Chapter 1.6

Tolani entered into his office and sat heavily. It was such a nice nght, knowing well that his father wasn't ready to force him into any relationship. He smiled and sat back. On turning his head to the left, he sighted Stella's framed photograph. It made him remember the pasts again.

He deliberately put the frame there so that he wouldn't forget her any hour. He took his eyes off the photograph, he had to complete his left over works.

****

TOBILOBA was about leaving the house when his grandmother knocked at his door. He was provoked because he wasn't expecting anyone and he wished to get to his place of work as early as he could. Washing the car delayed him up to that time, he'd have left home as usual.

Though, he might sleep drunk, he'd always wake as early as possible. "Who's there?" He asked and picked his briefcase.

He heard his Grandmother' s voice call his name. "This woman is here this morning again?" He was beginning to be inpatient. He unlocked the door and prostrated.

The woman in her early seventies smiled and prayed for him. She knew he wasn't happy with her visit because it was written all over his face, but he had no choice.

Tobiloba was the only child given birth to, by his mother before she kicked the bucket. He was just in his 300 level in the university when the incident occurred. His mother died of cancer and left her mother behind, who had been taking care of Tobiloba since then.

He was handsome, but had a problem- drinking. He had just two friends who he did drink with, almost everyday. The woman; his grandmother had done all she could to abort that behaviour but he kept on drinking.

He worked as a Manager at David & sons, a company owned by Temitope Williams. "I came for an important discussion." The grandmother walked in and left him by the door.

'What discussion again?' He stretched his hands angrily, muttering.

"Come in here and let's discuss." She kept on walking in.

Tobi shut the door and walked behind her slowly and indignantly. "I have to get to work early, grandma." He said.

"Tell that your boss that I came to talk to my son." She finally got to the living room.

It was small sitting room, well furnished and had a nice scent. It was neat and tidied up, perhaps because it was owned by a bachelor.

He sat down, staring at his grandmother from where he was. "Please be fast as possible, there's a contract we want to go and bid for, today." Tobi said softly.

"I waste your time and I don't want you to waste mine. It has become an anthem that you should stop drinking but you've turned deaf hear to my words. Now, the advice I was advised was for you to get married or have someone that will be close to you.." she stopped, expecting him to pass a comment.

"Granny, we've discussed something like this before, I've told you that I don't wish to get married, marriage is just like hell." He uttered and dropped his briefcase.

"Who told you that! If you think you'll be like this forever, you are merely joking because time isn't your friend my son! Do you mean you have no one you are in a relationship with?" The pitch of her voice was getting higher.

"I don't. From what i witnessed concerning my parents, I saw that there's no love." He said slowly, that horrible arguments and hatred between his parents had pissed his mind off marriage. The time his father would be arguing with his mother, both had no unity. Though, his father had never raised his hands to beat his mother but they were always like cat and mouse till his mother died of cancer.

Aside that, he hated marriage and ladies naturally. His parents' behaviour had made him believe again that love didn't exist. He had even weighed the ladies out now, many of them just after money and at the end just jilt the guy. Many put on dresses that does expose their bodies, what does he want in marriage again?

"I've always told you your parents won't determine your own future, its your own wish that will come to pass. If you are patient enough and you hope and pray, yours won't be like that of your parents."

Tobiloba was still adamant. "I still don't want any of them! Granny, I'm getting late."

"Either you like it or not, you must marry and stop this your useless drinking with these friends of yours. I'm going to bring a lady to this place tomorrow, thank God tomorrow is Saturday." She stood up.

'A lady...' He repeated.

Chapter 1.4

Tolani kept staring at Feyi, likewise Feyi herself. "I don't think so." Tolani replied his father that he didn't recognize her.

"I knew it, what of you, Feyi?" He asked her.

"I recognize him, I still know him." She smiled.

How? Tolani wondered and smiled too. "How was Manchester?" Prof asked Tolani.

They continued discussing with him and offered him a seat to sit as well.

****

It was already dark when Tolani walked down to his father's room to ask him questions. He's been bothered and didn't want any trouble whatsoever. He was allowed to come in. His father was trying to send a mail when Tolani arrived.

Feyi and her father had gone some hours before that time so he felt he should ask his father the question that had been bothering him since he saw Feyi.

"Hope you enjoyed office today?" Oladele asked his son.

Tolani sat down calmly. "Yes dad."

"So you really couldn't recognize Feyi?"

