Career › Re: How Lucrative Is Environmental Toxicology In Nigeria? by tejpot(m): 7:44am On May 16, 2016*. Modified: 8:14am On May 16, 2016 |
Hello Op, seems majority of people contributing to this topic are students. The idea that environmental toxicology does not sell in Nigeria is a fallacy even though not so many Related firms are springing up every day. An that's where the opportunity lies. I have friends who have taken environmental toxicology as a path and have a built family with it. All they needed to do was to work with a firm for a short time for the industry experience afterwards resigned to start theirs. You don't become an ecotoxicologist in a day. It's a gradual process. Don't jump the order! U mustn't always plan to work for people eternally. As an ecotoxicologist, your aim is to be a consultant. Then you will operate by your rules, utilize your experience to take in money. Environmental companies in Nigeria have too much in their hands and they resort to manufacturing figures. The use fake data! So there exist plenty opportunities. Again the pay is not much, but if you start early u will be better of than ur colleagues. Just do it! |

Nairaland General › As Seen On The Street Of Lagos by tejpot(op): 7:37pm On Mar 21, 2016 |
I saw this on the street of Lagos and I decided to do the needful.
The driver of the truck had a punctured tyre I guess. He then decided to endanger other peoples life.
If he's not sensible enough to know that what he is doing is wrong, I am concerned because he just destroyed what the government used my tax to construct and maintain.
This is wickedness to the government and wickedness to you and I!
I have attached the vehicle plate number and I surely think the driver should be arrested. cc lalasticlala

Business › Re: Greedy Nigerians Cashing In On The Rising Dollar Exchange Rate by tejpot(m): 11:04am On Feb 23, 2016 |
Bevista: I don't think it's completely out of place for folks to increase the price of their goods and services,, even though there is no direct FX input. --- The reality is that these business men/women patronize other goods/services which have increased in prices due to dollar effect. As a result, they have to re-price their items so they can generate enough income to meet the rising price of other items. For instance, mama Nkechi might need to buy Sardine which has increased from N150 - N200, or replace her phone which has increased from N20k - N30k, or buy her son a laptop which has increased from N70k - N120k. --- A high exchange rate fuels (imported) inflation. Should the CBN officially devalues the Naira and fuel price increase, then the inflation will become official. Everything in the market will respond instantaneously with price increase. Then we should expect increase in salary from all employers |

LEGALAide: I know you nah. You can never think with your brain. Must you support every unreasonable action of the government? So biscuits will save pupils from malnutrition? Wonders will never cease! What nonsense! So if you're fed with biscuits for ...(only God knows how long) you won't come down with some serious illness? God, please give Buhari (APC) the kind of wisdom you gave Solomon! No, biscuit cannot save them from malnutrition. in fact cement mixed with gravel will do a better job. So in your minuscle mind, nutrition is only when you eat Apu pounded with Eba and Edikang ikong? If this is wisdom, dictionaries will be revised. |
