What is it that many Nigerian women eat a pie and ice cream while going out with a guy? Maybe it is to portray an image that you eat healthy and on a diet? Maybe you feel embarrassed to eat a lot as you normally do infront of a guy? If the girl I was having dinner with was obese, chubby, chunky, big boned, thick, husky, etc. Then, ok, I would actually applaud her for eating healthy but a girl who is not in bad shape? Come on, there's Amala eba , Pounded Yam ,fish in the menu, lean steaks, light pasta, etc. as well.

Last week I had with a Amala in a restuarant with an old girl friend I sometimes see. Had some beef meat and fish with one pomo. I was not THAT hungry. She had a water too as a starter and then ordered a pie, another appetizer, etc. It was fine with me. If you like to pig out, go for it . You don't have to necessarily get your face and fingers dirty. Don't know what embarrasses some Nigerian women out there or what image they are trying to portray. Maybe I am missing something.
If you don't feel comfortable eating as much as you normally do in front of a guy, why is it?

I know this is just a forum but when it matters, I hope you do not spew that same nonsense . . . . honestly, that mode of processing information is why I believe Nigerians, on the majority, especially those with the power to vote,need to be re-educated, and the more we delay, the more people we loose to that kind of deluded thinking.

On a more serious note. All you have done so far is give me the typical Nigerian argument, the "Because I can think it, and I can so it is so, it is therefore so". This line of reasoning usually does not fly in the face of known facts and I hope you understand that what you have there, since it contradicts known facts, does not hold much water.

what do u expect from a man who went through all those military trainings living his life on drugs and all that and is growing old. his likes in my village are semi madmen. u can imagine a country where a semi madman is in charge. he talks from every part of his body.

my happiness is that nigerians are begining to understand things better now rather than those days when i used to fight alone with the likes of afam who foolishly defended obasanjo till the end of his 8 yrs. i am sure that one is either dead now or is too ashamed to bear that irrespondible name/id.

Obasanjo has never, I repeat, never been an OJUJU Calabar shrouded in mystery. The man, like any cunning being out there has simply learnt how easily he can manipulate many Nigerians, and he is continually emboldened by people who continue to think it is one baba up there they can never figure or learn of.

Please stop blaming the MEDIA. If anything I can tell you have never and will likely never meet the man you are so convinced you have figured out just by thinking it. It is really disturbing how people can pretend they know those who they have as leaders apart from their leaders. Obasanjo speaks of who he is -- his actions are recorded by several media outlets for you to read and learn  of who he truly is, aside from who you have conjured in your mind that he is. For you to come on here to tell me reading the persons is wrong just seems utterly arrogant, if you ask me.  How can you even judge a man you are unwilling to learn of in truth?