"Dad, I came because of her. I've watched movies, read stories and I don't like what majority of parents are doing, out there. I hope you aren't planning anything like making her my wife or something?" He asked frankly.

Oladele chuckled. "Tolani!" He emphasised on his name and stood up. "I'm not a father like those out there. See, I don't discriminate. You can marry whosoever you wish to, she only came here to greet me."

Tolani was relieved. He smiled and glimpsed at his father. "That's a good idea." He said.

Oladele also smiled. He wasn't expecting the question his came to ask him. He wouldn't do that, to his only son.

"Let me get going, I have some things to thrash in the office tomorrow." He said and stood up.

♡♡♡♡

Stella yawned and stood up from the sofa she laid on. It was already some minutes past nine, she was expecting Favour to return back from where she went to.

She told Stella she wanted to visit her father's place if he'd recognize her and give her some money. It was just then, she entered slowly. "How was it?" Stella quickly asked on sighting her.

"Still the same.." she sat down, seemed tired.

"Nawa oh." Stella said and hissed.

"See, I got to know there's a vacancy at Diamond hotel while coming, let's go and try that, early tomorrow." Favour said.

"This was what my father did that later sent him to grave. I hope I'm safe.." she sighed.

"We'll be prayerful, nothing is going to happen!" Fave assured her.

    ****

"For the time being, you'll go and manage my Diamond Hotel. I don't know why you children of nowadays love having your own company, set up. Can't you discard Architecture and oversee my hotels?" Prof. Olakunle addressed his daughter, Feyi.

"That's what I wish, how would I go abroad to study and at the end be the Overseer of Hotels?"

"No problem, I'll take you there tomorrow for introduction."

    "Alright Dad." Feyi was happy.

    ****

     The next day.

It was 7:15 am when Stella left Favour for tbe Hotel. She had not been feeling good about the hotel, she didn't wish to venture into that kind of work. It made her remember her father, how he did speak to her and how was been tortured for uncommitted offence. She had prayed and hoped she'd be favoured.

Favour led the way as they were going while Stella was behind, still brooding. It was like she was painting the image of his father in her memory until a vehicle almost collided with her.

At first, she thought she had been hit by the vehicle and fell instantly. They young guy who was heading to his own office ran down from the car and helped her up. She was already in shock, shivering. "She can't be left this way..." he said to Favour and carried her into his car.

He was a gentle was handsome guy. He was also aiming at getting to office so early when he almost hit her. He got her to the hospital for little treatments and advised her on brooding. He said he'd come and check on her by evening, since the Doctor said she wanted her to take a rest till evening.

Chapter 1.2

TOLANI had tried all he could but none of his attempts was able to locate where Stella was. Yes, he still loved her and the love hadn't faded. He wished to know if she hadn't given her heart to someone else; if she hadn't gotten married.

He called the mobile phone numbers he knew but none went through. He visited the house he knew they were living in, before his depature but still she wasn't there despite his difficulties and obstacles.

He disciplined himself to the extent that he didn't give his heart to anyone else because of Stella. He wished to know if she kept the bead he gave to her because he knew Stella did cherish whatever given to her to keep. Tolani wished to know if she just broke up with him because she wanted him to excel or she meant it.

He had imagined how she could be, where she worked and what she looked like. He wished his wishes could come true so that he could set his eyes on her again.

♡♡♡

Tolani got back home and headed to his room. He was already tired, perhaps the day was hectic. It was less than ten minutes after, Professor Olakunle drove into the compound in a Nissan Pathfinder Jeep. He walked in with his daughter, Feyi.

Professor was the owner of three popular hotels in the town and one of Oladele- Tolani's father's best friends. It was Oladele that established the Professor.

Though, he was an English professor but he had nothing good to do with it his title, as a professor until he met Oladele who turned his situation around into harmony. Then, he sent his daughter to Oxford University, to study.

Feyi was a young, bright and beautiful young lady who studied Architecture. She was brilliant and graduated with colourful grades in the university. She loved drawing, which motivated her into the course she studied. Her father had been telling her he would bring her to Oladele's place to greet him because he was the one that helped him and his family.

She walked in slowly, with her dark and hefty father. She was smiling in the brown gown she had on her and her brown purse. She had many purses and handbags of various types and colours which she did use to match any cloth she had on.

Prof had called Oladele earlier to know if he was around because he wanted to show him who her daughter was, at the same time, he wanted to know how Tolani was.

