But, that's not the case. Imagine what someone is still saying because of tribalism amidst glaring failed economic policies and bad leadership. |

God1000: Apart from Napoli, Brentford and other clubs supported Nigeria right from the beginning to the end, we appreciate their support.
Nigeria should start preparing for the next AFCON and world cup tournaments, we need new players, local players should be given the chance to showcase their talents.
On a lighter note, Have we created enemies for ourselves in Africa? because I don't understand why Ghanians and south Africans are seriously mocking us online, they've taken the banter to another level. We actually did create enemies! We started these banters! We continued this banters. Summarily, many online warriors in Africa are Nigerians and Nigerians talk too much online. |

Jokerman: How many balls did Osimhen see bro?? It's not Osimhen's fault actually. It's the coach's fault. Because we're trying to make Osimhen the only striker to feed always, we give away possession that could be built gradually! We keep playing unnecessary aerial balls that the opponents collect, calm and continue to play us. |

Why start chukwueze over Simon when you have used Simon to win your matches before?? °°
Why defend against a team you beat before ?
See how he made a mess of himself.....
See the way we were defending against them as if it was man city playing against enyimba.....
Iwobi has no business in that team!!!!
He should not be starting... Useless boy Actually, We gave CIV this final even before the game started! Everything you said here was what I said. Even from the 60th mins, I was fuming for the coach to remove Iwobi and put Alhassan. Bring in Terrem Mofi. Play and hold ball rather than this onesided aerial ball always being delivered to Osimhen and will end up being collected. Our possession no dey reach 30s, they don collect am back from us again. |

Bobloco: Where are the palliatives that were promised after the thoughtless removal of fuel subsidies?
1. The N35k cash rewards to workers?
2. The CNG buses. N100 billion was said to have been earmarked for the purchase of CNG buses. Where are the buses, and where is the money?
In the labour room.
3. The student loans that were expected to begin in January 2024, we are now in February, and students have yet to receive the loans.
4. N25k social safety net to be shared to 15 million households
5. What about the N75 billion earmarked for the strengthening of the manufacturing sector so as to increase its capacity to expand and create good-paying jobs between July 2023 and March 2024?
6. What about the N1 trillion saved from fuel subsidy removal, which was to be reinvested into the education sector and loans? In the labour room |

Nvestor02: This so called people are misinformed and they are blind to the what president Tinubu is doing. If you all can check all the news media.
There is overwhelming news of how the Police, Amotekun and Soldiers are arresting the bandits and kidnappers one after the other.
Eradicating insecurity is the first step of Nigeria greatness and Tinubu is not joking with it at all.
With security, Farmers will be able to go to farm and food will become cheaper.
The fact here is that most Nigerians Citizen has been pampered and spoilt by how Government dey pay subsidy for them.
Coast of living in Nigeria is one of the lowest, if you guys tour around the African continent you will know this.
Small bottle of coke is 200 in Nigeria but in Ghana its N720
And in south Africa it's N940, same as Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria go beat SA no be bragging oga Origin of who started football doesn't count. If not, Uruguay should be beating every team and taking worldcup. The team's identity does not matter either. After all, an underdog you didn't EXPECT beat Argentina, yet Argentina didn't come to play that day. Bros, I still maintain, Anything can happen in football. Did you know may be a defender will commit a blunder that could cost a team and make the good team lose? |

After Nigeria flogs them nothing less than 7 - 0 I expect fight to start in SA against Nigerians over there Hope you are aware South Africa didn't get to this stage playing. They fought to get there. They beat a compact team, MOROCCO. And they also have high press in their games. Let the match begin before the bragging please. How you see Nigeria beating a Semi finalist 7 - 0 is laughable. We are kicking the ass of those south Africans tomorrow For all those criticising Osimhen for the low number of goals Like a nairaland members said earlier it's not the goals that matter. His presence can frighten the opposition defence or rather make two or three players useless in the opposition team as they will be busy holding him down and others will be able to score.
That's how important quality players are You're very right o!!! Sometimes, The star distracts even the formation so much that the backline becomes exposed to the silent dangerous ones. |

Even if he relied on their experience, is he not the one who determines team formation and who plays! If he fielded the wrong players and made the wrong substitution, we wouldnt go far as we have. Nigerians hardly appreciates, so hard to please. It's in our genes, and it's bad. |
