They are not reviewing your eligibility?
tobiiarimoro:

Noting changed. Just the same last update from January
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teezkid: 7:43pm On Jul 19, 2022
To be honest, I will advice you actually wait for about two months or till when the standard processing time for your application is done (12 weeks). Don’t worry, they will answer your application within the time frame
Thomsyne:

I need your input please.

Is it okay to start firing emails the moment medicals are done? I did my medicals on the 4th of July, applied 8th, and biometrics on the 13th. Should I wait it out for a month or start firing emails ASAP? My resumption is still January but you never know with these guys.

They said it takes 12 weeks maximum. According to the meeting held last month or so by Abuja IRCC

The answer to your no 2 is yes. What you can upload for the relationship with you and your uncle is possibly his marriage certificate or his birth certificate ( any one ), that is to show a linkage between the both of you if he is related to you as one of your parents in- law or sibling, you can also attach the Birth certificate or marriage certificate of your parent ( that is to link on whom your uncle is related to). If you have any old sponsorship he has done for you in the past; like pay something for you, you can include that in your application. if you have any old picture or any old message you people have had, you can also include that. The most thing is to know about a genuine relationship. Then he can offer to write a letter of sponsorship or an affidavit of support for your application ( you can use anyone )
Mkaye:
Good evening everyone on this platform. I'm new on this platform and I'm happy to be among you guys.

Pls I'm applying for Canada visa and I kindly ask for guide for beginners.

I've gone through all the posts here and the more I read through the more confused I get and more questions spring up

1)I really want to know which school to apply for that gives scholarship and one that I won't have to pay school fees from Nigeria

2)I really want to know the visa application process, documents needed, can my uncle be my sponsor(if yes, do I need to upload any proof showing that he's my uncle)

3) After my masters program do I stand a chance of getting PR or is it only for undergraduates

Thanks in anticipation of your kind replies

What were the type of documents you submitted between you and your sponsor?

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teezkid: 7:59am On Jul 05, 2022
Okay. when next you want to apply, you can use his marriage certificate or birth certificate, anyhow you can prove your relationship with him, so the Visa officers will have a more broad understanding that he is related to you, if you have any past sponsorship for what he has done for you, include them. Writing a letter is not enough to prove your relationship wink
kingspecialist:
No, wrote a letter; Proof of sponsorship and his personal bank statement

Was it only a family picture you sent to them for the relationship between you people ?
kingspecialist:
Thanks for your reply if 1 is the reason then I will have to reply because

1) I sent it just once. My bad.
2) I included family pictures where we both appeared
5) my reason for asking was consistency if I use the old portal to re-apply or use the new portal.

So sorry, you did all you could. Order your GCMS notes, so next time, you will definitely get it in the bag
tolupe1:
Good evening everyone.
So I applied on the 26th of January and I was served breakfast on the 6th of June due to personal assets and financial status.

I have returned after taking a breather.
Here are my concerns and how I need advice to tackle them.

1, My sponsor(hubby) had a huge amount saved consistently over a period of over a year just for the purpose of my Canadian study dreams. The money was in a Mutual Benefit account.

2, We had about 4M in both of our savings account when we submitted the application in January

3, We had already paid for my first semester tuition of 8k CAD

I feel that the reason that I might have been denied was because the VO might have felt that the money in the Mutual Benefit account wouldn’t be easily accessible and that the 4M in our accounts would not be sufficient for my time in Canada. (My program is for 2 years).

Before my refusal came, I had ordered for my GCMS notes and they came is spanking clean.

Eligibility - check
Info sharing- check
Criminality- check

Everything can in clean and I thought I had my visa in the bag but lo and behold, I was served.

So I was advised to move the money into a regular savings account and I have done that.

MY QUESTION NOW IS: how do I prove that the money isn’t bulk money? That hubby moved it from one bank to another. How do I convince the VO without a doubt that the money is ours and not for demonstration purposes.

I really need help. I intend to reapply this week. Help your sister out. Thank you.

NB: kindly itemize says I can achieve this or explain myself to the VO .

Long post and please don’t mind my typing errors.

Ok so guys. I don jam person wey don chop my money oo.
So I met this agent on this platform, I won’t mention his name just yet. He has always been answering my questions and all until we started charting privately. He’s Always answering my questions still and made mention to me that he can help me process my visa application. I doubted it so very much that my spirit didnt go with him but he persuaded me that he is good and professional etc and because of the questions he answered and showed he has ideas I agreed and he charged me 350k and after so much persuading he agreed to 200k then said I should pay for commitment and it would be Half of the money before he can continue answering my questions then I paid 100k after which he shared informations about the process and all then fast forward to few days later he started getting busy and doesn’t want to answer some of my questions. Sometimes he leaves my messages on read. Then I started complaining and told him I dont think I want to continue with him because of the reasons mentioned. It even got to a time I was not free to ask him anything because of how he might respond. Then he said he’s sorry that he’d change and always be available to answer my questions and tell me what I need to do and mot know in the process. Mind you I haven’t gotten my documents ready to start the process sef still waiting on some of my documents before we start. We moved from there but still my spirit wasn’t working with this guy but I kept pushing. Until today that I told him i dont think I Would be able to balance him up the remaining 100k because of some finance issues im starting to have, that I’ll like to do this whole thing myself since this informations are even online. I have not even asked for the 100k I paid.
Naso baba start to threaten me that I’ll see what he would do to me in few weeks bla bla bla that he has my informations already and he’ll get to me sending me threat voice notes that I stole his intellectual property that is more thank 200k that I must balance him up even if I am not interested again ooo egbami ooo lol . Now my question is must I continue with somebody i dont want to continue with because he has advised me and given informations on how I’ll go about thr whole thing after my first 100k, we didn’t even sign any agreement that I must complete the job with him funny enough we’ve not started yet.
Please house what do you advice I do