"Oladele!" He grinned and increased his pace on seeing his friend.

"Ha.. you came so early.." Oladele grinned as well and stood up.

"Welcome, how are you beautiful angel?" He sighted Feyi behind her father.

Feyi bent smiling. "I'm good sir, good day."

"Come on, have your seat dear. I can read it in your utterances, hope you've not gone there to be speaking like them.

Feyi chuckled and sat down. "Not at all sir."

"You better sit too.." Oladele addressed Prof.

Prof sat down as well. "Where's my son?"

Oladele sat down. "He just came back from office and went upstairs. What would you like to eat?"

"I'm okay.." Prof. said.

"Who's asking you? I'm asking my princess."

Feyi was flattered. She grinned; exposing her beautiful set of white teeth. "I'm alright."

"Tolani!" Oladele shouted his son's name so he could come and greet his friend and 'the princess' as she was termed.

Tolani rushed down the stairs. He knew they had a visitor or more. He had taken his bath, he was just trying to check Facebook again if he'd find the name - Olasupo Stella.

'Who are these?' He asked within himself smiling as he saw the Prof. He bent and greeted him. "Good evening sir."

"Wao! Tola has grown bigger!" Prof. admired him standing. "Same as his so-called wife." Oladele said, jokingly.
m
Prof. and Oladele were so close before they missed their contacts. Then, Tolani was always called Feyi's husband.

"Do you know her?" His father pointed at Feyi.

He gave a long look at her, as well as Feyi.

♥ONE

LOVE IS KIND, HAPPY, CHEERFUL AND NICE. LOVE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING- Tee'Dan.

    FOUR YEARS EARLIER.

TOLANI WAS SMILING, staring at Stella and Favour with his playing cards well covered up. What else could make him happier, that time than playing with Stella and her friend, Favour. At least, they just finished their tests and Tolani had came to Stella's room to play cards with her and discuss with her about his traveling.

He didn't know how to start the discussion so he felt playing, at first would be the introduction to his discussion with her. He had a black bag on him, as he played with the ladies. He had been leading the game on point and had been laughing at the ladies because he had told them earlier that he was going to win.

He scratched his head using his index finger. "Stella, I came because of something important." He said slowly.

Stella who had been laughing raised her head and gazed at him. He seemed serious that time, what important thing had he came for? If Tolani spoke seriously, he meant every word from his mouth.

Her impression and expression showed she was ready to hear what he came for without asking what it was. Favour also paused, should she stand for the couple or remain there? What if it was something secretive they wish to discuss? She kept on pondering.

"I want to travel, Dad said he wants to send me to Manchester; where his brother lives, to complete my education." He said.

"That's a nice idea, but he should have done that earlier than now." Stella was glad.

    "Wao, congrats." Fave smiled.

"What's the happiness and well wishes all about? Do I look like I've accepted his offer to leave Nigeria? Why on earth can't I stay in my country to study like others? I refused."

"You refused? Larger percentage of students in Nigeria wish to travel abroad to study, if I have thay chance do you think I'll wait in Nigeria? Yes, you may not like it but you have to go!" Stella spoke with passion and dropped the playing cards.

Tolani dropped his cards too. "I wish to leave, but not without you. If you don't go to Manchester, I won't likewise. But Dad is not ready to send you with me and I won't leave likewise." Be said.

"Because of me? Tolani!" She called his name faintly.

"Yes now, I can't imagine leaving you all alone. Your dad is on the sick bed, you also know where your mother is... I can't!"

"If it's because me then... I'm no longer interested in this relationship." Stella was downcast.

     "Stella!" Favour cut in.

"I'm for real, I'm not interested." She repeated herself.

"Are you out of your mind?" Favour packed the cards she had with her together and gazed at Stella.

"I'm not, I'm serious! Let us depart if it will cause you not to go."

    "St...stella.." Tolani stammered.

Stella still couldn't raise her head properly. She didn't want to be the mistake in his life, she wanted the best for him. "This is not a joke." She said again.

"Are you really for real?" Tolani asked again.

"I'm serious." She spoke really serious.

Tolani was taut. He stood up gently and picked his bag. He gazed at Stella and Favour again before he removed his hand bead and dropped it on the table. He was tight-lipped and wan, he left the room without returning.

☆★☆★

   ♡Four years after - Present.

