Family / How To Get Your Desired Spouse? Like Attracting Like by teemanbastos(m): 8:04pm On Jul 03, 2019
Like Attracts Like: A critical look into how we attract people and things into our life.

Communication is the soul of human interaction and forms the invisible core of any community. A community differs from another by virtue of the distinct communicative languages being spoken.
On a grand scale, the academic community primarily constitutes people personally committed to learning and research speaking academic terms, same goes for the political community, business community etc, the words adopted is what differentiates one from each other.

In this piece, I'll be bringing it down to the simplest units, everyone in his or her peculiarity has a thinking vibration or in simple terms a way of thinking, and this differentiates us same way as our physical, psychological, mental makeup stands us out distinctively, and man's instinctual urge for bonding, we are daily attracting people who think like us into our lives.

Who you talk to, you are close to, meaning we interact with people because we agree on an issue(s) , and who you don't talk to yet points to the fact that you have not yet found an area of mutual agreement to make you start talking.

Your thoughts and way of life attracts people of similar interests, for instance if my thoughts are focused on attending a music show let's say Jaymikee one of my favorites , and I end up attending the show because of my strong interest in His music , I will likely meet people who also have mutual interests in that show and what simply happened is that I attracted that situation(which is meeting like minds) into my life with my preceding thoughts.
Also if I also love attending Clubs, parties and enjoy the night life, it is likely that the majority of people I will have as contacts will be those with that mutual interests, summarily YOUR THOUGHTS BRINGS YOU TO PLACES OR SITUATIONS WHICH SHARE MUTUAL INTERESTS WITH YOURS,
Nobody just finds himself anywhere whether in a place or relationship if he never thought of going there at first, the thought first then the action after. Again I repeat, what you think you attract!

Harsh as it may sound, people who eventually get handicapped by physical diseases and failures already made it an habitual way of thinking before it materialized in the physical world, NOTHING JUST HAPPENS IN THIS WORLD, there's nothing mysterious about life, the understanding lacking is that we HAVE NOT BEEN SCHOOLED IN THE WORKINGS OF THE INNER WORLD which is a precursor to the outer world. As we lay our beds, we lie on it.

Show me your friends and I will show you who you are?
Basically, the people you speak with all the time shows the outsider that you harmonize with them and once you do harmonize with anybody, you begin to imbibe whatever they do consciously and unconsciously, before you know you are thinking along their line of thought on different matters and since thoughts are real, you are manifesting physically their way of life, you have not noticed because you have never observed it.
Have you ever experienced times when you were in certain situations where you humorously mimicked your friend and spoke like him(even in his absence) ?
Have you also being so close to someone that you felt the presence of that person even when not present? That moments was the moment both of you were thinking of yourselves even though you were far apart, the physical walls and fences are no barriers in the thinking world. Your friends harmonize with you as you do with them so your quality can be judged from theirs.

Why am I always attracting wrong people into my life?
You are because you are thinking wrongly about people all the time, you might say 'but I really want the right people' and to this I say, you don't meet the right people because they are interested in things that don't interest you, it is less likely I have friends who have big interest in volleyball because I don't myself, the day I begin to think of volleyball, I then begin to see people who play volleyball because my consciousness has been expanded, what you see you attract. Those who say that people of a particular gender are 'scum' had been brought up in environment that supported that assertion and that by personal interaction with one or two 'scum' people have hastily generalized All to be thereby attracting such people, only if they see differently will they begin to get different results.

Dear friend you attract wrong thinking, untrusted people into your life because you are one yourself, the same way you attract the foods, the clothes, the mobile devices you love into your life.
Look around you now, everything you see resonates with you-your shoes, clothes, phones, you do like them that's why they are there, the ones you don't like you quickly send them into the dustbin. So if you are meeting the people who are fraudulent, objectively and humbly check your thoughts because only by sincere acknowledgement of your faults can you rise above them.

