Image123: No be only GDP, na PDP. Argentina is doing better GDP and owing about $500billion. IMF recently bailed them with debt of $20billion. NOI was having headache and struggling to pay salary with some useless GDP badge in office. States were borrowing heavily and unable to pay salaries that Buhari had to bail them a couple of times. Today, companies are recording armed robber profits, states are getting more than double, reducing debts and not borrowing to do projects and "steal", and someone wants to be cursed with GDP.
Fun fact. $1640 X 500= 820,000naira. Dollar was less than 500 before subsidy removal but let's be very nice. $807 X 1500 =1,210,500 naira. Dollar is said to be 1,600 but let's be generous. Na you know why you agree for gaslight. Better convert to CNG.
What about the thousands of companies recording loses or even folding up. Only a few companies are doing well compared to those struggling. So it's unfair to base your argument on the few.
The arrogance with which he went about the whole DOGE thing, and his words harshly criticizing basically every government employee. The sledge hammer approach to downsizing. Did he think the people will not look for ways to get at him?
only God knows what will happen to him and his businesses when another administration comes in and start investigating him, Never mix business and politics
He will learn the hard way
See poor Nigerian laughing at the world's richest man. I bet Tesla would bounce back before you make your first 1 million naira.
Krismas: Arabization or Arabicization (Arabic: تعريب, romanized: taʻrīb) is a sociological process of cultural change in which a non-Arab society becomes Arab, meaning it either directly adopts or becomes strongly influenced by the Arabic language, culture, literature, art, music, and ethnic identity as well as other socio-cultural factors. It is a specific form of cultural assimilation that often includes a language shift.[1] The term applies not only to cultures, but also to individuals, as they acclimate to Arab culture and become "Arabized". I know you hate it when I have a second take on your post, but this would be great for your education. It contains all the links I will be using.
Arab migration into Palestine
Egyptian Migration (1830s–1840s) During the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha of Egypt, significant changes occurred in the Levant, including Palestine. Between 1829 and 1841, thousands of Egyptian peasants (fellahin) migrated to Palestine, fleeing conscription and forced labor imposed by Muhammad Ali. This migration was further intensified during Egypt's occupation of Palestine from 1831 to 1840. Even after the Egyptian withdrawal, many of these migrants remained, particularly in coastal cities like Jaffa and Gaza. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographic_history_of_Palestine_(region)
Migration from Syria, Lebanon, and Transjordan (Late 19th – Early 20th Century) The late Ottoman period saw increased migration from neighboring regions into Palestine. Factors such as economic opportunities, improved transportation, and political stability attracted migrants.

1. You keep fooling yourself. You just pasted a writeup that says non Arabs become Arabs yet you insist that Palestinians are not Arabs. Even by this standard, Palestinians are Arabs? If a non Arab somehow becomes an Arab but a nobody on Nairaland is arguing that he is not an Arab, to me, such a person needs his head checked.
2. Now continue your writeup by posting evidence of the Arabization of the Palestinians. The Palestinians are not even mentioned in your Wikipedia writeup. So please provide evidence of. A. The Arabization of the Palestinians B. The timeline of the Arabization
DrAda: Lol. Zero class. Well, let's at least give thanks that Obama's portrait didn't trigger another tariff-sharing induced mania
I am sure you don't even have an idea of who's portrait hang on the walls of Aso rock. But we are ready to fight for a portrait in the white house and we call Trump petty.
helinues: So all portraits of past USA president should be removed because?
It's his home. He is in charge of the decor. Let's not distract ourselves reading too much meaning to this. Well Trump is the expert. He knows this will trigger people like you and the media. This would be all you guys will talk about today. For me, I am more concern with the important stuff and not how one chooses to decorate his walls.
Oga it's no big deal. You decorate your home with the portraits of those you love. When a new president comes that loves Obama like you do, he will replace it. No need to read too much meaning. It's Trump's home for now. Let him do the decor as he pleases. There is a reason why you may not have my portrait in your home
God1000: They may move the portrait, but they can never erase Obama’s intellect, elegance, moral integrity, and most importantly, the two dignified terms he served with utmost grace and distinction.
As hard as trump tries, he won't be able to replace history. He's already in the history books as the worst president. He should be proud of that. He broke a record.
The assassination attempt was all a hoax.
You love being offended. No one is moving Obama's place in your heart. When a new president comes that loves Obama as much as you do, he with return the portrait. Why does everything have to offend you. It's no big deal.
