MissGdope: xiv. I think it does to some extent show their level of intelligence because the official language in Nigeria is English and it is the language used to teach in educational institutions. However it is wrong to judge people on their English speaking/spelling skills as you never really know why they can't speak English as well as you do.
xv. . In recent time, people have been bullying our president for travelling too often, making it look like he's only travelling for tourism and not for the nation's growth. What can you say about it? To be honest I'm not actually sure how I feel about this but I'm just optimistic that whatever he's doing is going to benefit the country. There's no point in complaining as it won't change anything
xvi. I think I'm pretty because people tell me that I am LOL. I actually don't believe that I am but when people tell you something over and over then you might start to believe it. But I've also been called ugly by a few people so I think beauty is subjective. Like they say, it is in the eye of the beholder as someone I think is pretty, you might think is not so pretty Awesome...Beauty and brains |

sandrabany: My questions are for mimzy.
1.With modicum respect to the honorific word 'knight', that has suffered bastardization due to misapplication, what's 'knightly' about the 'knight' crew and why are affiliated to them? They indulge in all sort of things including revealing people's identity, what's your connection with a criminally-minded group?
2. On a thread , you wrote you are a mum, since you said you are single, I will assume you had your baby out of wedlock. What moral histogram are you setting for your child to avoid being caught on your lane of mistake? Don't you think it's discordant to our culture, tradition, religion etc, for a responsible mother to be seen getting raunchy , munchy and 'rompy' with another man online via exchange of love and sexually explicit poems?
3. Going by your antecedent on this gargantuan forum, (plagiarism) and your ties to a nefarious subgroup or subculture(the ballyhoo or bullying knights), how do you prove to us that you're not of questionable character? Don't answer this dumb question mimzy |
Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: An Interview With Mimzy, Mysticgal And Ladyjul by telemapreye1(f): 7:58pm On Jun 16, 2016 |
mimzy: So far it has been an entertaining evening. While waiting for mysticgal's answer, let's move on to the last section
Section 3: Politics, Business and Other Aspects
A. Who do you prefer between the former and current president (GEJ & PMB) ?; and give your reasons
The current and past presidents , in my opinion were faced with different manner of socio-economic challenges. But I loved the tolerant nature and listening nature of the past president and I admire the courage of the present president in fighting corruption
B. The price of food commodities like tomatoes, rice and others has increased terribly in market. How will you advice the government to tackle this issue?
Firstly, Nigeria's problems has always been preservation and cconveying products in good condition . Also, the current rise of staple food in the country is down to varying factors from disease, oil price free-fall and other factors. I think government should give local farmers incentives and facilities. I read in the dailies where over 70% of tomatoes harvested in the country rot away before they are transported to the various designation of the country. If government can provide incentives in storage facilities and cool-van to transport and store this product, we won't be in this dire dearth of tomatoes we are in currently
According to an article I read on Wikipedia days ago, Nigeria is the largest producer of cassava but garri is expensive.
Mechanized farming is the way and a ban of imported staple foods which can be grown locally.
The Agriculture Section on Nairaland is proof to the innovative drive of Nigerians.
C. Do you believe true federalism is one of the step that will address the problem of this country?
The lack of True federalism is one of the factors crippling Nigeria. The pressure and burden of administration is just too cumbersome for Abuja (Central government)
With true federalism, the states and region will be given more powers and autonomy to manage their regions more effectively.
Local government can properly and efficiently manage the grassroots and become completely free from the apron string of state government
Mutual trust and cooperation will be fostered. And as a side bonus, it will automatically bring forth economic diversification, as non oil producing regions will tap forth their natural resources to become economically viable.
It worked in the sixties somewhat when we had the three regions and with a little modification, it would again.
The rancour, rift and ethnic division that characterises the presidential elections will be reduced as the money and resources are now evenly spread amongst the states and region.
I believe true federalism will ease ethnic strife, political violence and boost economic viability and accountability.
D. Tell us why you should emerge as the winner of miss nairaland 2016?
I will like to be the next Miss nairaland because I am:
Passionate about the needs of others. Humble Down to earth. A loyalist to the core. wow!wow!!Wow!!! |

armadeo: Dude. Sorry about your loss. I completely understand how You feel.
Medical personnel don't understand that people who come to you comemfoe help and they are lackadaisical when it comes to doing thier JOBS!!
I feel sad whenever I read such, in my experience many are guilty fromnDrs to nurses to every other staff.
Let me say an experience I had that till shocks me till date. ( I am a doctor).
We had a patient who bled a lot following a surgery and was rushed back some days adyer discharge after he collapsed. I was rushing and grabbing everything in reach to resuscitate this man while doing all this the junior Dr attached to me told me it was after 4 that traffic would build up to her house that she wanted to know how long we would stay.
Believe me I was shocked into complete paralysis. I looked at the man I was managing thinking maybe I was hallucinating the entire episode and a gasping man wasn't under my hands. But There he was.
I ensured the severest punishment for her attitude was given to her ( not complete disqualification) but even my HOD who had never heard my voice above a certain pitch heard me scream when I was reporting the case.
I asked for her dismissal but was said to be too angry on that issue. Well the man survived. I know what I went through, how many times I ran from home to the hospital at night because of him, because that is what I am paid to do.
I think it a thing of pride were patients ask to see me personally just because of the attention I give to them. I am not blowing my trumpet. Just today alone I have gotten 3 bottles of wine and a package which contains imported tomatoes and other stuff from walk in patients.
This is what I live for.
We need to know why we are doing what we do. I always assume my patient to be my relative, some can be annoying but nobody goes to a mechanic to check a well functioning car. God bless you...Had it been the reverse was the case maybe my father would have still be here with me |

If you go through the pages you will see where he was being summoned by one Omenka to come and spread hate messages and he obliged him. The worst part is that the article they are now using to abuse the Igbos centred on Buhari's regime, but Omenka, Modath, Hundredhundred and other tribal bigots and ethnic supremacists ignored it and went to the last small part where the Pastor said that Biafra is dead and picked on it just because it comfortably suits into their Igbophobic disposition!