Should I get married because of Money or Love?
First, since you attract things that resonate with you, if you are really the money-minded person, you will chase any opportunity with money attached be it a man or woman as sugar to ants and any consequences after should be borne bravely and if Love is your focal point of life, you will definitely love to attend places where love is shared be it a church filled with love or family friends therefore likely meeting someone whose attraction based on the love you crave is strongest to you and eventually get what you wanted , but again I emphasize that you attract what you think about. In short people don't get married because of money or love but instead only attracted that which they have thought most important to them in life in form of marriage relationship.

How do I get someone to love me?
Don't be bothered to get someone to love you, first ask yourself do you love yourself? If you still think low self-esteem, think guilt, think fear then you are not loving yourself as you should and if you set out to 'search' out a man to 'love you for who you are' then you'll likely get one who thinks like you who would further increase the tempo of low self-esteem, guilt and fear for since one chases a thousand, two will chase ten-thousand, this applies in all things. So build yourself up in love, by doing so you will attract the right people and more so someone which will make you better than you were.
Long lasting marriages, unions and friendships of any kind are built on foundations of same-mindedness.

Like Attracts Like is a universal law that works in all situations from physical success to material success to interpersonal success to mental and spiritual success, it also holds for all human endeavor and the key to attracting anything you want is simply having that very thing in you, to have an external kingdom of a super rewarding lifestyle, the internal kingdom must be in conformity.

Timothy A. writes from OAU, Ile-Ife which he attracted into his physical experience by virtue of its sustained legacy - learning and culture.

Religion / Believing Is Life, Unbelief Is Inadequacy by teemanbastos(m): 6:48am On Jun 30, 2019
Believing is Life, Unbelief is inadequacy.

As human beings, we have a huge trust in our experiences simply because we have experienced them and is therefore a part of us, sometimes we get to see two people arguing adamantly over an issue, both are right in their own regards based on their individual experiences and except an understanding is reached and both drop their egos to see things from an unselfish perspective, they may sooner turn things into a punching situation.

Every experiences we all have experienced is stored in our memory banks and drawn out when needed, show me a picture of a 'speedy' biscuit and straightway my memory gets into action and recalls that I ate the biscuit decades ago in my early schooling life, our physical experiences are really good as they give us good memories and something to smile about.

Now, given the huge benefits of memory, there is a ditch we tend to fall into all the time with memory and that is JUDGING THE FUTURE BASED ON PAST EXPERIENCES which results in Unbelief, a scourge that makes us fall short of our sparks of individual brilliance.
'No body knows the future' is a common aphoristic thought but none the less inaccurate, everyone of us does create our future every moment with our thoughts and emotions alike, what no one knows is the processes that will make up the created future.
Ask any billionaire today, he knew long time that what he had inside him as value to give to the world would ultimately serve plenty people and make him a billionaire fortune, what he never knew were the step by step processes that would be undergone to make it happen, what he knew was that he was going to be a billionaire, a Belief which was enough to make him one.

The deception in Memory knowledge is this, to undergo a new assignment or task, one looks at the tasks he has performed before and uses that to judge the future one, if the task performed before went well, he is enthusiastic to perform the new task but if the former task didn't go well, it's likely judging from that, he will put off the new task or if he does, does it shabbily thereby leaving behind bad reputational tendencies.

Using the 'no job' tag to judge a future makes the student lacklustre in studying and later becomes half-baked and primes himself for the no job situation, his thinking created his future for him, I hear someone say studying is lame and does not yield dividends in this age and I say that studying always works and the more you do study the more the opportunities and the higher the Self belief , the lesser you do study the more the fear of an uncertain future and the lower the self belief. Bill Gates said 'it concerns me to hear that young people say they don't want to go to college because I didn't graduate, For one thing I got a pretty good education even though I didn't stay so long to get a degree', he later got an Honorary Harvard degree as a testament to his education that has greatly benefited the world.