Good morning gurus in the house, I must commend you guys for the great work you guys are doing. Something have been giving me sleepless night,I want to summit my study visa application. But my concern here is that ,i have had earlier been denied U.k visiting visa around February this year,based on financial purposes and some documents i submitted are contradicting from the one I am about to summit with candian student permit. Please my question here as follows;
One .should I mention to the VO about my U.k refusal or should I just not talk about it? Two. Can the VO / Canadian embassy get a hold of all the documents I submitted to the U.k embassy or should it be only the result of the refusal they will see?

Hold up. What were the type of documents you submitted? And was your program a 1 year or 2 year program ?
blackmaryjane6:

Getting the GCMS note sometimes take a very long time.
Also, my uncle is my sponsor and at the point the POF in his account was about 12million. From what you said I think I would need to increase the amount and also his account gets a steady in flow in millions.

Please also advice if I can include my previous SOP and explanation of the correction they requested I made as my LOE.

I’ve heard na, lol!
Onweke:

Far too many times, prospective applicants applicants ask me questions relating to this topic.

In this post, I will carefully address the real issues and meaning behind "Recommend Interview". I hope every participant on this platform makes the most of the information below.

Kindly be advised that every immigration applications submitted to IRCC are reviewed by at least two levels of people:

1. *Program Case Analyst:*

Most of the time, it's the Program Case Analyst who does the initial R-10 check that often positions certain applications on "Recommend Interview". They review all information present on file and can only make recommendations as per the applicant's circumstance - i.e, recommended interview (RI), review required (RR), recommended refusal/eligibility failed (EF). The Program Case Analyst may also be able to refuse some ill-equipped applications due to poor documentation.

*Reason for Recommend Interview;*

The eligibility status - "Recommend Interview" is mostly common when the Program Case Analyst has certain concerns about the submission of the applicant for an immigration application to Canada.

This is largely due to some irregularities on the applicant's employment reference letter and inability to verify applicant's work experience, ineligible financial documents to cover for the applicant's proposed program and upkeep in Canada, and in some cases due to salaries being paid by cash at applicant's place of work.

2. *Senior Immigration Officer*

The Senior immigration officer (visa officer) will then review the notes and assessments of the program case analyst and make the final decision, this also includes whether or not an interview is required. If an interview is necessary to continue processing your application, the status would change to "interview required". However, since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic, IRCC have not been conducting interviews for prospective applicants both for work permit, spousal sponsorship, parents sponsorship and some other PR applications. In view of the foregoing, an immigration officer may disregard a recommended interview and subsequently grant an approval.

My observations;

I have reviewed several GCMS notes as of recent and in the past and I have come to understand that majority of applicant's with "Recommend Interview" as the current eligibility assessment on their GCMS notes are later in the visa process approved by the Senior Immigration Officer.

Although, in a few cases, some applications may be rejected due to the limited knowledge on the applicant's part to address the initial concerns. This also stems from the fact that the format is not clearly spelled out by the immigration authorities.

This is not much of a bother you know, i would recommend you check properly for the pre-assessment notes/comments which can be found on the page 2 or the last two pages of the Gcms notes.

And that’s on period!
ShowYoung:

If you care aiming for PR, it doesn't mean 1 year PGD/PGD will not qualify you.

1 year PGD will qualify you for PR so also is 2 year program.

I need to analyze it:

Getting PR through CEC demands an applicant has a one year work experience in skill level A, B or C. If you graduate in a 2 year program, you will qualify for 2 - 3 years of Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), if you graduate from a 1 year program, you are qualified for 1 year of PGWP.

THE FEAR
The fear of many people is if you have 1 year PGWP and you don't get job on time, it may not be possible to have a work experience for 12 full calendar months.

THE SOLUTION.
Not only CEC which requires 1 year work experience is the only way to getting PR. Majority of people know about only CEC: hence making a myth that 1 year program cannot get you a PR. This is a blatant lie

If you know you don't have much to spend, you can go for 1 year program, you should target provinces where it's easy to get PR. In as much as you are ready to reside anywhere, you'll easily get your PR.

1. Target Atlantic provinces, for example, in New Brunswick, you can get a PNP before graduation, if you put this PNP into Express Entry, you'll gain 600 additional point which will qualify you for direct invitation to apply for PR. New Brunswick promises to give you work permit while this process is on-going.

2. AIP is also there for people with 1 year master's degree.

3. RNIP is there.

4. The worst case scenario, 1+1 strategy is there.

5. CEC is also there. People have used 1 year course for CEC.

I will advise people to refrain from sharing fake, unconfirmed and diluted information that may jeopardize the future decision of people.