"I've grown, I've seen a lot, I've witnessed trials, was born into abject poverty, still father worked as a hotel cleaner before he was accused of stealing a golden wristwatch which the owner forgot inside the car. He was detained, tortured until he was found innocent, free from artificiality. This landed him into a terrible sickness, no one could help, not even those who accused him of stealing neither the hotel in question. Tolani tried his best before he finally left for Manchester, then it resulted into sickness. Mother, a rare gem on earth. She worked as a maid in a rich man's house after my father died, even with her age. A woman that has given birth to two children, one died at the age of seven when he was sick and there was nothing to be done because there was no money and me, twenty-five years of age. The woman who has given birth to a child of my age, is fourty-eight years, still a maid in a rich man's house. She did it for me to excel, I passed out, made it but there's still no job to do."Stella dropped her handkerchief.

"I deliberately kept quiet for you to speak, express yourself and remember the pasts. As you know, you are still a lot better than people out there. Though, you may have a very sad story, everything about you may be weird but you'll make it someday also." Favour said.

"This is our usual chorus, usual anthem but nothing has ever changed has it?" She questioned.

Favour heaved a sigh and kept her head low. She was born into a polygamous family of four wives and eleven children. Her mother was the first wife that was sent out of her father's house because of barreness. It was after two months it happened she knew she was carrying a baby.

At first, she kept mute and didn't want to get her husband informed since he didn't even love her again too. She was persuaded by her mother who eventually took her to his house and told him her daughter, Favour's mother was pregnant.

It was already the third month, who would believe she wasn't telling a lie? She was refused and since then, her mother had been catering for her till she gave birth. There was no one to offer help, Favour's mother also strived hard to make sure her daughter was well eduacted so that she wouldn't suffer like she did.

♡♡♡

Tolani just returned back to Nigeria, two months back. He was the one his father sent to head the headquarters of his companies. Throughout his stay in Manchester, he always remembered Stella. He did pray that she should be fine, as well as her parents.

He had tried all means to get in touch with her again but all was up to no avail.

David and Yvonne headed to Stefikal foods to meet Victor as he had called. Who could tell what he wanted? He might want to discuss something reasonable with her.

Yvonne sighed her from afar and wiped her face. 'He's really here' she thought and walked slowly while David walked behind her. Victor stood immediately on sighting her. He thought it was her fiancee that followed him there at first until David shook him and introduced himself as the brother.

He offered them seats and sat as well. "I'm really happy you honoured my invitation. I never knew you could come here despite all I've done for you. I called you to say I'm deeply sorry, Yvonne. I don't want to start saying unnecessary things that's why I've hit what I want to discuss with you. Everything has wiped off, I've learnt my lesson that true love is not in fornication, it's not when you have several girls you have true love. I've read it within myself that you are the only responsible lady I've ever met. Please." Victor apologized.

Yvonne sighed. She glimpsed at David as if she was expecting an approval from him. David also raised his eyebrows, trying to tell her to accept him. "I don't really know what.. what to say, to be honest!" Yvonne kept her head low.

"Why is it that you're also part of those guys people use to abuse other guys? Why is it that you're not steadfast in God? Rather, in devil, satan and sins. But thank God you've found the light, its left to Yvonne because if a sinnee already knows he had sinned and ready to repent, he should spend much time kneeling." David addressed.

"Hmmn... I'm just sorry." Vic continued apologizing.

"I've heard. Who I'm I not to forgive you when we all sin to God and he forgives?"

Victor smiled. "Thanks so much Yvonne and Uncle David. God will perfect everything that concerns you." He stood happily.

"Amen oh." David smiled too.

"What would you guys love to eat or drink?"

Without much delay, Ademide followed Olanike to her parents' house to greet them. As usual, he had prostrated immediately he saw Olanike's father approaching. He had been afraid to come there, facing in-laws was one of his problems but it must be done. "Sit down." He heard the strong voice and sat down at once. "Isn't this Ademide?" The man removed his glasses and fixed his eyes on him.

Ademide grinned. "Yes sir." He bowed.

"It's really you. How come you left my farm just like that? Things aren't done that way." He said softly.

"I'm sorry sir. One thing about me is that I'm usually shh to express myself and didn't know how you'd feel so I decided to quit that way." He smiled.

"You found a place where they can pay you heavily?"

David chuckled. "Sir, I once told you I'm a graduate. I now control a big company too, paying salaries."