Never judge the future by imbibing negative thinking patterns, the future is definitely promising and juicy, I expect nothing less because I know that I have what I believe in, I hope you believe same too. Every human has a solid monopoly of his thoughts and actions, so if you're feeling inadequate or unfulfilled, check your thoughts and your life and seek to make things right, happiness and joy comes from within and not without, I used to think that money would make me very much happy and set myself to chase it until I discovered that the thought pattern of money making me happy was delusional and that liberated me from the self-made uneasiness stemming from anxieties and worries I had created from a societal opinion of attachment to money-afterall it was meant to be my servant not my master, and I realized that my happiness and joy lied within me and not without.

Someone wronged you yesterday and daily as you wake up to a new day, you again color the new good day with Unbelief and re-ignite the animosity, bitterness and you deprive yourself of inner peace, see a mind that thinks envy and jealousy cannot be creative and make an impact, the mind can be occupied with only one thought only at a time, so be wise and think good things.

Stop using yesterday to judge today, today is a day to start doing the right things in the right way, today is the day to start thinking lovely, true, pure, honest thoughts 24/7, today is the day to start trusting and start believing.
Today is the beginning of a new thinking and thoughts pattern that leads to a new life.
Indeed All things are possible to you if you believe.
Believe in your creator which is inside of you and Life becomes a Haven of bliss for you.

Happy Sunday

Education / Your Value Is Your Costing by teemanbastos(m): 7:57am On Jun 15, 2019
Your Value is Your Costing.

The Blue diamond is known for its brilliance, strength, radiance and glint, the Oppenheimer blue diamond is said to be the largest diamond ever auctioned at price of $57.5 million dollars. The Blue diamond renowned for its distinctive quality in its crude form appears less attractive than its final form which attracts an huge price set because of its rarity and immense value. The Blue diamond though unattractive in its crude state still has much value as in its final state but ends up more appreciated in its radiant form.

Prices, costs are always arbitrarily set to gauge the value of anything and every choices ever made or will be made is based on its value.
Value is the quality of ourselves, talents, gifts which we give out and in Merriam Webster terms 'usefulness or importance'.

Costs and prices are simply fixed based on perceived value, a diamond is perceived to have a very high value because of its inner qualities and its rarity. Also buildings, cars, aircrafts and other luxurious items have high costs because of the very high value that they give out.

My friend of recent was amazed at an Uber drive from Lagos to Akure city and back costing N50 000, I smiled when I read his thoughts, obviously the value the client in question got from the air-conditioned, safe, comfortable and luxurious ride was definitely worth the price, an aircraft flight or a bus ride would get the same result but would give different fulfilling experiences, my friend though amazed by the discovery ended up rejecting the mindset of the price being too high.

The price is 'too costly' might have been one of the limiting terms we might have heard over and over and has ended up being ingrained into our subconscious mind and we keep on living this mindset day in day out and resulting in us always settling for 'cheap' things that are not really valuable, the delirious thing to know is that we can always walk away from the limiting mindsets we have imbibed before and begin to have the mindset of abundance.

Schools, Universities and colleges that charge an healthy amount of fees usually end up giving the best to their students and employees - good environment, outstanding interpersonal relationships, excellent facilities are but a few good things enjoyed and the students and workers enjoy the rewarding experience and thus the set fees is justified(Of recent I have wondered about the embittered thinking directed towards people who send their wards abroad for good education and I really believe that education is the real key to providing more value so let's get really excellent education, affordability is relative and impermanent, get better where you currently stand and sooner you'll be standing where you wish to, there are a lot of poverty and limiting mindsets ought to be thrown away into the incinerator).similarly well designed houses, cars and well groomed people who have undergone different value addition lessons attract more value and therefore naturally cost more.

We all learn, study to give out back to the society, and it's only what we have that we ultimately give out, why do we go to school? It is to learn how to identify ourselves and gifting, improve on them with the aid of more experienced tutors and then personally sharpen ourselves the more to appear and be more lustrous in value.

