As for my wife, she had no travel experience. An agent said he'll work on 2years multiple entry for US. But I'm afraid based on some past experiences.

You and your wife could get into the country on a visitor visa, but if y'all plan on staying long-term then you should be prepared to look at other visa options.

You don't settle down with a B1/B2 Visa. It's just for Visitors. That Agent might be another rogue.

Once you have found a sponsoring employer, the next step would be to have that employer obtain a Labor Condition Application LCA on your behalf.
Once you have an LCA, your employer will need to file an I-129 for you. Remember that your employer must sponsor you, you cannot sponsor yourself.