"God is go great, you just came to greet me right?"

Ademide paused. He was smiling and turned his head, glimpsing at Olanike, trying to tell her to cut in. "Dad, he's the one I want to marry."

"Wao!" The man stood up smiling. "Honestly, I never knew.."

Ademide was just laughing.

"Where did you people meet?" He sat back, smiling. He was really happy to hear that.

"Since university dad, we went to the same university." Olanike replied.

"That's not a problem, preparations shouls begin then, I've accepted you with all my heart. You've worked with me before and I know the kind of person you are. You're gentle and honest, so I'm really happy you're back to me."

Ademide was just laughing.

David picked his mobile phone and dialed Jomiloju's mobile number. She picked up a d started discussing.

"Don't you suppose to know you were meant to give Ann the mobile phone instantly you saw the call? Why would I want to talk to an ugly girl." He grinned, trying to tease Jomiloju.

"Na u sabi.." She handed the mobile phone to Anm instantly.

"Hello, Mr Adefemi."

"Abeg drop that Mr jare.." David laughed. "I just want to ask you something." He stopped talking.

"What?" Ann was eager.

"If you were to build a company, what name would you give the company?"

"Davyann Company, but why did you ask?"

"DAVYANN?" David laughed.

"Yes, but why did you ask?" She asked again.

"I've been asking people getting a lot of funny answers." He tried to disguise as if he was serious.

"That means your airtime is so much." They both laughed.

"So how's your health?"

"I'm now alright oh, can't wait tk return back to Nigeria."

"All is well, just two weeks from now, so be patient."

"Thanks Mr Adefemi."

"I told you not to call me that..." They both laughed.

♡♥♡♥♡♡

A WEEK LATER.

David wanted everything to have been done before Ann's arrival. He had already furnished the house to the taste of Ann and her parents. He could remember how their previous house looked like, he made sure everything had been done, even he had already employed a gatekeeper but was still unknown to Vanessa and Thompson.

He had gotten experts at interior and exterior decorations who had decorated the company for him. He had already spent a year on building the company but after he saw all that had been done, he knew it worth the wait. It was a beautiful tall building, he knew Ann would appreciate him on hearing it was for her. He had received the license and had started employing graduates, all that would be left was for Ann to start controlling. He was glad.

DAVYANN COMPANY was a company one would continue to stare at because it was big and beautiful. He had already called on Linda and told her she'd be the Manager of the company but warned her not to tell her friend.

Linda had cried profusely, wondering that the rejected stone had became the celebrated masterpiece. She never knew David would be the one who would later help her, God worked out a big way.

*****

5th October was picked by olanike's parents as the introduction day, just three weeks from then. It was a great thing for the Adefemis to be back again as one family. David and his brother had been practising how they'd prostrate that day and were just laughing a themselves. It would be a great day.

Olanike had also laughed at them severally. Ademide had called his best friend; Fred that he'd be the one to best him while Mayowa would best Olanike that day. David and his brother had started buying everything needed to be bought for the in-laws.

David was still with his brother laughing when his phone beeped. "Where you dey?" He read the message out.

He was expecting an important call because it was the day Ann would arrive. He called the mobile number instantly and it was his sister. "We're at the front of your house." She said instantly.

'Silly girl! How come she didn't call me to come and pick them at the airport.' David muttered and told his brother Ann had arrived. They left for the place immediately.

They were really there. David couldn't believe Jomiloju couldn't call him to come and pick them. Faith was also met there. David and Ann hugged each other immediately they sighted. David unlocked the gate amd let them in.

He put his hand across Ann's neck and walked beside her, talking to her gently. He had really missed her. "You! How come you got here even before the owner of the sister?" He addressed Faith.

"I rushed down immediately my love called me to come amd pick them at the airport. She wanted me to be th first person that'd see her." He pulles his tounge out making jest of him.

"You, you didn't call me because of Faith, you now let my own dear enter into Faith's stinking car."

They all laughed.

***

Not long after, David told them he'd like to show them something. "I've already employed another accountant." He said to Ann.

"It's not good now, as if I won't return right?" She looked sad.

Davis smiled briefly amd drove on until he got to her parents' house to confirm if the driver he sent there had carried out his mission. He had already paid a driver to move things neccessary from the house and the parents to the new house in the Estate.

Ann wondered where her parents were but David failed to tell her and took her back to the company. He got down with her, Jomiloju, Faith and Ademide. "Where's this?" Ann asked.

