the la liga is delightful to watch if you are a football purist. So much skill in this league. Every team has at least one exciting playmaker that you always look foward to seeing; even the smallest of teams.

hey my learned friends, don't limit your scope. There are hardly any job vacancies for "lawyers". However, as a lawyer you are trained to work in most if not all establishments. There is always a place for lawyers.

Pero la fiesta del madridismo pasaba por lograr la victoria ante el Mallorca. El equipo que dirige Gregorio Manzano, aunque con los deberes hechos, llegaba dispuesto a demostrar su profesionalidad y ponérselo difícil a los blancos. No en vano, es el equipo que más puntos ha sumado en el Bernabéu desde el año 2000. Arango avisaba con un disparo al palo en el primer minuto, y Varela confirmaba los malos augurios cuando en el minuto 17 adelantaba al equipo balear. Triangulación entre Víctor, Varela y Arango y éste que finalizaba con un disparo bajo al palo derecho de Iker Casillas. Tocaba remontar, la emoción volvía a marcar un encuentro del Real Madrid y de nuevo, al aficionado madridista le tocaba volver sufrir el síndrome de las victorias épicas.
Y el primer paso para culminar una prodigiosa segunda vuelta (una derrota en 17 partidos), era suscribir el empate. Pero antes, el pichichi -con 25 goles- y mayor realizador de la historia de la Liga a domicilio -17 tantos-, y sin duda, uno de los mejores jugadores de este campeonato, Ruud Van Nistelrooy tenía que abandonar roto y abatido el terreno de juego (min.31) aquejado de un fuerte tirón muscular. Pero la mayor motivación esta noche tenía forma de Copa. La primera mitad se saldó con un empujar sin solvencia de los madridistas. Míchel Salgado, gran novedad en el once, se erigía como uno de los más enchufados. Lo intentaba Raúl, Roberto Carlos, Robinho, Higuaín…, pero todo quedaba pendiente para la segunda mitad.

Se culminaba el sueño
Guti volvía a ser la savia nueva, sustituyendo a Emerson en el tiempo de descanso. Había que salir a buscar el gol –dos mínimo porque la victoria del Barcelona obligaba a los madridistas a ganar al Mallorca-; las contras y las jugadas a balón parado se perfilaban como las grandes bazas del equipo de Capello. Pero lo único importante era marcar. El Mallorca se echó atrás y el Real Madrid se fue adelante. José Antonio Reyes sustituía a David Beckham -ovacionado en la que ha sido su casa en los últimos cuatro años- y de sus botas nació el gol del empate (min.69). Mismo tratamiento para un grande que también decía adiós por la puerta grande: Roberto Carlos.

Gonzalo Higuaín ingenia y suscribe una gran jugada que culmina dejando atrás el esférico para que el de Utrera rematara el esférico al fondo de la malla con su pierna derecha. ¡A por ellos! gritaba el Bernabéu… Y a por ellos y a por la Liga se fue todo el equipo. Y de que manera… ¡a lo campeón! La primera tentativa la protagonizó Robinho con un gran chut que rechazó Moyá, pero era cuestión de minutos que se consumara el sueño. Un minuto más tarde el gol lo anotaría uno de los recién llegados -pero con ugran fuerza- a esta plantilla: Diarra, que con fe cabeceó un lanzamiento de esquina (min.80). Máxima euforia en el Santiago Bernabéu que estalló, explotó y reventó con el tanto que confirmaba la victoria del equipo. De nuevo, Reyes, fundamental en este triunfo en el día más feliz de su vida, marcaba con un gran lanzamiento desde fuera del área (min.83).

Un cuento con final feliz, no exento de sufrimiento y emoción, que contaremos a nuestros hijos… érase una vez una temporada 06/07, en la que el Real Madrid fue de nuevo el mejor… se reconquistaba así el liderato del fútbol español, se culminaba un homenaje a la historia del mejor Club del siglo XX. Y acabamos como empezamos esta crónica del Campeón, con una frase para la reflexión: “No dejes apagar el entusiasmo, virtud tan valiosa como necesaria; trabaja, aspira y tiende siempre a la cima, donde sólo puede llegar el CAMPEÓN”.

Roberto Carlos will forever be remembered by fans of Madrid. He already has more appearances for the club than any foreigner in history. More goals in the Champions League(16) than some strikers. Wonderful career. Time to move on.

The following are in my opinion the biggest derbies in the good old game of football. My conclusion is based on the fact that these are not just new-age , media-generated derbies. They are age-long and will always be there nas they go beyond football. tHESE DERBIES ARE WHAT THE CITIZENS OF THESE CITIES LOOK UP TO FOR PRIDE EVERY GIVEN YEAR EVEN WHEN THEY DON'T WIN THE MAJOR TITLES.

CELTIC-RANGERS (now this has strong religious undertones)

BOCA JUNIORS-RIVER PLATE (surpasses any soap opera from the latin continent)

AL AHLY-ZAMALEK (dis one na holy war o!!)

INTER MILAN-AC MILAN (to make it worse they play both legs on the same pitch)

MAN UTD-LIVERPOOL (this one has softened a little bit with the emergence of
chelsea and arsenal)

No doubt we should support our league. Only the league board should make it so attractive that we won't be able to ignore it.

It's how the spanish la iga has panned out. At the beginning of the season, no one gave us a chance of winning anything especially with the early results. The second half of the season has however been more dramatic than ten mexican soap operas put together. It all started when barca started to panic and make siily mistakes.
MInd you, the catalans made same mistakes last season but Real Madrid did not fire on all cylinders as we are doing now. The team spirit is unparalleled. All the dramatic comebacks(my oh my).
Now we stand just 90 minutes awy from our 30th la liga title and credit must go to Ruudfor being a total assasin in front of goal;he has 33 in all competetions as at last night's draw with zaragoza. Move over drogba. The landlord is back.

How can I fail to mention Beckham; an 'outcast" turned deliverer, running around so fit like he's on some royal ginseng medication. The game against mallorca will be a fitting goodbye indeed.
generally, i praise the leadership of the team in the form of Raul; very hard to lead such a team. All the player deserve praises indeed.

I know this may come as a surprise for those who have labelled me a premiership basher on this forum. This season of the EPL is what i have always wanted to see not some "14 point gap with 9 games to go" seasons that we have experienced in the past.
Credit must go to Roman Abrahamovic for revolutionizing english football(i'm no chelsea fan), but the truth must be told; he really upped the ante for others to follow. I can't remember when last the league was won on the last day in england,something we r likely to see this year. hola and air ur views on this one.

football manager is simply the best game around for hardcore football fans. I was initiated about 5 years ago when it was still championship manager by a friend. Since then I have introduced about 20 people to it. Its the most addictive thing i have ever been involved in. Only us know what we are talking about. Its like a cult u know. FM rules!!!!!!

hala madrid. It was apity we had 2 lose to deportivo. its a good thing neither sevilla or barca won their games but all the ame we have no excuse to lose such games if we really waant to win the league.

I wonder whether the organisers did not give her the scripts in advance. It was terrible to see. I watched it with my mom and she was asking me if that was a camerounian. I know say grammar no be our language but we should be at least presentable in public. A little rehearsal would have helped.
