Lucioustrish my son is in d same condition, av been in d hospital since I gave birth. we just got home from hospital, but went for check up yesterday D levels started rising again. Pls any home remedy for this. My baby's jaundice is caused by ABO incompatibility. Am o+ and he's B+. He has been on phototherapy for 5 days. At a point they were talking of blood transfusion but God took charge and it started dropping b4 we were discharged. Now it's rising again.
I believe God will help us this time. Any mama that has home remedy for this should Pls throw more light.

Sorry to hear about your baby. It was suspected in mine and was told to come back to the hospital for check up but before then, we strip him to his diapers and my mum will carry him under the early morning sun for days, by the time we went for check up, he was cleared....... Then i heard you can drink unripe pawpaw water while he sucks it from your breast. I pray the result comes back reduced. God is your strength.

Wow!!! Am screaming here too. My prayers and thoughts were with you.......even when i went back to be induced on 25th, i still thought of you praying you had safe delivery. am glad you are ok now. Congrats once again.
I can so relate with all you went through.......be thankful you spent just a day there o my sister......i spent 5days, i must to cry everyday not even due to the pains i was in but the nurses non challant attitude and negligence. I was warned too o by doctors from another hospital but it was too late as my HMO was registered with them and then i thought it must be the bad eggs among them thats giving such bad impression as i was impressed by the neat surroundings and ANC was ok all through.
In all, thank God we are ok with our LOs.

@tipsyjules...... This happened on sept 20th bah? I was there too on that day for my last ANC and i rem the doctor saying it was his birthday as he was about to do VE for me. I met a lady outside the ward that am thinking its you sef.......we talked and she told me her hubby was out of country and she's waiting to be in full labour before asking the mil to come but the driver was around. Was that you?

I pray all ATCs mums will also experience this joy of motherhood in Jesus Name.

hmm it was d same asokoro dat I went n d sent me away..I trust d doc at the private hospital but I don't know y DH will not allow me give birth dia.ill try d general hospital at maraba,if I get accepted,den I'll just relocate to the maraba axis since we also have a house dia..am staying at mabushi for now

Since you are staying at mabushi, you can try gwarinpa general hosp. They have capable hands there too. Federal staff jabi will also accept you but there is extra charges and honestly we are too much there, am already dreading ANC tomorrow.

@myths, i believed the plantain and oka own for a while oooo but at a point, my intense love for plantain no gree me.....started eating my plantain end of 2nd trimester.

Dont know how its related but my pcv that refused to rise from btw 32-34 for months suddenly jumped to 38 when i started taking the everyday fesolate and folic acid cos of high price of pregnacare. Like other mamas said, diet is also important, lots of fruits..... Preferably blend to smoothie, veggies and milk/biscuit bone for calcium.
I wish all September mamas save delivery. We will all come rejoicing with our Los in Jesus Name.

Birth alert,gave birth to a baby boy thru elective cs.weighing 4kg ,but scan told me 2,9.wish all mother's safe delivery.

Congrats sexyshe and to all other mamas that have droppedm God bless your LOs. Mehn, scan can lie tho #scary. Mine saying 2.8kg @36weeks and i was happy.....Praying its true. Have cut down my carb, want a 3.2kg baby. We are 37weeks and a day today.....God be praised!!!

Lovely BS @babythug. Thank God it ended in praise. Have read about birthing on fours.....that its one of the easiest/safest way to birth but it's a pity most hosp wouldnt even consider the option but the usual on the back and looking at one's navel.....issh.

Yes they will. If others are paying 40k(just got increased from 30k ds week) for vjay delivery, yours might just be 50k. Please go on time.....they register new ANC patients every friday tho. Go early on friday.

Abuja mamas please recommend a good ultrasound centre where i can do a gender scan and be sure of the result.

You can check echoscan, 3k or medicaid, 3k5. Did mine at medicaid and saw everything clearly on the screen with my eyes.
