look guys I am not surprised. The problem is not just the judiciary as many claim, it is the CONSTITUTION. The judge must have given that penalty based on what is available in the laws of the land. We have said it several times that the law encourages corruption because the penalties attached are just a slap in the back; so petty. Our senators whose job it is to make and amend such laws will not touch it with a long pole, because they are rogues and Number 1 beneficiary of corruption. That is why we have massive daylight corruption in high places and nobody can stop it. If we had stiffer penalties, corruption would reduce a great deal. Hence our problem is OUR SNATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES. |
Listen to me, its good you have good feelings and looking expectantly towards that night. BUT CALM DOWN!!! Too much planning can ruin it. Relax, keep it simple and sweet. I recommend, pls read "The Act of Marriage: The Beauty of Sexual Love - Tim LaHaye, Beverly You and your hubby should read it, and all this your questions and so much more will be answered. I used it and I don't regret it. whether that night would be memorable or not, it starts from your HEAD (Thoughts). I mean you could plan everything right, then what happens when something goes wrong? something/somebody pisses you off? You see, it's more than venue. wish you the best. |

He is a citizen like any other Nigerian and therefore entitled to his freedom of speech. This chicken legislators don't even know what the constitution says, they just feel they can summon anybody anyhow...Nonsense! OUR MUMU DON DO!!! |
Prof Sagay is saying the plain and obvious truth, DOESNT MATTER WHOSE OX IS GORED. We Nigerians ought to criticize the legislature for not doing their Jobs and acting irresponsibly. LETS STOP SPEAKING AGAINST THE EXECUTIVE ONLY....FACE THE SENATE!!! |
MIB1:She did the right thing, you should be grateful. She has shown that she has overcome her past, thus you need to be grateful. "If any man be in Christ, He is a new creation. Old things are past and all have become new." She has been forgiven and restored. No curse of the law and of Satan can prevail; Jesus has broken every chain and delivered Her. Move on and be grateful to God for his mercy upon her life. God bless you. |
I personally have been expecting this from Him seeing the powerful opponents he has been tackling. It is sad that other media houses have decided to keep quiet and let him take the insults and harassment. But yet when he breaks the news they will follow suit to publish it. Our media houses are being sheepish. When Sowore comes up with accusations, they all ought to do their investigations and see it through instead of alienating him. Imagine a blogger abroad takes up a case and it goes viral online, CNN will take up the matter and carry out their own investigation. They will even go far beyond the person that started the news. That is what is expected of our media houses, not keeping quiet because they are afraid to challenge authority or afraid to be called "Fake news". CNN has been digging and keeping tabs with TRUMP, so he has called them fake news. What has that changed ![]() God help you Sowore! |
DINO SHUT UP YOUR MOUTH... You cant do nada...all talk talk talk |
It is so sad...Nigerians cant just see these legislators are the bane of our progress and democracy. They are chief of thieves, sponsors of bokoharam and financiers of militancy. They are selfish and shallow; only thinking about themselves and family. They are not only holding the executive to ransom but the entire country! Imagine saying "Lets hear from Muhammadu Buhari on Magu's case, Magu is terrorising us, because we disqualified him", Sen. Francis Alimikhena who also supported the motion cited. BUT WE KNOW REVERSE IS THE CASE! You disqualified Magu because your hands are DIRTY!!! You have disqualified Magu, what else do you want? How does magu's case affect confirming the REC's ![]() NB: The law allows Magu to keep serving in "acting" capacity..... They had better move On...CORRUPTION MUST BE KILLED! |
Hmm...interesting Checked it out on wiki....Buxton university is fake...very fake! |
jumpandpas:Do you in all your sensible mind believe they will keep those copies. If ever there was any of such copies, it must have been taken out totally!!! |
We thank God for this, but WE NIGERIANS ARE NOT FAIR TO OURSELVES. We hiked prices of goods that do not have anything (directly or indirectly) with dollars. Now that the Naira has appreciated against the dollars, why are the prices not going down?? Do we expect the govt to start begging or forcing us to bring the prices down?? We keep cheating and hurting ourselves and then cry that the govt doesn't care for the common man. SO SAD!!! Let's keep watching and praying, God help us all. |

I don't understand why you are all shouting "freedom of speech". you must be able to defend/prove what you say else you can be sued for defamation. So if the pastor decides to sue her, it is not wrong. However, this offence is "bailable"; she deserves a bail. Police are just responding to money. I trust the court to do the right thing. |
softwerk:Do you know what the real issue is? It is not about appearing before the senate. He has always showed up when invited. Their problem is that he is not wearing his uniform. His point is simple, He is a retired officer, though now serving in this role, he is not in anyway by any law compelled to wear the official uniform. So why the fuss about it. Let them discuss the issues at hand, not "uniform" nonsense. Lets stop supporting the senate is this waste of time. |

Poster, first I must say congratulations that you have a permanent Job right now in this recession and you have another opportunity as well. However to help you make your decision, you need to provide more details on "the exit policy of the permanent job" and the "job role/details". These two things will affect your choice. 1. Both Jobs pay rather well, but the contract job not only pays well but it also allows you to be nearer to your family. 2. However with the contract Job there is no guarantee of continuity as anything can happen. The big question is: Which of them gives you a Job role that is relevant to your passion/career? A role you would love to gain experience in and be proud to put on your CV. A role that gives you an advantage for greater opportunities. A role that would not make you dormant and left behind. This is the most important question you should answer to make your choice. |