The physical ecstasy derived from feeding our eyes with wonderful pictures of luxury we are exposed to every day makes us value the end product so much that we forget that the end product is an effect and not a cause, over prioritizing money which is just a means of exchange - a means to the end and not the end itself might have grown to be a subtle deception.
A limited thinking pattern is ready to do anything to get money, which is always successful on the short run but ends up being destructive on the long run, a trader or student or business person or any one in general who is so focused on shortcuts to providing half-baked value with an underlying sole intention of making money will usually forfeit the main points of value creation which is wrapped up in superb product(or service) quality, good customer(or people) relationship and lasting fulfillment which are vital to consolidating a thriving business brand, if and only if such mindsets gets really educated on value creation will there be sustainable wealth of fulfillment, material rewards and love all gotten from healthy value creation.

Anything we find ourselves doing should be done well, why? Because in doing it well, we further enhance our value, there are no little things as little things always aggregate together to form big things, therefore doing everything with zeal, passion and dedication is the key to sustainable value. Everything I say!

The diamond in itself doesn't know its value(acceptable because it's inanimate) yet it's highly valued among men.
Everyone of us is as valuable to the whole world to the point we realize and accept it so, living life is knowing that you are a blessing to others and not just living for oneself, providing value to our fellow humans will make us fulfilled internally, useful externally and blessed materially, focusing energies on the end product most times wear us out. Take care of giving out your Value and the rest will fall in line.
Identifying your talents, sharpening them daily, giving out yourself through speech and actions in the best possible ways daily sooner increases your worth and value and one's indispensability and the good news is that we are all very valuable and indispensable.
The diamond is highly valuable because of its distinguished and distinctive rarity and we share such quality, every human is rare(there are no two same persons anywhere on earth), utilizing our talents greatly will make us really valuable and we will sooner attract quality people and things into our lives and never have to worry about the prices of anything before we make a purchase of whatsoever we desire.

If we don't enjoy the good things on earth, who will?
You are highly valuable than you think!

Politics / Now That Nextlevel Has Been Inaugurated? by teemanbastos(m): 7:53pm On May 30, 2019
Now that NextLevel has been inaugurated?

I was one of the firm believers in the 2015 change mantra of the APC, and even though I was naive back then, I believed (or I was led to believe) that the Jonathan-led government was indifferent to corruption fight and currently I am amazed I had myopically judged his government only with the examination of corruption fight which he failed by media standards.

Four years after, I have realized that my point of view was myopically narrowed to the corruption fight zone only which enjoyed defamatory accusations aimed towards His government by the media, and I admit that the Jonathan-led government made a lot of notable differences in sectors like agriculture, entertainment, sports and human development, Although I believed then that most Nigerians wanted to experience what a feel of a change of party system would look like and therefore went with the pyrrhic alternative and I inclusive seeking the same feeling joined the uncertain train.

Over the years,We Nigerians have placed so much value on money and finance because it directly affects everyone of us so every government's general performance is filtered through the lens of 'financial impropriety and corruptions', we shouldn't be blamed for this because over the years we see less of social, economic and infrastructural developments and yet we're daily exposed to the perceived gratifying life of a certain few who we believe continually seek to milk the country dry thereby depriving the majority of Nigerians of the savouring life we desire.
The APC with master strategies saw into the gaps capitalized on it, cajoled the electorate with the dreams that occupied the minds of the average Nigerian, succeeded and won the 2015 elections.

Has Buhari fought corruption which was his main theme in his first term successfully?
Maybe to those who have voted him in for second term, he is performing quite above average and for those who didn't he has failed to make significant changes on his much publicized 'corruption mantra' and corruption still thrives among 'his friends' unlike in the previous administration where it thrived across various divides.

The certain fact is that corruption-fight hypes aided by the media wasn't prominent and dramatic as it was in the Jonathan administration which further intensifies the impression that the facade behind the continuous and persistent attacks against the Jonathan administration which continually insisted meant well for all Nigerians was sponsored by the APC. I leave the rest to Nigerians to objectively compare the achievements of both two years into Buhari's government to make comparisons fair if that will indeed either affirm the belief that change was inevitable or simply unnecessary.

