Whatever he is a Lagos and SW hero.. deal with it HopeAtHand: Tinubu owes his popularity partly to Obasanjo.
Had Obasanjo been abit more democratic in his dealings with Tinubu and Lagos and released their allocation and avoided unnecessary fights with Tinubu, Tinubu would have exited the scene as every other ex-governor and not as a lagos hero. |

I am certain I will learn.. obj has written two influential books in two years.. wonder if jonathan can ever write anything worth reading.. owobokiri: Like a little boy whose ball was stolen at the play ground by the resident bullies, tinubu is throwing tantrums all over the place and it is too early for NADECO politics. . They want to percify him for the moment. When things settle, he will be thrown into the dustbin of history where he rightly belongs. A year's time is being too optimistic, they will need bailout in 3 months time.. I have nothing against buhari bailing out these states if just to ease the suffering of the poor workers who hunger has finished but my problem is that this bailout is not tied to any conditions.. or penalties for mismanagement.. Mogidi: Curiously Buhari never asked Aregbese and his son Kabiru what they did with their allocation. In a years time same people would still need bailouts. |

You and your fellow Biafrans of the land of the setting sun are the ones playing ostrich, if u think pple jus decided to gang up against jonathan for no reason except that he was from the south south.. u didn't remember that his govt was corrupt, lopsided, and Boko Haram did not make this battle easier..better stop playing victim and move ur region forward like the SW is moving forward.. carnegiefan: Those chanting "true federalism" (like the author of this article) are totally deluded. It is too late for that. During the elections, honest people seriously campaigned to counter the narrative that the Buharist change was what Nigeria needed. The selfish people in the SW decided to play ostrich because their brother was on the Buhari ticket. Today they are crying alongside those with genuine grievance.
Ochereome, please this is not your fight. Your Ohanaeze leaders had a well articulated proposal for restructuring Nigeria which they submitted to the constitutional conference last year. Jonathan was going to implement that recommendation but the North does not want that.In fact that was the most important reason the North and SW ganged up on Jonathan, and he lost the election. You seem to be waking up now to punch the air on this topic, but while you are at it, please give credit to the person that deserves it (the person or group that gave you this forceful insight) - Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra and IPOB. |

Let me tell u loud and clear. We voted against your thieving Jonathan. So frigging what.. if given the chance, we will vote against him again.. nonesense.. we shud vote him so that he will implement the confab.. Go tell that to the kindergarten government followers.. he had 6 years.. if he had anything serious to do.. *singing* owuro lojor Eni ma rire o.. Eni ma rire o... hansad: Jonathan's CONFAB restructured Nigeria politically such that there shall be equity between the old northern region and the old southern region in political representation. And the equity must ensure that the north shall no longer have its present near-veto powers over Nigeria's matters, less so, in the National Assembly.
Jonathan pleaded to the SW in Lagos last presidential election campaign to vote and retain his government so that the CONFAB's recommendations shall be implemented by the new NASS, since the outgoing NASS was hostile to the CONFAB. But no dice. SW votes gave Buhari victory.
Now, PMB may not touch the CONFAB recommendations - even with a long spoon. That's the SW and its much-vaunted political sophistication for you. |

Politics › Re: 'why They Are Attacking Bola Tinubu': Analysis By Danladi Daniels by teamchocolate: 4:19pm On Jul 06, 2015 |
Only your first paragraph makes any sense..tinubu is a visionary.. he gave governance a new face.. you can take other things away from him but one thing you can't take is that he knows how to deploy resources both human and material to make the best of things.. and the fact that u dare to disrespect the yoruba culture of prostrating shows that you are an ethnic bigot.. culture is culture and is amoral.. no culture is good or bad... no culture is better than the others.... lastly I also disagree with you that Buhari is the worst thing to have happened to Nigeria.. only time will tell that.. Atlantian: I, have to state as follows;
That the piloting members of APC who are presently influencing the policies are PDP-blooded members who use APC membership to orchestrate their agenda. Tinubu has no capabilities of controlling these group.
It is also noteworthy that Tinubu, as opined is not visionary, he is a blind bat and adventurist, who expected to nominate a cabal that is capable of threatening the Daura President with impeachment if he goes against his detects, but does Tinubu think he can fool anyone outside the Yoruba hypnotic enclaves where elders are worshiped but not respected ? Have you ever seen a Hausa man, Fulani, Igboman, Efik man, Ibibio man, Urhobo man etc who will want his kids to lie down on the floor as a greeting dogma to worship him ? Hell No. You can fo0l the Yorubas 100 times but you cant a Niger Deltan/Biafran 2ice. When the Northerners realised his plans they relegate him and he is just hiding in shame but will like his fans to believe it is a strategy. It is not a strategy cos he has just diversted majority shares of Oando in fear that he could loose it to any anti-corruption justice, but he doesnt know that Buhari is a complete dullard, who rode on the glory on the reputation of Tunde Idiagbon has refused to take anyone's advise to assign Ministers. How can an illiterate run a country with thousands of professors and millions of Degrees when he basically does not have O'Level.
Buhari remains the worst thing to happen to any nation. This is badluck, and all those who voted for this mor0ns will not be forgiven. Jega must pay for this. |
