Lolly30: @teezkid No need of the old passport. Just send only the new one. Since is the new one that will get the stamp. And again if u check d front page ur old passport number is included. The main reason U did new one is to extend the validity year. I sent the new one when I was requested to send passport and my passport is back with stamp. Alright, thank you |

Armah22: birth certificate. If it’s your maternal uncle submit your mum and his own birth certificate to show that your mum was bearing the same surname till she married. Also pictures Do you think a marriage certificate can work to replace the use of birth certificate? Or you have to use the both, or use any? |

What about people who are doing their NYSC currently, do we/they have to use a reference letter from their PPA? Ketima: Hello Survivex,
Kindly fill the latest employment history. Your current job is what that constitute your job ties to your country and not past jobs. But if you can get recomemdation letter from present and past employers to attach to your application, that will be good. Also attache all your employment related documents(offer letter, confirmation of appointment, promotion letter etc) to you application.
For the 2nd question. Which checklist again are you referring to? Once you complete your online questionnaire correctly, all the sections you need will be made available. So you don't need any checklist again. Checklist was when paper based was still on.
All the best. |

Please do you have any application waiver code at all for Conestoga college ? Samxx: I've noticed that most people don't respond anymore on here once they are past that stage or if the questions has nothing to do with them or their current stage , But you guys should remember you were once at that stage too . That being said anyone who needs an application waiver code for Seneca College should let me know , it expires April 25th so get back to me on time before it expires. |

Alright. Thank you for the explanation makano: Hello Teezkid
Statement of purpose is a very important and compulsory document for a Canada study, visiting and spousal permit application.. In case you don't know, Canada doesn't conduct interview for Visa applicants unlike most developed countries, so the the tool you will use to sell yourself to the IRCC Visa officers is your SOP, since you won't be there physically to present yourself to the Visa Officer.
Yes, I have also seen very few instances where applicants get PPR without submitting a Statement of purpose, but remember, no 2 application is the same..
There are many times the Visa Officer will refuse an application for a vague study plan and also purpose of visit, SOP is the major tool to knock off these refusal reasons..
Again, SOP is a very important document to include in your study permit application, and if you wanna apply without it cos very few have gotten PPR without it, then goodluck..
Peace |

Good day house. I would like to know if it is compulsory to write a statement of purpose for the student visa application? because some people did not write it and submit it to the visa officials and still got their PPR, I am very much confused and I know someone who went for a graduate certificate course and did not write a statement of purpose and still got their PPR |

Any Guru in the house to answer this question? Teezkid: Hello. Just to be sure. I want to study project management as the graduate certificate course and I did my bachelors in computer science and had a 2:1. Do you people think it would be a good idea, and are there chances of me really getting a student visa? I would really love to know |

Thank you very much technix: Hi,
Good chance I would say (assuming it's a postgraduate diploma). You just need to explain why you are doing the course and fulfill other study permit requirements. |
