VFS has slots available in June for Lagos
Abby212:
Good morning all,
Urgent please!!

please has anyone done biometrics recently? Please I want to know between Lagos and Abuja which has slots for June so I'll know where to book for the medical. I intend doing the medical before submitting the application and I don't want to go back and forth traveling.

Thanks

No, do not. It will count as a lump sum in your application
Lezy:

Hello everyone, please kindly advise. I have submitted my bank statement to IRCC, but I got additional funds in my account today. Is it allowed to submit updated bank statement to IRCC via web form or email?

Yes. His birth certificate, or any ways for them to know he is related to you
ItzRay:
Its the first time he's sponsoring me and i didn't attach any photo(s) taken with him.
By relationship between him and my mum, do you mean his birth certificate?

You did all your best. Did you also attach the relationship between him and your mums relationships (the proof of him being your uncle )? Also, did you also have any old photos you took with him? Most times, the visa officers also look out if the 3rd party has sponsored you in the past or proven to take care of you at some point
ItzRay:
Thank you

My sponsor was a third party (my mum's brother)

*I submitted his 6 months statement of account.
*Letter of sponsorship by him.
*Bank reference letter on his behalf stating that the account is his own.
*His business transaction invoices cos he's not a salary earner but a business man.
*His tax clearance certificate.
*His CAC business certificate.
*Affidavit of sponsorship by him.
*His international passport.
*His business i.d.

So sorry. What were the things you submitted based for the sponsorship, and who was your sponsor ?
ItzRay:
Hello house, Good evening to you all.

My Canada study permit application was refused around first week of April after waiting for 5 months (November applicant). I ordered for my GCMS notes the next day and it came out last week.
Please i need urgent help, explanations and suggestions from you all on how to tackle the reasons for the refusal as i'm preparing to reapply again by May ending or first week in June because my admission is still valid for September 2022.

Also i want to know if i should inform my school about the refusal? Or should i just go ahead and reapply again?
Attached is the GCMS note with reasons stated by the V.O. for the refusal.

Thanks as i await suggestions and options from y'all.
It'll end in praise.

I’ve seen someone answer something like this to me of using a new passport to stamp. The person told me that you can just submit a new passport as long as the passport has the old passport number ( the passport for applying on IRCC) cool without writing a mail
Malone122:
from what I know a friend did was when his old passport was about 8 months from expiring and he didn’t want to submit the old one but the new one for stamping
He got to write a small note sending to ircc through webform in his own case he said the passport was missing that’s why he had to get a new one for stamping

Mind you it wasn’t missing he just didn’t want the stamp to be on the one that had 8 months validity and even the old passport number would surely be on the new passport.

Yes to answer your question it would be stamped….. he should just write a note to ircc explaining why he is sending a new passport since the old one hasn’t expired

Honestly, to me, it’s a red light. The person should continue with anything IT related to Canadian schools/colleges/ universities, but the person should apply maybe for a PHD( it could be anything IT related or project management). Other people can give their opinions on here, but the person applying should take their time and not rush into anything outside that field of IT. Hopeful for other people here to give you more tips kiss
vicnoshon:
Thank you for taking out time to reply. The person 's 1st and 2nd degrees is Computer Science and Information Technology respectively and worked in the last 5years in the IT department of a bank. The person desires a management position and plans to setup his company in the future , hence he applied to study graduate diploma in Business Administration. Any green light

It depends on when you’ll get admission, I can’t really say, let’s say maybe a week. Conestoga college is the only college I know of; for the low tuition deposit in Ontario
Inyas2015:

How many days does it take Conestoga to give admission or is there any other school that has a low tuition deposit and also is fast like Fanshawe cuz Fanshawe deposit it very high.

Good good afternoon gurus in house, please I need your assistant, my study permit was denied base on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of
residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. I'm planning to apply next month by using my cousin as sponsor now. Please help me out

The only one I know are about PGD or the PG. certificate, which is the university BSC transcript. It would be best to check the school site and the program you want, and their admission requirements.

Creating an account on “OCAS” fill all requirements for you to register. When submitting your details make sure they are accurate, especially your passport details. Tuition deposit is $1,500 for Conestoga college. Only submit transcripts for your evaluation. Basically, you will see all you will have to do on the OCAS site. Other gurus might give you other ideas on how it goes about wink

LOL, I am literally laughing! It’s just because my first secondary school is linked to my sponsor(uncle), and I changed schools that’s why. The first one was when he wrote an email to my principal for an exeat, so I just wanted to know of a way to link all dots together. Don’t mind me
CharitoJames:

Lmao abeg oh! Don’t make your application too busy so others won’t be affected. IRCC would now make it compulsory for other Nigerians to submit Secondary school transcript now. Make i see PPR fest before you add Secondary, Primary and Nursery schools abeg oh

Belle110:

Nah it's not necessary, if you feel like sending more docs, let it be more proofs on money/funds/sponsorships/relationship/work etc, that's what they like. That's what I kept sending.

JustMellow:

Hello Teezkid,

The sum transferred to you can be considered as a demonstration of his sponsorship commitment. Ensure to explain the lump sum in your study plan. It will be best if he pays your first-year tuition while he transfers your LE to you.

Best of Luck