He raised her head for her tl be able to view the name of the company. "Davyann, it's yours."

"Mine?" Ann almost lost control. She never knew David was asking her the question because of what he'd do. Should she kneel down or what?

Ademide leaned on the car and was just laughing. David never told any of them asides Faith.

They entered into the company and were speechless. David really spent a lot to build that place. "I'm going tl hand you the documents and the keys later but let's go and meet your parents, they are expectant.

♥♥♥♥

Till David got to the house, Ann was questioning him on where he was heading to. He hooted twice before the gate keeper opened the gate for him. Vanessa and Thompson were outside, in the compound looking around.

Ann couldn't control her joy on seeing her father back to his feet. She ran as fast as she could and hugged him. She had missed his mother too.

She hugged them both and stood beside them. She was really happy to see them again. As she was about saying what David had done for her, her father told her that was the house David bought for them.

This time, Faith also arrived with Jomiloju and Ademide.
"You don't need to thank me, we should all thank God for making us to be alive. Many that are not up to us are already dead, many that are even better are outside there, performing madness. I should be the one who's grateful to God and you all, if not whe would I have been?" He paused.

"I still can't believe it!" Ann kept wondering.

"See, there's nothing we brought to the earth amd can't take anythint back to heaven. I find it difficult not to assist people when I'm most needed. All the same you and I are still alive, still here talking. All I passed through, even you, but God helped us because he's merciful.

Thompson and his wife started weeping. If one's joy has overflowed, tears might come. It was a remarkable day for them. "I'm seizing this oppurtunity today to tell you, Ann... I.. I love you." He grinned and pulled her to himself.

Ann was happy. Ademide couldn't stop laughing from where he was. If David wasn't born, what would have happened? He was the one behind all the success that happened. At last he could hold Ann as his love again, after the thorough GAME OF LOVE.

THE END.

It's gonna b bad if after writing for more than 30 days, get phone problem, data loss, wahala here and there u never gain....

We all read and knew what happened, David got to his promise land through wah? Through GOD! Either muslim or a Christian, even traditional worshipper, practice your belief in truth and holiness. I wrote something about devotion, only God knowa when last I had mine too but as it refers to u, it does to me too! Move closer to God.

I'm nt preaching, just trying to deduce what this story z about. Another thing is that lying has nothing good to offer! It almost ruined David. Either a big lie or small one, abeg no lie!

Continuation.

Olajumoke halted on seeing her husband. What would she say? She was surprised that her mouth was wide open. "Bolaji..." she called his name softly and continued staring at him until Ademide cuddled her from behind. "Mum, let's get going."

"Welcome, my wife." Bolaji said, also staring at her.

"Me? Your wife?" She pointed to herself using her index finger.

"We can sort this out on the way or at home. Mum, hop in!" David clapped his hands together.

"Please come in... I can't just stop saying I'm deeply sorry.." he looked sober.

"Sorry?" Olajumoke entered into the car reluctantly. She couldn't take her eyes off him. Olanike that had been greeting her was so frustrated because she didn't hear her out.

"Jumoke, it wasn't my doing, I didn't know what I was doing. I'm deeply sorry." He tried to cry.

Ademide slammed the door and walked over to the passenger's seat beside Ademide and sat down. Olajumoke and her husband were sitting beside each other while Olanike was behind Ademide.

Olajumoke also felt sober. She could vividly remember the day she was humiliated and sent out of her husband's house. The pains she passed through and her children. She sighed continuously.

"Mum, there's absolutely nothing we're going to gain from being unrepentant. We should all repent and turn away from our wrongs. We've all made mistakes in everything that happened." David said.

"I didn't..." Ademide cut in.

"You did! In fact, yours was very much. Tell me as a family, do we sit down to pray, are we close to God? Don't you know it's a porous family that is very easy for the devil to penetrate into? I f we were strong in God do you think we would be attacked by anyone? We all have our faults! Bro, how many times do you read your bible amd pray per week?" David asked Ademide.

"Everyday of course!" He clapped his hands together.

"That means you just started it. Is that how you do before?" He questioned.

"N..no." Ademide stuttered.

"Its a cold place you will always find trouble but a hot family with strong devotions hardly experience this!"

Olajumoke sighed. She was really wrong to but her pasts couldn't be forgotten so easily.

