As a house officer when our salaries varied from 60k - 90k per month, house officers in Ghana were earning 1000 usd this was when dollar was 160 or so that's 160k.. Of course some sharp Nigerians went to do their housemanship there...

In this country... Apart from politicians the most highly paid workers are the Doctors.
But every now them you hear them going for strike up and down.
I want you to go to a government hospital today and search for a Doctor if you will see any.

Why?
Because, they have all gone to their private hospitals.
You see this doctors earn from the FG and also from their private hospitals.

So they should look into their action and reframe from striking order wise FG will send them to farming.

Hospitals in Nigeria that are owned by state and LG areas find it difficult to fund them,selves because the patients pay very low hospital fees....and this has a bad effect on the budget.

Then there is the fact that funding from the state has fallen due to oil price shortfall.

In my opinion, teaching hospitals should be privatized....so that govt can focus on primary and secondary health care.

All most people know is that things are worse since buhari took over... people are being owed salaries and yet things are more expensive..

Meanwhile, recovered are not funds FG can expend at will. Some of the funds will only be available when the cases are concluded. Some are under interim forfeiture. Some are attached with conditions especially those coming in from abroad. If the recovered loots are eventually available it will also probably be shared according to allocation sharing formula.

Buhari has done 2 years in govt... we should be hearing words like "jailed" " sent on life imprisonment without parole " " death sentence without appeal". and we should also start seeing the evidence that loot has been recovered and re-distributed to the masses via social welfare programs and quality infrastructure. Yes it is possible to have TB without cough. TB is actually mycobacterium tuberculosis which can affect any organ in the body. It however commonly affects the lung that is why cough is a common symptom . This type that affects the lung is called pulmonary TB. There can be abdominal TB, TB of the spine and so on.. these are called extrapulmonary TB..I hope I have been of some help.

It is quite disheartening that this government is playing with the health of its citizens and cmds are now like gods that report to no one and cannot be cautioned.. as I speak..many health workers have not been paid for months.. while other sane climes pay attention to the welfare of their health workers. The Nigerian government cannot do the basic welfare which is pay wages. Yet they are quick to claim the glory of Nigerian doctors who have been groomed by responsible governments in other countries. Nigerians need to speak up for their health care work force. All this nonesense has to stop.
