I love the discussions and deliberations going on here. Hopefully, it should continue in a mature way.

I have also journeyed into the data analysis world. I have been learning haphazardly and am here and there but I intend to build a portfolio as a new entrant.

I have learnt Excel and still learning.
I have learnt SQL up to Intermediate stage but I have left it to go back to excel being a sine-qua-none- prerequisites to data analysis.
I touched the theoretical part of Python

This week, by His grace, I want to work on a data set.

Guys, so you mind if I create a WhatsApp group for us as learners to interact?!

It would be lovely!

Creating a WhatsApp group won't be a bad idea if it will have good rules & regulations to follow & benefit from it.

As for me, all I know is excel to an average level, but you guys have inspired me, and I'm going for it. cool wink

2. AN IDEA FOR ANYONE:
Get a 50kg bag of rice. Make sure you get a good quality rice especially Indian or Pakistani rice which is very good, though cheaper but have almost the same quality as Thai rice.
You can then repack the rice into small attractive nylons in 500g to 1kg and distribute to supermarkets or even retailers in your neighbourhood. You could also create a niche by supplying retailers that are located on Campuses of higher Institutions. Diagram of what it could look like is as shown below. This was an idea I got from Germany where I buy rice in the mall.

However, there could be a new twist to this. How? You can decide to make it into something like indomie which has flavours and sauce to cook it. In the case of rice, you could add sauce like Jollof rice but better if you can get Fried rice recipe and put it into your rice package with little description of how they could make fried rice with it, that could be a good selling point. However, in this case, you might have to reduce the quantity of the packaged rice to 150g to 200g which can be enough to make a big plate of fried rice. This is an idea that could be exploited and your potential markets for these are Schools, Banks (for bankers who have no time to do serious cooking at home after work).

For rice packaging only, you can start with as little as N15,000. You get a bag of rice for N9,500. Get packaging nylons with attractive prints such as an indomie nylon. You can get such for about N1,500 for 100-200 pieces depending on your negotiating power anyway. The rest is for other logistic purposes. Package and seal it up and market it. This is a new idea and product of yours and you can make a household name from this. You need to be proactive, dont just say you will do it. BUT START NOW!

Expect more...soonest...

More ideas and details are packaged in a write-up. PM me for more details.

@ OP,tanx dis is good info 4 a start,i seem to be more interested in d snail biz,pls post ur contact so we can get across to u if need be.

nunicelady: I don't believe your wife and yourself should allow finances put a wedge in your home. Counseling is a. Step in the right direction and I commend you for that.
I also believe that regardless of what you or your wife believes, you are a man and should decide how your home should be run. Forget percentages for now. Calculate how you need for yourself, how much you need to keep for emergencies, kids school fees and savings for your future or a project for your retirement. Give your wife the balance (within reason), let her know that is all you can afford as you need to think of the future of your family. She would need to prepare a monthly budget with what you gave her. My brother no one would tell her to add her own money when the need arises. Every woman wants the best future for herself n her family. She would not want you to spend all you have without planning for tomorrow. I wish your home the very best. God bless your home.

Omo Alata:

My mum is very cunning. When people/family call her and talk to her about the way she is treating her children, she will bow her head, she will be very humble, she will shed tears and promise/vow to change. She will say she'll never curse her children again. Everybody will get up from the meeting happy that the situation has been resolved. After that meeting, mum will harden her heart like the heart of Pharoah and double her curses. If it's not so serious, I will laff grin

My younger sister (mum's last born) will tell mum to her face, "You are a witch" shocked Mum said I will show you who is a witch. A couple of weeks later, my sister's partner threw her out of the house with her child. O pari!!

Since I started my fire prayers, she is confused about me. She called me up one day and asked who I rely on. I told her that I rely on my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ grin

This is serious,i somehow dont want to believe u,i mean it seems u re framing up a story.

chivaley: Thanks for all the replies so far. I started this thread because I have also had dreams that came true or bad ones I had to pray really hard to avert. But one further question house: What are dream symbols? I've heard a lot about them. If you guys will be kind enough to list some you are aware of, it would be nice. For instance I heard worms and maggots depict illness, rats depict poverty and oil depicts annointing. Any insights on dream symbols?

i once dreamt of being anoited with some other people.i also once dreamt of vomiting tiny maggots, but i didn't know what it meant till now.thank God i was vomiting it smiley

Mynd_44: To me, since a lot of women are emotional, and their BFs are always behaving like backsides, the dolls serve as a good replacement. Cos it does not cheat, hit at them and stuff.
The real question should be what's with guys and football especially the European leagues