The PDP was in charge of government for 16 years and although beset with multifarious challenges should be commended for its people-integrating ideologies, although at times perceived to be promoting uneven and inappropriate disburse of funds still promoted the unity of Nigerians, no wonder the emphasis on the 'power to the people' in its popular slogan.

The PDP has it may seem has sound ideological foundations but its uneven spending leaving the majority unsatisfied by ignoring cogent areas like roads, electricity, housing and urban development leaving them in deplorable conditions at the expense of a few who had free access to this good facilities might have made them lose a lot of fanfare, for a party to last for over a decade and a half indeed shows its grassroots acceptance and strength.

The APC master strategists led by the former Lagos state governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who has longtime been in the country's political climate and most times as an opposition studied the political climate and came up with sound conclusions and made the right mergers and was influential in selecting round pegs in round holes which eventually produced fascinating results that led to the PDP being swept off with the broom of change.

The Buhari 'Change' Administration kicked off to a slow start in 2015 which the administration justified as saying it was 'following due processes' which it claimed was non-existent in the past PDP administrations and therefore time was required to revive the flame of ethics that had long fizzled out.

The Buhari administration placed huge priorities on security, infrastructure and economy, In security it says it technically defeated the Boko Haram sect and took drastic measures to end the herdsmen crisis, In economy it says it rescued the country from recession and set it back on the right road to economic growth, in infrastructure it says it invested in infrastructural development more than any democratic dispensation and claims would benefit the country greatly, these are the main developments it implemented in the first four years and when continually questioned by Nigerians on when the effects of all this will be physically seen by Nigerians, the government claims the results would be seen from 2019 upwards and from the basic belief that a corn plant does not germinate the day it was planted, Nigerians have inclined themselves to believe so.

The APC has entered its sophomore year of democratic rule and has promised a move to the next level for all nigerians, Nigerians both joyous, indifferent and aggrieved are looking up expectantly to what the APC-led government defines as next level, results are celebrated everywhere and maybe when a litre of fuel falls from N145 to N60, a bag of rice falls to cheap rate, electricity distribution becomes wide-spread and constant, the Naira becomes strong enough to meet daily needs, then we will begin to believe the Buhari government means well, but till then we hope the Next Level takes us far beyond our expectations even as we anticipate the outcome concerning the case of 2019 general election inconsistency claims brought by the Atiku Abubakar-led PDP against the victory of the Muhammadu Buhari APC-led government, again we hope the Judiciary will be fair in its handling of the case and give unbiased judgments, we hope that Muhammadu Buhari who won the Northern Nigeria geopolitical zones by a landslide because of the seemingly unchanging belief the zone has in his Integrity status will be magnanimous to not interfere in Judicial outcomes and implore his aides to do same.

Next Level?

The Muhammadu Buhari government should see to the fact that cohesiveness is restored to the Nigerian socio-economic and political climate concerning national issues and in volatile matters and regions, the government which continually claims that it has succeeded in 'rescuing' Nigeria from the monster of corruption should begin to chart a blueprint to maximizing its manpower, maximally exploiting its various resources and resuscitating lost values to restoring the country to the presumed Giant of Africa status this time not in words but in feats.

The youth population which takes quite an healthy percentage of its growing population should be well equipped with deliberate investments in the education sector, youth sector, science and technology sector, sports sector and entertainment sector,
the country should also focus and diversify into the technology sector which is growing at a rapid rate in Nigeria and place huge priority on what it can do to drive all Nigerians to contribute decisively to the growth of his immediate community and to the country at large.