Jayboi: Bros go and rest. Who is claiming what here? You were here forming all woke supporting Trump's sudden reciprocal Tariff as if America was doing so bad. Economies rely on each other to survive. No country is an entire island and can survive on its own. Of course there would be emerging strong economies like china but did you think America attained that status just overnight? Abeg. Reread news of how America encouraged Apple to build factories and how they actually did in the US but check today, you just cant get that cheap labor and raw materials. We are all criticizing Bola Tinubu today but how many of us can survive the sudden austerity measures it brings along? I personally don't find it easy. Trump has said it and again it's all about power play. Forcing economies to the table and having some measure of control. Not that the American economy wud collapse if they don't have their factories running.
You wrote so much but not one addresses any of the points I made. It seems you are responding to what another person wrote. Now let me ask you, would you suggest the Nigerian government ends all tariffs? If you have no problem with the Nigerian tariffs system which is much bigger than that of US, doesn't that make you a hypocrite?
Jayboi: Only time will tell. Let's just wait and see who baulks first
That's what you should have said instead of claiming so real life experience. This is an experience that is completely new to all of us so there is no need to pretend that you something the rest of us don't
Krismas: Ridiculous. Arab is a GENETIC race of people, spread across a number of countries in the gulf of Arabia. Everyone in Saudi, Qatar and Yemen are Arabs. Palestinians are a different race of people. Palestinian is not a country but a people. So, if you say Palestinians are Arabs, then it should follow, that Arabs are Palestinians. Ghanaian is not a Nigerian. But both Ghanaian and Nigerian are African About Hamas charter, you are the one reading your narrow selfish meanings into it. What is clear, is that Palestinians are genetically distinct from Arabs, as an ethnic group of people Egyptians are genetically different from Arabs too

Again, do we believe a no body on Nairaland or do we believe the Arabs. Only a fool would take the words of Mr Nobody over the words of the Arabs. I choose not to be a fool. Again your logic is faulty. All Palestinians are Arabs not all Arabs are Palestinians. It's so simple so stop confusing yourself. All people from Ogun state are Yoruba not all Yorubas are from Ogun state
DeepSight: The bloodthirsty duo of the maniacal botragelad and the schizophrenic self hating slave tctrills will doubtless have several ogasms over this news.
Krismas: 1. Be talking nonsense. Britain has no right to sell land in Nigeria to anybody. UI land was not sold or bought by British. Any Palestinian land ottoman, Britain or Arabs sold to Rothschild or any Jew, is null and void.
2. The International court of Justice told Israel to vacate all Palestinian lands within 12months and pay reparations.
According to the new laws established by krismas of Nairaland, the British did not have legal rights to sell land in any of their colonies. But you know no one cares about your opinion. Just qoute or link us to any legal writing to prove your point. Again you are beginning to repeat yourself. This tells us that you have ran out of points so goodbye. Until next time.
No need to repeat your rubbish. There was no law that prevented colonizers from selling property. No to the topic of if Palestinians are Arabs, I am going to quote the words of Hajj Amin al-Husayni the leader of the Palestinians in the 40s. I am sure you know the idiot.
"Remember, Abbady, this was and will remain an Arab land. We do not mind you natives of the country, but those alien invaders, the Zionists, will be massacred to the last man." Zionism Israel
"I would also like to remind them that their efforts will be wasted if, God forbid, America and her Allies may be victorious in this war because at such a time the Arabs will never rise again." Jewish Virtual Library
"If those Allies win this war the Jewish influence will be the arbiter in the world resources and one can thus imagine the future of the Arabs and Moslems..."
Hajj Amin al-Husayni was not a zionist. You see why you lack credibility?
Krismas: I have asked you b4, Why do the Arabs not call themselves Palestinians? Can you go to Saudi and call the people there Palestinian? Its just the same way an Algerian was called French in the 50s. There is no genetic ties between an Arab and a Palestinian. Only Zionist lickspittles insist palestinians are Arabs, to further the Zionist LIES that Palestinians migrated from Saudi
What you are asking makes no sense. Why do the Arabs not call themselves Qatari? Arabs from Saudi Arabia can't call themselves Qatari just as Arabs from Yemen can't call themselves Saudi Arabians. Arabs from Egypt are not Syrians, yet they are all Arabs. Again, it was not the Zionists who wrote the Palestinian charter. It was written by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Trust me, they are in a better position to know if Palestinians are Arabs than you, an unknown Nigerian child.
Krismas: 2. U.I, Kings College and other institutions are nigerian government institution after Britain left. This is different from private property ownership like Zimbabwe farmers' land, as in the case of jews buying lands in palestine. Which is the topic, b4 u fraudulently tried to change it. 3. Arabs are those people living in the gulf of Arabia not in Palestine. Those in Palestine call themselves Palestinians, not Arabs. Their government is called Palestinian Liberation Organisation not Arab. So what are taking about? 4. The case b4 ICJ was Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian lands. And not only did court rule Israel to vacate all Palestine lands, Israel was also told to pay damages to Palestinians. So what are u talking about?
