iPhone is thrash but y'all Android fanboys make it the standard to compare your "flawless" devices with. It's almost like you can't wait to compare your Android flagships with iPhones; why compare if you think your flagships are better?

Let's not be too quick to start this whole "who did it first" battle. 2018 iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max also had eSim feature. That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm saying that Samsung might ditch physical SIM altogether, just like Apple did, in their S23 lineup.

and for the second point. What happens if you run out of power on your device? unlike the removable sim cards which you can pop out and place in a spare phone, this is stagnant and that spells doom for anybody.
but thank you for the information. am sure there would be better updates on the esim in the future but for now, I think it's best not to go full on it.

Enough space to take some hardware features. Think about the new gyroscope sensor that helps detect auto crash. This is just one of the few things that could replace the space taken by the SIM port.

Also, not having a SIM card port will help increase how resistant a phone is to water and dust. It may seem too much for the world to accept right now, but it's not a wrong thing to do.

Remember when SIM cards and memory cards came from the regular size down to the nano? Everyone ranted about the the decrease in size, but it helped make phones slimmer.

Better battery life
Better screen with 120hz
Better camera quality (12 pro max doesn't have a macro lens; it doesn't have cinematic mode too)

This isn't informed bro. eSim may look to many like it will make life complicated, but it's the other way round

Setting up an eSim on your phone takes only about 15 minutes. Here are its benefits:

1. It IMPROVES security. No one can just steal your phone and pop out your SIM card when the SIM is programmed on the phone. With this, you have network during the most crucial timeframe after you can't find your phone (God forbid).

2. You can have multiple SIM cards on your phone, and you can easily switch to them without having to pop out your SIM.

3. There will be more room in devices, which will encourage more hardware upgrades.

The only disadvantages of eSims are when you're running out of battery and you have a spare phone that isn't eSim compatible, you may not have the best experience.

Also, if your phone suddenly stopped working, there might be an issue getting your contacts. But this can be corrected through eSim software upgrades (Google already and Apple back contacts up)

iPhones do not need DXO mark ratings, just like they've chosen to use their ceramic glass over the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Not getting the "quality" components from known companies does not necessarily mean that they're doing worse.

Also, battery on iPhones age the same way (at times better, since iPhones barely generate heat) other phones do. Many people would have ran for the hills, if Google had included a way to check battery health in the Android software.

Other things you said are bollocks. Leave sentiments and try a recent iPhone.

If mtn transmit their 5G via band 78 that's means my phone support it.

You can actually force it. I once forced it on my Samsung S21 FE.

dial *#2263#, click on LTE band preference and unmark everything, except band 78. Click on "Go main". Click on "Apply band configuration" and click on "Apply".

NB: I'm not responsible for whatever damage you cause your phone.

I'm suspecting my pjone doesn't support MTN 5G bandwidth

MTN has several 4G bands (7,20, and 42). Several Samsung phones only support first 2 bands.

MTN 5G is NSA, and it seems to have been tied to their band 42. You won't get 5G until it's extended to MTN's other bands that your phone supports.

Most Xiaomi uses currently enjoy the 5G because their phones support all MTN 4G bands.

You probably won't even notice you're carrying a LCD screen, unless you hold it side-by-side with a phone using OLED or AMOLED, that's where you'll notice a slight deference.

iPhone 11 is an overall nice device, but if you'd used an iPhone X, 11 pro or higher, you'll notice that the iPhone bezel is thicker. Use it for a week and you won't notice that anymore.

I can use IR blaster as remote on my phone to control my DStv and and TV which helps in the stress of looking for remotes.

Connecting xender from your android with pc doesnt work 50 percent of the time, if iphone can do this flawlessly, i will switch.

It feels natural and very convenient connecting your andoid phone with pc quickly via usb especially when you activated usb debugging mode and sharing the files ASAP. This is the only reason i am stuck with my samsung

I understand you though. But at the end of the day, we all agree that it boils down to individual user preferences.

iPhones don't need debugging because you don't need to flash a custom recovery, root it or do ADB stuff. The only times you need your lightening cord is when you want to jailbreak, or when you mess up your jailbreak, OR when you're a windows user with an iPhone.