The situation where every Nigerian has lost faith in the democratic government should be worked upon with oblingingness and alacrity by the Ministry of Information and Communications as the greatness in every nation is borne out of the fact that every citizen who is a Nigeria in microcosm contribute his or her best to the development of the nation not compulsively or painfully but willingly and cheerfully.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Business / Re: Meram Indimi Reveals Struggle With Depression by teemanbastos(m): 1:18pm On Apr 13, 2019
CosmoDroid:

What you do not know is that depression comes from emptiness, inactivity, and boredom as well as idleness. The fact that you mentioned money on this issue speaks loudly of your misunderstanding of the subject because the very wealthy are more susceptible to depression too. The poor can only be depressed because of hopelessness, but the elites are depressed due to inactivity and emptiness and idleness.

When you have all that is basic in life and find it as 'common' without knowing that others are battling and suffering just to afford a little, then you think you have nothing. Once in our lives, we feel we are not where we are supposed to be.

The answer to depression is activity, just find something you love doing and be busy at it, always.

Many wealthy people are very idle, lonely and depressed.

But the crowd to fill a stadium is actually a small fraction of the number of voters in any state, except for few states like ekiti and bayelsa. Hypothetically, for instance, in a state with 1,000,000 voters, only about 80,000 are required to fill a stadium to the brim. 920,000 voters are still out there going about their duties and waiting for voting day. That's why stadium crowds do not determine voting patterns in reality.

I wonder if it isn't the same set of people that attend rallies of the two parties, and if not, then filling up a stadium actually is achieved by mobilizing people across the state which is easy to achieve with good logistics but then

Crowds never matters! What matters is voting on the D-day

I respect and adore Seyi law but something about joking on important things is that the desired outcomes always turn out ugly.

reminds me of a story i read in mastering English some years ago about a cattle rearer who would make jokes about thieves attacking his herds,he would come running into the village shouting and crying, then people would run from the village to the fields to help and then they would see that it was all lies, the herdsman would laugh and said it was all a joke, he did this two, three times, afterwards people didn't take him seriously again, after all he was taking them for fools,
a day came when there was an attack on his herd, he ran into the village requesting for help but unfortunately for him, the villagers didn't take him serious, he paid the price for 'expensive' jokes, he lost his herds of cattle.

Expensive jokes could be costly! Wisdom is profitable to direct

Pounded yam is one of the most loved fufu meals in Nigeria, it can be paired with any kind of soup especially vegetable and egusi soup.

I made this soft and pliable pounded yam with fresh yam today. In this method, you don’t need to cook or pound the yam. I found out it is very easy to make this and even if you don’t have a mortar at home, you can still enjoy your pounded yam swallow. You should also watch the video above on how to prepare this yam poundo practically.

You Need:

Pure White yam for this yam swallow.

Steps on How to Make Pounded Yam with Raw Yam

1. Cut yam into rings and peel off the brown skin, cut the yam into smaller sizes and rinse with water to get rid of sand.
2. Bring the yam into a blender and add a little water to help the blender spin appropriately.
3. Pulse the blender for few minutes or until the yam is completely blended and appears smooth and almost runny.
4. Bring the blended yam into a stainless steel pot and place it on medium heat to get heated.
5. Use a wooden spatula to stir the yam paste for 1 minute, you will begin to notice the yam starting to come together.
6. Keep stirring until the yam starts to cook, when this has come together, reduce the heat and scrape the sides and bring the paste to the
middle. Sprinkle a little water and steam cook this on low flame for 5 minutes and stir intermittently.
7. Once the yam has cooked, it will look soft and pliable; take it off it and scoop into nylon bags to stay warm until you are ready to serve.
8. Pounded yam is ready, you can serve with egusi soup or any soup of your choice.

Romance / Re: Before You Fire The Shots. by teemanbastos(m): 6:48am On Jan 17, 2019
Toks2008:
A teacher teaching Maths to seven-year-old Laiq asked him,

“If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

Within a few seconds Laiq replied confidently, “Four!”

The dismayed teacher was expecting an effortless correct answer, three. She was disappointed. “Maybe the child did not listen properly.” – she thought.

She repeated, “Laiq, listen carefully. If I give you one apple and one apple and one apple, how many apples will you have?”

