As of 2023, only 7 African countries had a higher Life expectancy than Gaza. Black man, better know what you are fighting for. Stop fighting for people who are many times better than you. These are spoilt pampered people who never knew real hardship but were taught that they were the least of all humans. They had it great but we convinced them that their lives were hell. Life expectancy in Gaza was about 73 years as of last year. |

That question is just too hard for his supporters to answer You are getting it all messed up. When will your president, react and do what he was elected to do? Peter Obi is not your president. You are avoiding the only important question here. |

This thread na just for record purpose, that Obi can never be Nigeria president is not out of hatred , na just pure fact You seem to be confused. If Kids in Nigeria are not able to write their exams, the only person to blame is the chief security officer. But it's clear that we have a president that thinks like you. Are you also going to create a thread asking what the person you elected to fix this is doing about this? |

Charity always refused to start from Peter Obi's home hence being cherry picking about which issue to respond to
Oh I forgot, education mean nothing to Peter Obi, someone who increased Anambra state tuition fee claiming education is not for the poor He is not the president. It is the duty of your evil president to ensure that every child feels safe enough to write his or her exams. We don't need to hear from Peter Obi. Tinubu was elected for that purpose. Peter Obi shouldn't do his job for him. |

I think if I said God should destroy your lives the way the people aot of Palestinian are being done I would not be wrong. Some f you are just wicked souls under the grab of trying to be analytical with the truth.
Even the deaf knows Israel is terrorist state but idiots like you keep supporting them.
May the curse of God be upon anyone of you supporting this evil! What if I say the devil should destroy your life the way your Hamas brothers took Lives on October 7th I would not be wrong. You are the most wicked terrorist supporting soul and the worst part is that you don't have the truth or facts on your side. You guys have been killing Jews for over 100 years now and you are shocked when they retaliate? On 24 August 1929 in Hebron, Arab mobs attacked the Jewish quarter killing and raping men, women and children and looting Jewish property. They killed between 65 and 68 Jews and wounded 58, with some of the victims being tortured, or mutilated. Palestinians have always been animals it did not start in October 7th |

Besides, I believe that the issue is between extremists (on both sides) and sensible people (on both sides).

RockHard: Israel is just wasting its time. They can never wipe out the Palestinians, never. The children of the Palestinians they're bombing today will become even more belligerent than their parents ever were. It is what it is. Israelis will never know peace in the Middle East. For as long as peace and human dignity eludes the Palestinians in their land, so will the Israelis never witness peace. That will always be their portion forever in that land. See a Nigerian that has no peace declaring that Israel will never know peace. More Nigerians died from terrorism in the last ten years. Keep cursing others when you are the cursed one. |

naptu2: That is an unanswerable question because it depends on what you mean by first.
Do you mean first this year, first last year, firsy 30 years ago, first 50 years ago or first 1000 years ago.
For example, I wrote in the 1990s that this is an unanswerable question. The 1990s is 30 years ago. Still by your logic, it was your guys that started it in 1948. Israel is only defending itself |