1. No difference property moved from one government to the next. It never went back to the indigenous community. 2. They never ruled on the fraudulent land case
Krismas: In the very first paragraph, they tell you that they are Arabs. So do we listen to krismas or do we listen to the Palestinians? Here is the text in case you don't have time to click the link. Article 1. Palestine is an Arab homeland bound by strong Arab national ties to the rest of the Arab Countries and which together form the great Arab homeland.
Article 2: Palestine, with its boundaries at the time of the British Mandate, is a indivisible territorial unit.
Article 3: The Palestinian Arab people has the legitimate right to its homeland and isan inseparable part of the Arab Nation. It shares the sufferings and aspirations of the Arab Nation and its struggle for freedom, sovereignty, progress and unity.
4. Palestinians have already gone to the INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE and Israel lost and were told
ignorant liar trying to form enlightener of others?
Palestinians are not Arabs. They have no genetic ties to Arabs. Palestinian were colonized by Arabs. Just like we were colonized by the British. Palestinians have cultural, linguistic and religious ties to Arabs. thats why they are called arabs. but its only from the linguistic, cultural and religious point of view. what the likes of tctrills can never understand, is that arabs sought an empire, stretching all the way from middle east to africa, where everyone will be arabs, bound by same language, religion and culture. but the success of this arab intentions, is limited. palestinains are not arabs, just as red indians are not indians.
Palestinians call themselves Arabs, but Krismas knows better. Again, see how the Palestinians address themselves in their charter
28 May 1964 We, the Palestinian Arab people, who waged fierce and continuous battles to safeguard its homeland, to defend its dignity and honor, and who offered all through the years continuous caravans of immortal martyrs, and who wrote the noblest pages of sacrifice, offering and giving. We, the Palestinian Arab people, who faced the forces of evil, injustice and aggression, against whom the forces of international Zionism and colonialism conspire and worked to displace it, dispossess it from its homeland and property, abused what is holy in it and who in spite of all this refused to weaken or submit. We, the Palestinian Arab people, who believe in its Arabism and in its right to regain its homeland, to realize its freedom and dignity, and who have determined to amass its forces and mobilize its efforts and capabilities in order to continue its struggle and to move forward on the path of holy war (al-jihad) until complete and final victory has been attained,
2. How many lands Britain sold in Nigeria wen they were colonial master, are still in the hands of the buyers? The ones in Kenya, Zimbabwe and recently South Africa are losing all their colonial acquired lands
3. Arabs are colonial masters in Palestine too. Palestinians are not Arabs. Here is a link to the Palestinian national charter https://yaf.ps/page-1513-en.html

4. Palestinians have already gone to the INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE and Israel lost and were told to vacate all Palestinian lands within 12months
Your question 2 has no importance to the subject. Just so you know, lands sold before, the end of colonial rule remains binding unless the new Government of the day changes the law. That's why the communities no longer have claim to the lands in UI, kings college and other institutions built by the British. These communities did not lay claim even after the British left.
3. Your point here is fallacy. The Palestinians see themselves as Arabs. I would listen to a Palestinian before I listen to you. Unless you are the one to teach them their history. So let's ignore you here.
4. You just lied. The Palestinians have never taken the fraudulent land case to the international court of Justice. It was a very different case. You are mixing up your legal cases. In fact, the only lands the ICJ consider Palestinian lands are in Gaza and the West bank. So get your cases right.
Krismas: Just to let you know i didn't see beyond ur first statement. Sultan Abdulhamid II Was overthrown in a coup sponsored by Rothschild And the British later repelled Sultan Abdulhamid's ban on Jews. So adjust your views first and then revert
Oga you said that the Ottoman sold land to the Jews so please mention the ottoman leader responsible for selling the land? Sultan Abdulhamid II coup is so irrelevant here. It doesn't matter if it was he or his predecessor as long as it was the ottoman government that sold the land to the Jews. So what really is your point.
Krismas: You did not read any link. Else, you would have seen Sultan Abdulhamid II had a law, banning Jews from buying land in Palestine. Rothschild bought most of the nationalized lands, after he sponsored a coup against Sultan Abdulhamid II And the foolish young Turks who usurped the Sultan sold it, only to regret their actions almost immediately. Ottoman cannot sell land in Palestine, long story short. Jews did more than forging passport to buy land, and i owe you no prove. Any link i give you, you will still say its the opinion of the writer. So no need to bother. To wrap dis up, 1. U cannot buy land anywhere for the purpose of creating a country. 2. Ottoman and Britain cannot sell Palestinian lands. 3. All sales of land not approved by Palestinian authority is null and void. 4. Let Israel go and present their land ownership certificate to hamas as proof of ownership
Oga you are confused. You claim that Sultan Abdulhamid II ban the sale of ottoman land and yet you again said that the ottoman sold the land to the Jews. Oga is everything alright? Again the idea that the ottoman or British who were the government have no right to sell the land the oversee makes no sense. Under colonial law, the government had the power to sell any land the wanted to. I also gave you examples of Arabs land owners selling up the land. I gave you the example of The Sursock family. So no matter how you look at it, you have no point. Your point 4 is the most stupid I have read today. Israel has no business presenting anything to Hamas but death. Take them to court if you feel they wrongly acquired the land.