Laiq had seen the disappointment on his teacher’s face. He calculated again on his fingers. But within him he was also searching for the answer that will make the teacher happy. His search for the answer was not for the correct one, but the one that will make his teacher happy.
This time hesitatingly he replied, “Four.”

The disappointment stayed on the teacher’s face. She remembered that Laiq liked strawberries.
She thought maybe he doesn’t like apples and that is making him loose focus.

This time with an exaggerated excitement and twinkling in her eyes she asked, “If I give you one strawberry and one strawberry and one strawberry, then how many you will have?”

Seeing the teacher happy, young Laiq calculated on his fingers again. There was no pressure on him, but a little on the teacher. She wanted her new approach to succeed.
With a hesitating smile young Laiq replied, “Three?”

The teacher now had a victorious smile. Her approach had succeeded. She wanted to congratulate herself.

But one last thing remained. Once again she asked him, “Now if I give you one apple and one apple and one more apple how many will you have?”
Promptly Laiq answered, “Four!”

The teacher was aghast. “How Laiq, how?” she demanded in a little stern and irritated voice.
In a voice that was low and hesitating young Laiq replied, “Because I already have one apple in my bag.[/color]

This story brings to mind the mistake many of us make in judging people and also makes us understand that we must avoid prejudice at all cost and wait until we hear people out before making wrong conclusions or forming an opinion about them.

-You call someone and the person did not pick up after several attempts and you quickly blocked or deleted that number.

-You sent a message to your Bae and h/she did not respond even when the status shows "read" or "online" and you conclude you are ignored.

-You asked a rich friend or family member for money and h/she does not give you and you say he is a wicked or stingy man.

-Your Bae was seen in a hotel with someone else holding hands and smiling....oh they must have had a good time together...

-You read a news and you quickly make irrational comments just to see a contrary report latter.

-You hear one side of a story and you quickly pass judgment without hearing the other party.

-You just hold grudges against someone who has no dotty clue that h/she offends you and you just keep hating and harboring bitterness whilst the person in question is busy living a happy life.

I can go on and on to highlight endless instances where you seem to be convinced about your judgment based on an erroneous observation or misconstrued information yet you could be so so wrong.

When someone gives you an answer that is different from what you expect, don’t think they are wrong. There could be an angle that you may not have thought about yet and no matter how seemingly sure a situation may present itself, be sure to know the facts from the people or person involved before passing judgment.

No matter how it seems...before you fire that shots, always find out the facts else you may make terrible judgments that may jettison potentially wonderful union and possibly ignite avoidable resentment.

I hope this makes sense.
superb one! God bless
Business / Secret To Wealth And Great Riches by teemanbastos(m): 8:12pm On Jan 16, 2019
Be the best at what you do and the whole world will come looking for you.

Societal opinions influenced my inexperienced self years back to choose 'lucrative' courses where I would have more potentials to earn more and live large upon graduation, so I went for a 'lucrative' course, well after 80% into my undergraduate schooling programme, I've come to understand and discover that it's not just reading and studying a 'lucrative' course for five years and graduating with a degree that automatically guarantees a big paying or high earning job, but it is the content of what has been gathered during those years which will produce results that improve people and their lives that guarantees high earnings. Afterall it's we humans that produce services and still pay for them from the concept that we get paid for what we know and we pay for what we don't know.

How did 'lucrative' courses come to be?
Because we focus on effects and rarely observe the causes that precede these effects, we see good houses inhabited by oil and gas workers, sleek cars driven by doctors and lawyers and hastily assume that it's either studying a course that positions you for a job in high paying corporations gives you the key to the good life, If so have you asked why people get sacked? Or fired? Even after they have gotten these good paying jobs?
Because their value is dispensable and they failed to develop their existing knowledge and improve on their skill sets so another more valuable individual comes in place of the sacked people, who can get better paying jobs if they devote themselves to great self improvements.

but here lies the cause , no course was lucrative until these now rich and successful people sat down as students, studied, devoted themselves to learning, improvised, and brought their creative power to produce maximum results that has resulted in high earnings for them obeying the law of giving and receiving, they dedicated themselves to learning and creativity and GIVING THEIR BEST TO HUMANITY AND HUMANITY IN RETURN REWARDED THEM WITH THE BEST. The high earning medical professionals, engineering professionals, law professionals, oil and gas professionals know that education neither started on Matriculation day nor ended on convocation day but a lifetime process because of the peculiar knowledge that the more you learn, the higher your earning power.

