The anti open grazing also applies to indigenous people. They should rent land and herd their cattle.

BusinessRe: Nigeria’s Oil Reserves Dropped By 543 Million Barrels - OPEC by tempest01(m): 12:08am On Oct 01, 2021
Someone should do the math for the South, so that our governors and leaders can know how many more years we will have oil money to squander and then move to abject poverty. Then, dog go chop dog.
Say we find more reserves and have 40 billion barrels estimate,

We produce 2 million bbls a day which roughly translates to 730 million bbls a year.

At this rate, in 27 - 30 years, oil will finish and we would love to abject poverty. We have to get it right Southerners.

Do your children a favour and give them a second country.

Foolishness. Instead of dragging them to court for recruitment done everywhere devoid of the constitutionally mandated federal character, they are dragging them to court for a non constitutionally mandated power rotation.
ProgrammingRe: Validation Statement In Python by tempest01(m):
I am still new to python, but i think you would utilize the

input() - to get user input

try.....except....finally / or if else - to validate user input

isalpha() & isdigit() in the try block to validate the alphabet and digit part of the input

Modified - This should give you an idea of the step to take. I have not tested this and don't know if the code used is correct.

Reg = input("Please enter your Reg Number: "wink

if Reg[:1].isalpha() and Reg[2:5].isdigit(): #can also add another condition here to check if the length of input ==5 (and len(Reg) == 5)
print("Reg Number Valid!"wink
else:
print("Not valid, You have to figure a way to loop the process."wink #Can use the while before the if/else to loop

edited again. i think it is cleaner to use while for validation

Reg = input("Please enter your Reg Number: "wink

while not Reg[:1].isalpha() and Reg[2:5].isdigit() and len(Reg) == 5: #can try isnumeric() if isdigit doesn't work
Reg = input("Error: Re-enter correct Reg number: "wink

PoliticsRe: PMB's Men Plot Capture Of Petroleum Sector With Controversial Appointments by tempest01(m): 5:29am On Sep 28, 2021
It is very important for the southern people to go through the content of these letters and the proposed changes and make sure there is nothing untoward.

No changes were proposed when stakeholders were clamouring for changes but other changes are forwarded easily to be implemented.

This is an afterthought change that should be analysed carefully line by line. I sense that they will be some nefarious clauses that will be sectional and not National interest.

The last oil blocs awarded, who are the beneficiaries? Why is the list top secret if it is not shrouded in corruption?

You people were caught sleeping once. If you are caught sleeping again, be ready to be in perpetual slavery.
Politics#endsars - Nigerian Government, Police, Judiciary Etc - Time To Get It Right. by tempest01(op): 5:28am On Sep 28, 2021
20-10 draws close. It will be a one year remembrance of the #LekkiMassacre. I don't know what to make of it as the day closes. But I sense that a lot of emotions will run high that period.

One thing that comes to my mind a lot is that there are a lot of young Nigerians who came out to ask for a better country to live in. Who activated their constitutional rights to protest and demand from government and are languishing in Prisons close to a year. For no known crime in most cases.

This has shown that the federal government of the day is insensitive. The Judiciary as we know it is compromised. And the legislature that is drawn from amongst us do not have our best interest. There is still time for those of you that hold positions in these arms of government or are affiliated to them to take the right decisions in accordance of the law and do away with rascal and criminal acts to suppress the general populace. Free all innocent #ENDSARS protesters still in prison.

To every other of us that sensibly was against the brutality and oppression. I would ask you all not to forget those incarcerated and targeted by the system on trumped up charges for their part. They should be the focus of all. Let's make the upcoming #20.10.20 remembrance about those still held by the system. It could have been any of you in those cells. Imagine just asking the government to reign in their police and make them stop killing, extorting and harassing Nigerians and ending up in prison for a year for it. Injustice to one should be injustice to all.

Location and details of n the rematch would already have been ironed out before the first match. AJ would have the upper hand in negotiation as the title holder then, so I don't see any reason the rematch will happen in Ukraune.

BusinessRe: Businesses In Nigeria Must Accept E-naira Payment, CBN Warns by tempest01(m): 12:04pm On Sep 27, 2021
Support the enaira people.

Even as a critic of this present government, this is a good development.

The only problems I see is the govt issuing out electronic money at will and implementing repressive tax regimes directly on wallets as is seen even with traditional banking.

If done right and without corrupt input and favouritism, the enaira has a huge part to play in fighting corruption and boosting the economy.
BusinessRe: How Do You Cope With This Much Charges From The Bank by tempest01(m): 2:07am On Sep 27, 2021
The docile Nigerians are keeping quiet. Sms charge, stamp duty, electronic transfer charges for each transfer.

If you add up all these charges in a year, it is more than what people in working countries are paying as taxes compared to their earnings.

But these people are still looking to get more money from Nigerians with nothing to show.

After taking monies illegally from our banks, they now wrote it into law with their rubber stamp Senate and you people are sitting back.

We are watching, at the end they will sign laws and take a chunk of monies from your accounts.

When the virus is not contained and creates a pandemic like what we are facing, they will now deny everything and claim natural origins.

LadyExcellency:
Federal Government of Nigeria knows the truth about agents of terrorism in Nigeria by mentioning BokoHaram/ISWAP and Bandits terrorising Northern Nigeria but will always make IPOB the National headlines.

IPOB is not a terrorist organisation. It's time to defend the UN right for indigenous people to self determination/independence

Hypocrites.
I observed this too. It's deliberate. They left out that part because they know that their atrocities are all over the media.

They also wrote the speech and mentioned human rights alot, knowing fully well that the world is in the know of their wanton human rights violation. Maybe they think speaking positive about it will change what is on ground.

And they are unapologetic about their scrubs. That's why they want power to remain in the North.

A very terrible government that thinks stealing money, channelling money and resources to one side of the country and sending that humanitarian woman around to share money to their kin will build an economy.

Now that the effects of mismanagement has shown, they are still claiming "competence" over zoning.

Do they mean the southerners are incompetent? Even if they are, we want that incompetence over the nonsense their kin is currently overseeing.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Debunking The Propaganda That A Southern Candidate Will Lose In The North by tempest01(m): 9:44pm On Sep 23, 2021
FCT that leaned PDP in the last elections?

PDP should not make the mistake and falling for the Atiku kawai stunts. His time was in 2019. Since it didn't happen, it's not happening again. The South won't give him their slot. He has not also shown any signs that he will not continue the current supremacy agenda of his tribe when in power. He has never spoken against their terrible actions and capital crimes nationwide or called them to order as with the current ruling overlords pushing the agenda. To me he was a better alternative to PMB, but now, a sensible southerner from any party is a better alternative.

APC or PDP bringing a northerner will see a mass defection and realignment. If they go ahead and rig as usual afterwards, I see great destabilization in the country. This I have seen.

But a southern stooge is not the solution to our problems. The APC cabal will try to push for one if the southern clamour still goes on. A stooge is worse than having another northerner. We need someone with balls to take tough actions to correct the many wrongs done to the South and Nigeria at large by this nefarious administration.