DeepSight: Stop denying the fact that your religious passion is part of your Israeli bias. Just stop it.
As far as intellectual challenge is concerned that was not an insult. That came from a cold review of what you wrote about the United Nations and the legality of West Bank settlements. Now you are just being foolish. I never told you that I have a religious passion for Israel and to assume that everyone supporting Israel has a religious passion only shows your narrow mind. Israel gets so much support from indians and trust me, most indians are not christian. And see the pot calling the kettle black. Are you not the boy that believes Israel should be the slave of the UN just because it was formed by the UN? To me, you are just comedy, a distraction from the important things of life. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Isreal Must Stop The Rafah Operation - Emmanuel Macron by tctrills: 8:50am On May 28, 2024 |
DeepSight: I dont think I need to respond to this brazen and absurd falsehood.
This is because Egypt -
1. Is not the occupying power with respect to Gaza and West Bank 2. Maintains its border for the main purpose of avoiding a clash with that very same occupying power.
In prisons the world over, smuggling of illiicit goods such as drugs, tobacco and alcohol still occur. That there is successful smuggling into Gaza does not disprove its status as a prison. It actually affirms it, because if it were not blockaded, there would be no need for smuggling. They would simply legitimately import arms just the way other free countries do.
Names are not so relevant as actually history. Names come from many sources. That the world "Nigeria"is a British invention does not mean the peoples called Nigerians today did not already live in the space called Nigeria today.
The United Nations and the International Community have recognized Israeli settlements on the West Bank as illegal for decades now. There is no justification for them. What does the word ïntifada mean? It means uprising. And yes, a captive people have a right to rise up and revolt. Even violently, yes, because they are kept captive with violence.
Millions of black South Africans had access to white reserved areas in apartheid South Africa with their work passes in order to go and work. What part of the mechanics of cheap slave labor do you fail to understand?
You accuse me of lying and yet you lie with breathtaking ease. At all events, they have all been flattened as we speak - under the usual Israeli excuse that they are actually Hamas bases.
Now here is what you biblical lot fail to understand. Populations move. Migration is a steady fact of history. Conquest, wars, famines, trade, and myriad other factors ensure the constant fluidity of populations.
Now settle down and understand. Jerusalem was sacked in 70 A.D, almost 2000 years ago. After that, most of the Jews moved into diaspora, in the middle east as well as Europe. Mostly into Europe. In the intervening time, there was the rise of Christianity and Islam. At the time of the first crusade about one thousand years ago, Arabs had already migrated into the land called Palestine (I have told you already that the fact that Rome gave the name is inconsequential). And through four to five crusades which lasted centuries, Arabs and European Christians contested that land and dwelt there along with a small Jewish remnant, because the majority of Jews had since moved into diaspora.
Now, you have European settlers who are recognized as indigenes of America even though they only moved there in the last few centuries. How can you claim that Arabs who have been in Palestine for over a thousand years from the time of the crusades are not indigenous to the land? Indeed, they were the dominant people of that land thoughout the last millenium all the way down to the time of the Ottoman Empire which also colonized the place.
After the second world war, there was a move by European powers to resolve the Jewish question of Europe by creating a Jewish state. And because Britain held Palestine under a United Nations Mandate, they were able to create the State of Israel in 1948 under a United Nations mandate. And for this reason, Jews who had been living in Europe for 2000 years, Jews who had been thoroughly Europeanized therefore, were moved back to a Palestine which already had Arabs dwelling there for more than a thousand years. There is no way you can claim that a settler population which had lived in Europe for the last two thousand years to the extent that they have become white - unlike the brown color of their semitic cousins in the same region - are more indigenous to the land than those who have dwelt there for the last one thousand years.
And yes, this is why it is not wrong to call them Europeans. They are settlers from Europe, and many of them are not actual Jews. Any serious observer knows that the Israelis of today are simply not the same as the Israelites of the bible. Those Israelities of the bible were semitic people just as Arabs are semitic people - they were not the caucasian white men we see in Israel today. They were every bit as brown skinned as Arabs are today.
Needless to say, when you try such a settlement of a foreign poulation, conflict will break out. That Israel came out on top is a fact of life based on the technological superiority of the Europeans. This says nothing about the authentic and historical issues at play. \
Since that time, every peace agreement which has arisen from the Western world to resolve this issue is horribly skewed. At all events, the apartheid repressive policies which the European colonial settlers have maintained agains the indigenous Arabs remain inhumane and condemnable by all people of conscience.
And Ashkenazi Europeans. Please try not to send me to google. I find that irritating.
I know where he was born. And it is inconsequential.
I have not insulted you today. You have started again and later you will end up the way you did the other day by calling me rude.
Please try not to ask me to read up elementary things.
This is not a mere appeal to authority. Mandela and Tutu are not professional experts in some field of knowledge such as humanitarian sciences. They are people who lived through a very very real, very very vicious and visceral racist system and they are recognized heroic fighters against that injustice. It is not unreasonable to think that such people will be in a vantage position to recognize the very system they laboured against when pepertuated yet again by Europeans in another land.
At all events you should be careful with the negation of what may appear an appeal to authority. As a lawyer, I know very well that even courts of law, which are places of evidence, place reliance on the testimony of both experts in a field as well as people who have had substantal experience of a matter. So some appeals to authority can be rational, and i put it to you that even where citing the views of Mabiba and Tutu are an appeal to authority, it would be a rational one.
Firstly, there is no reason why Arabs will not be part of Israel when as I have told you, they have lived tehre for over a thousand years. It is the Israeli population that was imported, not them. Secondly this takes nothing away from the reality of apartheid being enforced against the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza.
I dont think your focusing this issue around Jesus is useful in anyway. As far as the Jews are concerned there are far more important historical figures than Jesus. Such as Abraham, who came from Ur of the Chaldeans - a place which was in modern day Iraq. So be careful when you want to go back into history and just how far back yoy want to go.
And how did the so called promised land now become the inheritance of his descendants? Because their mountain deity told them to go and kill the Canaanites there and take the land as theirs, right? By genocide right? Please see the book of Samuel to read the specific genocidal injunctions of Yahweh where he decrees that even the cattle of the people who owned that land should be slaughtered. Is this the biblical history on which you benchmark your belief that this land belongs to "the chosen people?"
cc: tctrills. I only tag you here because I doubt I will ever have the special energy to address you on some of the issues touched on here. I can only pray that you will think seriously about them for once. My child, I didn't see the need to read your your write-up so tagging me was just a waste of your time. ijebosb: Fam, save your bluster. I'm sure it works on the likes of other idiots on here. But, for me, not worth your time typing.
Brown vs. Board of Education was a judicial decision. So it can't be a 'role model'. But a decision I and many many others found foundational in the movement for Civil Rights esp. for black people. The way you speak about it shows a lack of familiarity,
You were discussing Race, Slavery and Racism and said Clarence Thomas was someone you often read. Yet wonder why I brought up Brown v. Board of Education? Thomas hasn't written many books and because he is a Justice is supposed to be cautious of what he writes. So, I assumed, I guess wrongly, when you said you read him, you meant his opinions. But, maybe you were just bullshiting about who you read. So to gleam what he thinks, people usually read his opinions in Supreme Court cases. I hope you were aware he is a Supreme Court Justice. In a recent opinion, he said he thought Brown v. board was wrongly decided. That the Supreme Court didn't have the power to decide it the way it did. Now, Thomas is arguing that the highest court in the land did not have the power to say that governments allowing segregated places like schools, etc. and thus putting black people in worse facilities were wrong and thus not treating everyone equally. That decision Brown v. Board was one of the foundational civil rights rulings that lead to era of desegregation and equal rights for Black people. And without it Thomas may have not been where he is sitting now.
But, you are sitting in Nigeria, without an inkling of understanding of US history, pushing White Republican propaganda, all the while attacking black people who are fighting to keep and push forward those hard won gains. Black people who are successful in their own rights, who will most likely be ok whether the policies get pushed back or not. Like I said miss me with ur ill thought out white racist apologist bullshit. Oga. You don't really have anything to offer no need for me to read anything you wrote. I have given you chance to redeem yourself but all you can offer is shaff. Have a great life my brother. |
