Priority application but it took exactly 1 month.

Depression almost set in when my school (University of Sunderland) gave a resumption deadline of the 14th October but I got my collection mail on the same day that the school changed the deadline to 21st of October. God is good and he came through eventually.

Empty NSF 3 weeks ago but the reality is that they abandoned my application, I just found out today.

Hello everyone, please who has UKVI contact? Paid for priority visa since 21st... though they sent a mail for more docs on 26th which was sent on 27th. Since then, nothing! Please I need some advice on what to do.

Honestly, I wonder what's going on at UKVI, the whole process is currently a mess.

I'm experiencing similar issue did bio August 20, no NSF yet no decision. Monday will be 15 working day after escalation. We can only hope for the best

You only need to show a minimum of 28 days proof of funds, the more the merrier I think.

Does UK student visa require a mandatory 3 months statement? Is 2 months statement enough? Thanks for the response.

Just ask if a decision has been made on your application. For me, their response was “A decision hasn’t been made” despite paying for priority and biometrics on the 12th September.

Please I got an empty nsf on the 5th day after my biometrics..my bank called me two days later to tell me that UK embassy sent them mail asking if my statement of account is genuine. Today makes it 10 working days and anxiety wants to kill me here.

Please can I do a paid call/mail today being the 10th day or I should wait till after the 15 days??

Yes you can pay at tls, I think it's about 42k.

Biometrics- 21st September ( my spouse did walk in with me)
.No paid calls
.No not straightforward mails
Decision made for both I and my spouse(priority)- 23rd September
Received by VAC- 27th September
Visas sitting pretty on our passports �,received today .
After all the USA study rejections ,after all the stress ,money and anxiety ,my GOD did it for us .Omeihukwu JESUS!!!receive all the glory .

Congratulations! I did my biometrics on the 12th (priority) and decision hasn’t been made yet. I’m sure they won’t refund my £250. Just forget the priority fee, they won’t refund you.

Time to ask for refund of my priority payment kuz there is nothing priority in my application...

As at the day of my biometrics (12th September) people did walk-in and you can pay with card or cash.

That's weird, It might be a glitch in their system.

On the tracking site, my passport is ready to be picked
But application received by vac is still marked as red
What does this mean?
All others are marked green except the above
And I've gotten the tlc passport pickup alert.

I paid for priority as well, biometrics was on the 12th at Ikeja tls, I received an empty nsf on the 15th. Sent them a 2nd paid mail today though…it’s a mess.

Does anyone have any advise on what to do? Please share cos I’m not getting value from this priority payment and I’m sure they won’t refund me my £250, thank!

I sent a mail on Monday and I was told that a decision hasn't been made, my plan is to send another mail on Monday.

My success story
April 1 - Biometric date
N.B - 2 previous visitors visa refusal

May 12- student Visa refusal -Reason given was the attached bank statement explaining the circumstances of previous visa refusal was a falsified document.

May 12- complaint made to Bank as it was not a falsified bank statement.

May 13- Bank replied they contacted UK embassy and they acknowledged the error on their part hence they revoked the refusal.

May 13- June 22 (several mail sent to UKVI and they claimed they have made decision on my application ). Pleaded for it to be escalated as I haven’t gotten my passport back buh they said due to Ukraine war, they couldn’t escalate.

June 22- complaint made to home office but it took 20 working days to get a response from them.

July 21- They finally responded and they apologized and explained that the visa was issued May 13 but due to administrative oversight, it wasn’t passed to next stage.

July 26- picked up my passport with visa buh couldn’t use it to travel as school claimed I couldn’t meet up again with April class despite series of online lectures I attended . Online Lectures was only stopped first week July .
School advised I have to request another CAS and make a fresh visa application.

July 27- I mailed Home office again via complaint review stating my displeasure about how they made me miss out my resumption due to error from there part..I was also preparing for another application so I started another POF journey cos school won’t release another CAS without POF evidence.

August 16- I requested CAS from school cos I know it might take 2weeks for them to release it.

August 23 - Home office replied that I should get CAS for another course date for them to revoke the present visa and reissue another one. Earlier that day Sheffield team messaged too also demanding new CAS to be sent to the mail they provided within 10 working days.
The POF I started earlier and also the CAS I requested earlier too helped. School frustrated me delaying the CAS. They finally released it after several calls.

August 30- CAS was released and I forwarded it to UKVI as requested.

September 8- British High Commission called I should submit my passport back which I rushed to submit that same day.

September 11- BRP details was sent to my mail . I was expecting mail from TLS for pick up for close to 2 weeks but no mail. So I felt since my BRP details was already sent to me and I didn’t go through the normal process. Let me risk going to TLS to check it myself.

September 21- I finally picked my passport with New visa issued.

It wasn’t an easy journey but God came through for me.

I actually used western union Global pay to pay for my tuition, you go to the website, generate receipt and then use it to fill ur Form A.
The receipt will show deadline of 3 days but it does not matter.
Am also Jan Applicant and have paid mine using form A.

You should confirm the deadline for resumption from the school.

I’ve had similar mails even though mine was a standard visa. It took a while to be resolved.

When it’s time please follow up with paid calls

If you notice you may not make it on time, please notify the school on options for deferring if you can’t make it before the deadline

I did my biometrics on the 12th of September (Priority) and I received this NSF mail just now.

School resumes on Tuesday, should I be worried? Has anyone received similar mail, how soon did you get your decision?

If u did priority/standard and it has exceeded stipulated time, and you have gotten a decision but yet to transfer to VAC

That would determine what you need to go with not if you paid for priority

Priority only reduces your decision waiting timeline
