CharleyBright: Fulani herdsmen are a real threat to Nigerian existence. My issue is that Nigerians are giving these people too much leverage and freedom. Communities across Nigeria should rise up and revolt against Fulanis herdsmen in their environment. Revolt, with which weapons??!! Sticks? Or Dane guns??!! Nigeria has been sold. |
Politics › Re: Are You Willing To Pay N178,000 Monthly For A 24-hour Electricity Supply? by Temi2468: 7:28am On Apr 04, 2024 |
ravensckar: Nigerians can never learn! We're just too short sighted to see beyond our nose.
Let's start from FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL. Almost a year now that subsidy was removed, has any refinery been built? All the so-called CNG plan, which one has been implemented. The government just increased fuel price with bogus promise and we fell for it.
Now, it's ELECTRICITY TARIFF. The government is trying so hard to increase the tariff with nothing on ground. The issue of estimated billing (for unmetred households) hasn't been addressed. Power generation & transmission issue is still there. Some communities still don't have a functioning transformer, PHCN isn't doing anything about it. The govt's primary concern is to increase tariff. Tinubu just wants to sniff life out of poor Nigerians.
Also, comparing the tariff in Nigeria with that of U.S.A is a sign of brain fault. Why can't we compare the electricity tariffs of our West African neighbours like BENIN REP.,GHANA, IVORY COAST, etc. After all, they are enjoying 24/7 power supply.
After swallowing this Electricity Tariff increment, the next thing would be increase in the cost of assessing PUBLIC HEALTH CARE. That is of course after increasing school fee for all public institutions. Let's see how long we can all adjust.
And lest I forget, this Electricity Tariff increment will favour me and my family.
Las las, we go get sense for this country. Best comment I have read so far! And I love how you ended it with sarcasm. |

Cmanforall: Nigeria needs to be strict on players, and those they invite. Yes, there could be foreign-based players of Nigerian origin. Nigeria should maybe invite only those who play regularly for their clubs and their clubs are in top 5 of their respective leagues. Anything less than that, Nigeria should just develop their homebased players for international football. They may lose at initial times, but with time they will understand each other. So friendlies should be reserved to build the teamand play well Except we get it right politically, Except we get leadership right, This beautiful suggestion will not be allowed to work!! Super Eagles is another political party! Deep statement |

The only improvement with Finidi on the coaching was the free role he gave Iwobi.
Iwobi plays better.
But, the structure I saw Pesero built wey we criticize wey still better, e don destroy am.
Defence, poor! Wings, poor!

ManDemMaCall: Bumbo Clat Babylon!
Diz Finidi George Is a half baked coach and shouldn't be given the super eagle job on the permanent basis!
This is a friendly match for God sake, what the heck is Iheanacho still doing on the pitch, there are people on the bench, makes changes and see if they can change the game! He won't change. Super Eagles is a political party on its own!!! Terrible |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Mali: International Friendly (0 - 2) On 26th March 2024 by Temi2468: 12:04am On Mar 27, 2024 |
If you want to win these super eagles, score them first.
I can bet you, they'll continue to play as if they're the one leading you by 6 goals with nothing to worry about.
Even the opponent would be hungry for more goals while super eagles on the losing side will play football without any urgency.
An ever annoying team.
I repeat, our men's football is tied to the country's politics. It's spiritual. The day we get this country right in terms of good leadership, it will naturally bring back our glory in the men's football, or else..... |

Super Eagles has a pattern that can make the best of strikers useless for 80 out of 90mins on the pitch.
That's why we blame our strikers but it's most times not their fault. |

If we continue like this, for a long time, Super Eagles will never go anywhere!
Every opponent always plays better and fascinating football.
Truth be told, We have continued to maintain poor football. We only change coach, but the poor play continues. Seems the day we get it right politically, then the glory of super eagles will come back.
Who knows!?? |
