't have to be in food crisis. Please think. Lol. You criticize my reasoning but I will criticize your lack of knowledge. Nigeria has over 40 million farmers. That's more than the number of farmers in the US, UK, Canada, and the entire EU put together. The food shortage is not a result of not having enough labor in the agricultural industry. Now let me give you a history lesson. The southern America depended on slave labor while there was no such thing in the north, yet the north was far richer with less unemployment. Think about that. Forced labour is never a better alternative to the free market. |

Olaide1295: It’s easier for prisoners to be a much structured workforce. Prisoners are not taking your office jobs, nkt taking your software, design jobs. Just menial labor to start. You are so naive to think that 90% of Nigerians work in offices or software jobs. I bet you, you don't have up to 1 % working in the software industry. On the other hand, we have millions who depend on construction and Agriculture the very areas you want to put prisoners. |
Politics › Re: Hardship: Stop Spending Money On Prisoners - Reno Omokri Tells FG by tctrills: 7:40am On Jun 15, 2024 |
Olaide1295: I totally agree with this. Prisoners should not get free food. They should work in exchange for their food and accommodation. If they work harder, the rest of the money should be kept in bank for them to help them integrate well into the society after they are released.
There are roads to be built, foods need to be grown, mines to be mined, cities to be cleaned, trees to be planted etc. There is a lot of work to be done to improve our society. You already have millions of unemployed people out there. If prisoners take up all the jobs, you are only encouraging more crime. |
Politics › Re: Hardship: Stop Spending Money On Prisoners - Reno Omokri Tells FG by tctrills: 7:37am On Jun 15, 2024 |
Zico5: Reno really made a sense here. Do u know there are some prisoners that prefer to remain in prison for life than getting freedom because of free food. I have seen someone that continue to commit crimes so that he can go back to prison. If this can be introduced, rate of crimes will reduce gradually. Oga, it would only explode the rate of crime. You want to take away the few available jobs and give them to prisoners. What do you expect the people you took their jobs away to do? |
Politics › Re: Hardship: Stop Spending Money On Prisoners - Reno Omokri Tells FG by tctrills: 7:34am On Jun 15, 2024 |
INTEGRITYA1: They will definitely be useful in farming and construction companies as labourers.
Instead of wasting away in sell.
The pile up in the prison is even an eyesore. When you employ them in farming and construction, what happened to the people who's jobs they are taking away? Do they also need to commit crimes to get back their jobs? |
Politics › Re: Hardship: Stop Spending Money On Prisoners - Reno Omokri Tells FG by tctrills: 7:31am On Jun 15, 2024 |
Remman: There's sense in that, as some prisoners would even get skill once they free them. I love this idea, and it will help in discouraging people from doing crime. You have over 50 million free Nigerians who are unemployed but you prefer to give the few available jobs to prisoners. You are only creating more criminals. |

helinues: Southerners should continue waiting for northerners to produce foods they would consume.
Imagine southerners importing ordinary rams from North, same way they would be importing tomatoes, yams, peppers when it's not that they are disabled The north has many times the poverty in the south so clearly, the south is doing something right that the north should learn from. Then again, let's note that the north has many times the arable land in the south and a bigger population hence more farm labour. Still the north of Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. |
