One thing I can tell is that you are an intelligent person even though we don't agree so I wonder why you need to do this Before you commented you should have updated yourself on Israel's work visa. You can't come to a country with a visa that restricts you to farm work and then go looking for another work. Abeg let's learn to follow the laws. The US had the same laws for temporary worker visas |

nisai: Stop saying nonsense. Lagos has the highest population of Yoruba in the SW as of today. First, you need to learn how to read. I said Lagos has the least percentage of Yorubas in it's population than any other SW state. Now let me explain what this means. It means that Lagos has a larger percentage of non Yorubas than any other SW state. Please stop confusing yourself and learn to understand what you read. Thanks. Again, how can you be sure that Lagos has more Yorubas than Oyo? Truth is that you really don't know. So stop saying what you have no idea about. |

Dream25: Stop excluding Lagos, is it Igboland?.. Lagos is part of southwest and yorubaland, then do your calculations..
It's insulting to us if you keep excluding Lagos.. Lagos is geographically in the SW but it's growth is purely the Nigerian factor. Lagos has by far the least percentage of Yorubas in it's population than any other SW state so clearly it's growth has nothing to do with Yoruba but the contribution of the entire country. That is why it is rated differently from Oyo and co. Oyo for example has a far greater percentage of Yorubas in it's population yet an economy smaller than Imo. Do you understand now? |
Politics › Re: FULL LIST: Nigerian States By GDP by tctrills: 3:13pm On May 03, 2024 |
softtorce: Exactly as Lagos is not part of the SW When you are done fooling around you will find a way to create your own Lagos so you can complete instead of lamenting or wishing the best part of the SW should be left out of it glory so you igbos can beat your chest over failure. You clearly don't understand. Lagos had by far the least percentage of Yorubas compared to any other SW states so that's a clear fact that it's greatness has nothing to do with Omoluabi's . Oyo has a far greater percentage of Omoluabi's but a much smaller economy than Imo with almost no Omoluabi. This simply shows that Lagos is a Nigerian project and should be handled differently from the other SW states. I hope you understand it now. |

Stop embarrassing sensible Lagosians I think the Lagos argument is very unnecessary. We only look to Lagos while the rest of the SW is trailing behind. The Government of Nigeria has made Lagos the only state suitable for large investment and ignored the other 35 states. This is a problem and not a reason to celebrate. |

Dangote Refinery alone will swallow Alaba and Ladipo
So many tech companies owned by Omoluabis will drown the GDP of your five plots Let's talk about the economy of the so called gala states compared to the SW Omoluabi's From you figures above The other 5 SW states with the exception of Lagos have a combined GDP of 18.48 trillion and a population of over 26 million people. On there other hand, the 5 SE states with a smaller population of 23 million people has a combined GDP of 22 trillion. Clearly the people of Ogun. Oyo, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti cannot be Omoluabi's. |

In just a month, many smart people have because millionaires thanks to the CBN. While some of you where busy praising the government for strengthening the Naira and others were criticizing, the wise ones were buying up cheap dollar. They understood that the Naira was going to ultimately fall. The moral of the story: The Nigerian economy has failed. Government is not capable of making it work so find a way to make it work for yourself and family. For those of us against the Tinubu government, complaining on Nairaland will not save us. And for the pro Tinubu people, defending the government on Nairaland will not put food on your table. Try to make sense out of this senseless economy. |

Pure currency speculation which is harmful to our local currency and economy. You even see popular and famous people online encouraging Nigerians to engage in currency speculation. Even teenagers on the streets are buying as low as few dollars for the purpose of speculation. Nigeria placed ban on whole 41 items from importation under Buhari and it is still in effect till today. You call someone a saboteur because he chooses to invest in a stable currency and not in the unstable Naira? Oga it is only foolish to keep your money in naira. Jobs are scarce in this country and the little ones around are a do-or-die affair, make a mistake of complaining and a thousand of people will be waiting on the sidelines to replace you while you go hungry, many don't have other options than to manage. Calling others slaves and other unprintable names is the height of it for me. You can go ahead and call me whenever you like but I care less. But know this today, it's the same thing that kills a wise man that can kill a fool in this life so be careful about what you dish to others
@nasri100 don't ever make a mistake of giving anyone your details to proof a point, for your security reasons.
He wanted you to decline when he mentioned his community but you surprised him, all those other talks are just to save face. Believe me, he don't have anything to offer or don't want to help anyone. Calling others slaves should have told you the kind of person he is, saying he can't do anything here is also another indication that he was just boasting for nothing.
The fact that God give you the opportunity to be better than others does not mean you are wise or more hardworking, trust me if it was by working hard he may have problem of feeding and if it's by wiseness, he can't stand shoulder to shoulder with people that are suffering. You proof your point already so save yourself the stress and move on. You have my respect from today even though I don't know you anywhere. I am still waiting for @nasri100. |

7upnigeria: Are there no laws when Oshiomhole closed down Guardian Newspapers? There are laws but Government people are more interested in making money, am talking about the officials of the Police, WAEC, EFCC, Ministry of education and others that have to do with government. But NLC is NOT GOVERNMENT sponsored, they should protect workers. Go to all these Indian and lebanese companies and see how their workers are badly treated. If NLC closes down one of them today and sends the video of how the staff are poorly treated on social media. People will take NLC serious.
NLC has become a political tool and they should be ready to fight POLITICAL FIGHTS, E go hard them. Take my word for it. Closing the newspaper clearly did not solve the problem of exploitative schools. Trust me there were thousands of exploitative schools in the days of Oshiomhole. |

During Oshiomhole's time, many companies WERE CLOSED trying to misuse their staff, my Sister told me the story of how Oshimhole closed down Guardian newspapers when she was working there. It's not about closing down businesses. We need policies. Government not NLC needs to enact laws that protect Nigerians. But we don't have a government. |

My representative will meet yours at the hospital at said date and time with cash and other items. I wanted him to do the item shopping today ahead of tomorrow but you are miraculously ready for it today which is a surprise.
All we need is a Nairaland mod to verify everything and we good. Nothing is going to whatsapp friend. Everything will be done on here.
Please respond to this Cc Seun No need for item shopping. Let them just do cash. I could get me sister to the hospital in one hour. How about you |

This little man syndrome, relax. Ain’t no need to get worked up.
No you ain’t a fool to want to do online giveaways. Maybe you can’t afford it. You can always do online giveaways and in your community. I do that too, no big deal. You can help people from any medium you choose.
I’m not in Africa and I don’t know you in person or your community.
You tagged me on Nairaland and that’s the only safe and neutral place to do it.
Are you interested and how much you got in? Oga, everyone can afford to give something. Now are you in this to boast or are you interested in helping? If you are about helping, then get someone you trust to represent you and we go to the hospital in my community and pay the bills of poor patients. This sounds to me like a wonderful idea. You bring 500,000 and I equal the amount. Now you really don't have an excuse here. Your rep could even make a video about it. |