olawonder: TravelingIsrael is a blog paid for by Campaign4Israel… look, these people from the time Israel began to exist as a country has no connection to the land whatsoever! The Palestinians are indigenous to the land by ancestry and their faith doesn’t matter… they could be Jewish, Christian or Muslim. I commend your efforts to pull out just what you wanted to see on YouTube but spend few more years doing your research, you’ll understand, it’s my last reply. Cheers
I don't care who pays for it as long as it's correct. Is there anything said in that video that is factually incorrect? Again, the Palestinians are not Jewish. They are Arab. The same Arabs that captures and colonized Morroco Tunisia Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq,. They came from the Arabian peninsula colonizer the entire middle east and north Africa.
Krismas: U have no point. You just like arguing senselessly. I gave u a link to understand the modes the jews achieved the lands. But apparently, u too lazy to even read the article, let alone understand it. Else thats what the discussion should have been centered around now. And not your fake lies. Jews never had any permission from the Ottoman government to buy land. Jews bought lands that were gazetted as state lands. Its all in the article Abi, what else do you need to be told about buying the 3rd mainland bridge? Cos u know so much about figure of speech, yet u don't know buying a bridge is one
I read your link and it's not saying anything special. Again, it's an opinion piece from what I believe is a newspaper. The writer like you could not prove that any land was bought illegally. I have given you all day to show me a link that mentions even one Jew as forging a passport but you can't. So how can we believe you and the writer of your link. I asked you how come the Palestinians and the ottoman did not try the Jews who forged their passport in court, no reply. Now you claim that Jews never had the permission to buy land from the ottoman but you earlier told me that the Jews bought the land from the ottoman. How are both events possible. Now you are bringing up a new thing, you claim they bought state land. My question is, can't state land be bought? Please provide a link that shows the list of Jews that bought fraudulent lands.
Krismas: I was using figure of speech to imply Jews bought nothing. If i say AM ALL EARS. Does that mean am an ear? If you have been to court b4, you would have realized dat you have to prove ur case on its own merit. And not on anything the opposing party said or did. Even if i said am a thief, you have to prove to d court that I stole from you. He said he is a thief is irrelevant. What is the prove israel bought lands in Palestine? Who buys land to form a nation?
Oga do yourself a favor are find the meaning of figure of speech. Stop being an ignoramus. You and the link you presented agree that Jews bought half of the land in Palestine. I understand that you are no longer comfortable with that opinion but it is what it is. Now you have to produce evidence that their purchase was fraudulent. Go ahead and give it your best shot. I wonder why I have to be the one to prove my defence when you are the accuser. If you earlier testified that the Jews bought land from the ottoman, why do I need to prove that again? What kind of court is that. I only need to agree with you. But when you accuse me of fraudulent behavior, it's up to you to prove it. Do you now understand how the courts work?
olawonder: You keep tagging me in your debates, you probably want to engage me still because you thought the half-backed history you have won you the debate…. it’s the very reason i ignored you, especially when I saw sending wikipidia links! Look, you need to first have an open mind, then have genuine intention to seek the true historical facts about the Israeli/palestinian conflict without any religious bigotry or bias, then maybe you’ll know the truth. And pls do yourself a favour, research with scholarly resources (available all over net) and real footages from proper historians (available on YouTube)… NOT wikipidia! I lived in the mist of these people for 25yrs, I had been to Jerusalem (on a Muslim pilgrimage) and I had extensively followed news more than a decade…
In Palestine, there are indigenous people from the three Abrahamic faiths, all Arabs, till date many still don’t know there are Arab Jews (as there are Ethiopian, Pasian, Levantis and European Jews). There are those who migrated to the land (for protection from prosecution, who had to pay Jizya under the Islamic rule at the time) there were those migrated for religious purposes, and then there those who were pushed into the land because they were not wanted in Europe after WW2, and then there those want the land because of some beliefs of a messiah returning and the land needs purging of others in order for that to happen… and so on, and so forth!
Now you claim you get your facts from YouTube so let me help you with some YouTube videos. Thank me later.
Please let me know if you need more videos since you prefer to watch than to read Again, you present yourself as one without bias but we both know it's fake. I have given you the opportunity to express yourself and all you keep doing is asking me to watch YouTube as if you kept anything there. If you honestly knew nothing about the conflict, it's ok for you to keep quiet, follow the conversation and learn from others. Stop asking me to go to YouTube.
