The yoruba press who are very quick to accuse every other tribe of maltreatment have totally failed to show us one farm destroyed by Fulanis Herdmen in the west.

During the civil war, the yoruba press were active in changing the whole yoruba nation opinions against the igbo people, infact Awolowo supported the war.

Now, the yoruba press have started again, they have convinced the whole yorubas that fulanis are on their farms but they failed to show us one single picture of farmlands destroyed by fulanis herdmen.

Till today, we only hear about those "killed " by fulanis but there haven't been any pictures except pictures of fulani cows.

This is an attempt by the yoruba press to incite violence on fulani people because President Buhari never agreed with their style of FAKENEWS.

Note, the yoruba press after Buhari arrested some journalists for spreading fake news started calling President Buhari, a Major General, now they decided to involve the fulani tribes in their FAKENEWS, now, it is backfiring.

We just hope the yoruba press wont send Nigeria into another civil war.

Nothing wrong with Arabic, travel up north to see their traditional institutions and take time to read history, millions from neighbouring countries do business with us. Nigeria doesn't stop in the south. Everybody is well represented. Arabic is a plus as far as am concerned. If you can't fight to remove English then stop shouting Arabic. You can also fight to remove Sharia court in the North because we don't have muslim majority in South.

Because people used Arabic in the north or any part of Nigeria doesn't make it official language in Nigeria. Thank you

The argument wasn't dead on arrival, but the only excuse the CBN have was that, to reprint all our Naira note is capital intensive. Hence the status quo remains.

Stop being emotional. What was written in Arabic in both Army and our currency are all good. But Arabic never in all official language in our constitution, hence no need to used it to portray any good form of expression. Thanks

Are u saying that Arabic is a religion? We have a long way to go. There's advantage in the combination, Arabic is one of the most spoken languages in Africa and we transact with our neighbouring countries and beyond. I still don't understand the argument. May be we shud fight for removing English as well. Most of our actions show hatred and lack of knowledge. This is the same reflection of how we cast vote.

Every nation is being rule by its constitution, and it says English, Hausa ,Igbo and Yoruba is our official Language. So what brings Arabic?

Sighting this 1000 note as an example, The Arabic inscription on it simply means NAIRA DUBU(Hausa language) in Transliteration which means #1000.

It's Hausa language but written in Arabic.

The Arabic word for a thousand naira is ألف not نير دوبو as it's on our thousand note.

I can also write egberun naira (Yoruba language) in Arabic as we have it in Hausa language (but written in Arabic) on our note. As well as in Igbo.

أيبر نير egberun naira (#1000).

IT'S JUST A LANGUAGE as explained in this write-up, nothing like ISLAMIZATION. We all need to look away on some certain things if we must live in peace, Which is ESSENTIAL.

I can sight some examples of what we're also using in Nigeria that are related to Christianity but no fuss from Muslim side.

The argument in court was that, it violate Nigeria constitution which states English , Yoruba ,Hausa and Igbo as an official language of Nigeria. If by any means that you can read or write from any of those mentioned languages, you are literate. But writing something in Arabic language in our National value just to please some set of Muslim who failed to learn their National Language is clear violation of constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