All courses, all professions, all tasks are highly lucrative, be it barbing or sweeping or laundry or white collar jobs, what matters is how committed we ourselves are to learning and creativity and improving ourselves in these jobs and vocations, IT IS NOT THE COURSES BUT THE COMMITMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL TO GIVING OUT THE BEST IN WHATEVER HE or SHE STUDIED THAT HAS BROUGHT THE BEST BACK TO THEM by the law of sowing and reaping.
It is not the certificates but the rigorous learning process of attaining the certificates that counts, it is what you have in the head and what you have learnt yourself that counts not the piece of paper. Cement your financial hold by expanding your horizon of knowledge daily.

Money comes to those who have impacted positively in the life of people, i pay the barber because he has invested into my hair, now the whole world can come looking for that barber if he daily improves himself and his customers indeed confirm his superb hairstyles and markets for him and boom! His business is lucrative!

You want the good life? Be highly valued and valuable to others,
You want more income? Increase your spread, you've been valuable to just 10 people, double it and keep being of benefits to more people by giving the best to them.
How do I get value into myself? Invest into yourself, invest your time wisely and keep improving and expanding on the inside, invest!

Success is not a destination but a lifetime endeavor, commit yourself to being the best at either what you do or what you love or what you have passion for with the greater goal of giving out your best to the whole world and watch how your returns come to you in plenty and uncountably. Be it the Church giants as Kumuyi, Adeboye, Oyedepo to the Business giants as Buffet, Dangote, Adenuga to the Tech giants as Musk, Zuckerberg to the Singing greats as Wizkid, Davido, to the Fashion giants as D &G, to the educational giants etc the principles of being the best at what they do and devotion to self development daily has made them wealthy, famous and they live in maximum abundance on earth.

Make yourself Of Utmost value and people will come looking for you, keep improving yourself and people will make an habitation of you.
Of course Now I know better that if I decided to study a course not considered lucrative and devoted myself to learning, I would still be wealthy and if I chose a lucrative course and was not devoted to giving my best, I would receive mediocre returns.

Nairaland / General / Why Celebrating Christmas Is Good. by teemanbastos(m): 10:27am On Jan 03, 2019
On differences in celebrating festivities.

Different Dogmas and beliefs on celebration of dates and festivities has caused frictions and conflicts that breed disunity and disunity never gives optimal gains.
We should note that we are not celebrating Christmas or Easter or New year, we are celebrating friendships, we are celebrating brotherhood and sisterhood, we are celebrating the joys of being together again, we are celebrating ourselves and we are enhancing the spirit of unity which is God's.

When we now begin to argue with ourselves, denomination against denomination, religion against religion, brother against brother we lose sight of the initial reasons of these festivities, we breed anger, we introduce criticisms and breed hate instead of the love which the season is all about. Let's respect the opinions of all, different celebrations mean different things to different people based on nurture and upbringing,
Human race was created to foster love and unity, and since we've divided ourselves along the lines of religions, doctrines and dogmas, we've lost sight of the primary reasons for living and focused on agreeing and disagreeing over what to celebrate and what not to, what to eat and what not to etc

Let's Celebrate Ourselves and focus on the main goals of life - living in unity fostered by love that transcends personal preferences. No human being can do without another, the leg is as instrumental as the fingernails in the human body, we are all created as big blessings to humanity.

We should put selfless service first before personal ambition, only one person can be at a position at a time.