*****

"Yvonne, all is well concerning those who love God. You shouldn't be like this because of the news you heard. It's not going to do you anything good!" David admonished her.

"I know bro, but it was a great surprise. I never knew dad could keep such away from me, a whole me.." she frowned.

"All is well, we should all come together as a family to forge ahead.."

"But David, I wish to know that woman, that woman they called my mother."

David sighed. "Where do we go to?"

Yvonne's phone vibrated. She picked up her phone and viewed the message that was received and saw Victor's text message. "So this guy is still alive?" She muttered.

'Please we need to talk, can you meet me at Stefikal foods now? Please Yvonne.' She read.

"Please Dave, I want us to visit somewhere."

"Where to?" He glanced at her.

↑CHAPTER TEN↓ ◀CONCLUDING CHAPTER▶

Yvonne landed in the hospital on hearing her father's confessions. She never believed her father could have hidden so much from her, she was hit by what she was told until she opened her eyes in the hospital.

David was right beside her because he was called immediately Yvonne fainted. He also knew it'd be the greatest shock of her life to know he was her brother.

♡♥♡♥

"Hello!" Olanike grinned and entered into the living room.

Ademide stood instantly. He was sl pleased to see her that evening. "How are you, my love?" He so grinned.

"I'm good, you?" She sat down.

"Likewise good. I'm so delighted to see you. What would you like to eat or drink?" He enquired.

"As if he can cook.." Olanike pulled her tounge out and laughed.

"So I've never cooked for you to taste? I'm not a type of guy a lady can make jest of simply because of cooking. I'm up to standard." He clapped his hands together and laughed.

"Anyhow. I came because of an important discussion." She sat properly.

"What is it?" Ademide asked.

"My parents said they'd like to see the person I'm dating." She replied.

Ademide laughed. "You don't mean this.."

"I'm serious, but Ademide, can't you see that we aren't getting younger everyday?"

Ademide sighed. "That's true but patience also matters my dear." He sat back and leaned against the sofa.

"We've had enough haven't we? I know you well and you know me likewise..." she replied.

"Alright, I'll come and see them, don't worry."

"Thanks so much." Olanike was happy.

******

A month later.

Olajumoke stepped out of the plane and smiled. Thanks to God for the journey mercies. She was putting on a beautiful pink gown and was looking so sexy. Who would believe it that the woman had given birth to three old children with her young stature and beautiful face.

She was longing to see the faces of her sons: Ademide and David, she had missed them quite much. Though Ademide just left her for Nigeria, a month back while she had been separated from David for many months.

David was already waiting for the plane to land and thanks to God, she had finally arrived. He also couldn't wait to see her mother. He came with his father, Ademide and his wife-to-be, Olanike.

Not quite long after, David saw his mother approaching. He left the spot he was instantly and rushed to meet her. He hugged her happily and pecked her. "Welcome best mother." He helped her with her bags and headed for the car.

Olajumoke was also happy until she got to the car and met Adefemi, her husband.

"Your father did what?" He was shocked.

"Just take it easy dad, tell Yvonne everything so that she can know we are siblings." He walked outside and left.

He met Yvonne and her P.A on the way as he was driving, he couldn't greet them. He just kept driving, everything was miserable, he had to go and meet his father, he should tell him he had found his sister, Yvonne.

"My son, I'm sorry for the past, it was not me but the charms, I didn't know what I was doing, I wasn't in my right senses, I know you all have been going through hell, I know you people have been suffering, I'm deeply sorry..." Adefemi said to David.

David remembered the day they were really sent out, how her worked with Coscharis Cars, worked as a houseboy, the humiliations and the difficulties his mother passed through. Ademide worked in a poultry farm, Jomiloju had no money om school just because of because of his father. He couldn't hold it any longer too, he started weeping and cudled his father. He knew it wasn't his fault, though he was also stubborn but he shouldn't be left unforgiven because if he hadn't done that, how would he have met himself in the village where his dream would come true? Everything worked out for favour. "But Dad, none of your children is suffering, not even your wife. I'll speak with mum, she's no longer in Nigeria, she's overseas. You have to go to the hospital for treatment because it seems this malaria is still much and i found the lady, the result of the pregnancy."

"You did?"

"Yes dad but before anything, lets visit the hospital.

David's phone rang. He stood up to pick the call while his father was dressing up. "Oh boy, everything is complete." Faith addressed him.

"Everything? No problem, I'll come and see you."
