If it says the same,they might ask her to come back in 2wks time to check d progress of the pregnancy.if the baby is still nt growing then she should agree to do an evacuation.I have seen a lot of women give birth with fibroid. bt hers is different cos the baby is not growing.

10weeks of empty gestational sac could denote

A blighted ovum or may be failed early cyesis.

How ever she should give it at least 2weeks den rescan

Most cases

Der may have been embryonic growth retardation.

Have seen cases where at 10weeks no embryo den after 12weeks der is fetus.

So give it more two weeks den rescan for final opinion.


As for the treat that the fibroid may cause all depends on the size and the position in the uterus.

I'm not neither a doctor nor a health personnel. I just want to share the testimony of how my wife gave birth safely even with fibroid diagnosed.

We trusted God for the pregnancy for over a year after wedding. Each scan says she has 3 fibroids and it may be difficult to be pregnant. She went for different procedure but to know avail. We started praying . To the glory of God, she got pregnant. It first looked like a dream to me but indeed it was pregnancy.

After the pregnancy was confirmed, the doctors started preparing her mind for possible c/s becos fibroid is a major threat to pregnancy. Yet we never succumbed to fear, we kept believing and trusting God that He was the one who did it there and he would perfect it.

To the glory of God again, the sixth month scan did not pick any fibroid again. The three fibroids disappeared. The doctors asked how possible?

Monthly scan afterwards show everything in good condition up to time of birth and To the glory of God again the baby was delivered safely without any issue of any sort.

Please, I don't know your faith but I have a God who can make impossibilities possible. I have a Jesus who can alter negative doctors reports. I have a saviour who can frustrate the tokens of the liars and make the diviners mad over your wife and your baby unborn. Call on him and he will answer you.

I'm not preaching a church to you but go to God genuinely in prayers, and if you have a bible believing church, go to your pastor for prayers. The best is for yourself and your wife pray and agree that all will be well and it shall be well in Jesus Name. Amen.

Bro pls in the name of God you serve, go for another scan my baby was pregant only for us to go for scan the Doc said the baby in her womb is @ the back. He was advising us to flush it, we told him we are coming on our way going we decide to go for another scan to God be the gorly we have twins inside the womb...... I laugh and tank God. Pls go for another scan

Op don't panic. Just ensure you have a second review by experienced doctors. I remember doing a scan at a well established diagnostic center, diagnosis was I had placenta separation. That's how hubby and I rushed to the hospital, a second scan was done, turns out I had placenta previa. Just pray, don't fret and see another radiologist tomorrow. By the way, this u/S report should have been typed, this handwriting is horrible.

Op, it's good you have decided on seeking a second opinion, and in a teaching hospital for that matter.
Had same issues with my first sons pregnancy, the first scan was talking about aborting it.
On second and third opinion, things became different.
I have a healthy boy from that pregnancy, he will be 4yrs on Wednesday.
Seek a second opinion, and pray.

Your wife is healed in Jesus name. Declare her free from any form of fibroid and do another test. Believe in God. That fibroid is turned to a baby in Jesus name. It is not there anymore. Amen

I think he is just trying to sample opinions and possibly see if anyone has encountered such before and know how they dealt with it.
